Super Detective in the Fictional World

Chapter 146: 164 Give Me The Password And Run (2 more)

“Mr. Aoki, I don't care about your headquarter data, I just need your password.” The thick male voice said.

“What exactly do you want?” The old man Aoki said.

“Nakatomi has made a lot of money in the last two years, and we know that at the bottom of the building you built, there's a secret vault with $640 million in bearer bonds.” The thick male voice said.

Luke's heart: No wonder there was such a big battle, at least 40 bandits at once, so it was for 640 million.

Bearer bonds sound pretty big, but this is what China has issued treasury bills for.

But the number of bearer bonds is dwindling, as it is naturally a good tool to provide criminals with a way to transfer funds, and most countries no longer issue it and take back a batch of it for destruction.

The old man over there was angry: "What kind of empty cloth are you? Just for the money? ”

“Yes, Mr. Aoki, we just want money, it doesn't matter what the others think of us. So, give me the password.” The male accent said.

Aoki didn't say anything.

The man sighed, “Okay, you see this? I'll count to three, and if you don't, I'll do it. ”

Luke looked up slightly and found that he was a middle-aged white man with a full circle of mustaches. He had a middle-aged villain in his body, with a pistol in his hand and a gun pointed at the old man Aoki.

What should we do? Luke's heart swings, and almost instantly he decides that Aoki can't die here.

If it turns into a murder scene, it's bound to be turned upside down by forensics, and Luke and Jimena are going to have a lot of fun here.

He's not interested in turning his private life into a bargain for LAPD officers.

Like, "You know what happened on Christmas Eve? A detective snaps on an empty cloth player's head, lifts his pants and kills all empty cloth players." If this topic spreads, I'm afraid it'll be a proud case for LAPD!

Our detectives, if they don't put their pants on, they can start shooting blanks!

Luke decides to go ahead and talk about his “great accomplishments" when he arrives at Sting, perhaps later, as a new detective.

He walked out the back door of the conference room in incredibly light steps.

This room is actually flat with the office, separated by glass.

Luke appeared just across the street from the bandit, but he had no light, only a dark shadow, already in his gloved hands, and two steel balls hurled out.

Knock it off!

Two strange noises, the bearded man and a man with a gun next to him didn't even see the shadow, and passed out.

Luke pulled out his pocket again, threw it hard, and the steel ball knocked out another bandit sitting beside him.

He just grabbed the old man Aoki and quickly retreated.

You can't kill people, at least not for the time being.

This bearded man is obviously the leader. If he dies, the next group of bandits who took hostage number 40 and 50 don't know what will go too far, or ask Aoki about the old man first.

Luke's operation went fast, and Detective John hid under the table just saw two bandits suddenly fall down, and then a third bandit fell down, and then a shadow ran over and dragged Aoki away.

“What the hell?” John mumbled.

But moments later, his eyes lit up and he leaned over quickly. He took two of the weapons from the three men. When he just took off someone's shoes, the elevator door over there jingled, and the two bandits came in with a slight flush.

Detective John was shocked, barefoot cat waist, arms and shoes, and slipped through the safety door on the other side.

Luke took Aoki all the way to the 23rd floor and looked inside, it was a floor that was being renovated.

He put the old man down and presented him with his own ID: "LAPD, Detective Luke, Serious Crimes Unit. What the hell is going on here? ”

The old man calmed down his ups and downs and stomach and officially bowed to Luke: "Thank you for saving my life. ”

Luke waved, “I'm a cop, it's work. Cut the crap. What do you know about these guys? ”

Old man Aoki shook his head: “I don't know, the one headed by Hans, seems to be German, they came for the money in the underground vault. Mr. Luke, did you call the police? ”

Luke shook his head helplessly, and the old man didn't know much: “How many are they? Are they well trained? How many of you are being held hostage? You have to tell me this before I can report it to the police station and send backup. ”

Aoki hurriedly said what he saw, and Luke frowned.

Aoki is not familiar with the military, but he is a businessman with poisonous eyes.

It is easy to see that these people are not poor ghosts and are well dressed and equipped.

They also behaved in a more structured manner than the casual laziness of those black groups, and a few people's conversations revealed that they had a considerable degree of cultural education.

It all shows that these guys are not the kind of grasshoppers, they are professional bandits with well-defined goals and a detailed division of labour.

Luke frowned, “Can they open the vault at the bottom of your building? ”

Aoki shook his head: “Forget the first few doors. With some professional tools, you should be able to break them open in a few hours. But as long as you force the outside doors open, the innermost alloy door will automatically lock unless you have a password. ”

Luke: "Is that why they're after you? ”

Aoki nodded: “I guess so. ”

Luke shook his head slightly: "I just felt that Hans was really going to kill you, not kidding. So your password is not indispensable to them. ”

Aoki also frowned: “At the end of the door, the new electromagnetic protection technology is used, and ordinary means are difficult to open. ”

Luke didn't have much advice from Aoki, so let him find a place to hide and come back after the matter was resolved.

Aoki: "Aren't you going to call the police? ”

Luke nodded: “This is a bad signal. I'm going to find a place to call. Mr. Aoki, just hide yourself.” Then he got up and left.

Luke left the 23rd floor and returned to the 30th floor again.

This time, the bandit guard at the door disappeared.

But Luke also heard gunfire on the 34th floor.

He only heard gunshots when he had good ears and was in the quiet stairwell.

He was stunned: Who else is fighting the bandits?

He thought about it and went up to the 34th floor to make sure there was no one by the door, so he opened a gap slightly and looked inside.
