Super Detective in the Fictional World

Chapter 550 Chapter 568 Reward a New Task (3 more)

Flagg is taking four of his men, George and Christo, to a special prison car.

When he heard Luke's voice, he turned his head and a smile appeared on his face: "Well, thank you for catching them, Detective Luke. ”

Luke shrugged: “Minute things. Well, don't delay your work. ”

Flagg said, “Detective Luke, wait. ”

Luke stopped to turn around, looked at him, and stayed down.

Flagg said, "If you ever meet someone like George and Christo again, you can just let me know, you know? ”

Luke smiled softly: "Yes. ”

Flagg looked at his smile and couldn't help but say, “You two said they were caught by a man named Wade. You knew him well? ”

Luke shook his head and denied, "I don't know him, I know him well. ”

Flagg stunned: "Money? ”

Luke: “Money, cash, money, that's all he admits. ”

Flagg nodded dumbly for a moment, grinning: "Well, that's true. I'll leave you alone, then. Bye. ”

I saw Luke leave, Flagg got on another SUV, and the driver couldn't help but say, "Captain, this young man is really nice, dig it up. ”

Flagg sighed: "You think I don't want to? Too much trouble. ”

One of his men drove up to the front of the convoy and said strangely: "No way! Would it be hard for us to dig someone up from the police station? Unless he refuses himself. ”

Flagg: "He's the best detective in the West End Police Department, or even the LAPD, and nobody in the West End wants to let him go. Secondly, he's also very rich, and I've looked at his profile before, millions of dollars in innocent assets. Finally, he and his partner, Pepper Potts of Stark Group, came out and transferred to LAPD. You know who she is, right? ”

My men were surprised: "Tony Stark's personal secretary? Luke is Stark's man! ”

Flagg nodded bitterly: "You know why I didn't move him? It's not just us, it's several departments, including the FBI and some CIA operations, even on the Welsh side. But it's not that easy to dig people out of Stark's private hands. ”

My men didn't say a word.

The Stark Group may not be the richest in the United States, but it has deep ties in town capitals, the military and the Department of Defense.

Nobody's willing to touch Stark for a little detective, and that guy starts a racket, and nobody gives a shit.

He pointed at the other person's nose and yelled at stupid pigs, all of which were expensive “hands."

More often than not, a young man only cares for the mentally handicapped and despises each other.

It is easy for the other party to develop a deep sense of weakness because of their lack of intelligence.

Who made Stark a super genius? Who made him super rich?

Luke went into the CID lobby and went to Elsa: "Boss, the two suspects who tried to kidnap Tony Stark were taken away by the FBI, you know? ”

Elsa nodded: "Yes, they did. ”

Luke, hey, hey, smile. “Bureau, aren't you afraid of the young man getting mad? ”

Elsa: “The FBI communicated with the Stark Group before bringing it in, you understand? ”

Luke shrugged: “Fine, I'm out. ”

Elsa: "Wait. ”

And when Luke stopped, she said, "The boss said, you did a good job on the case, so I got you a new assignment. ”

Luke waited.

Elsa didn't have time to argue with him: "You know the Stark Industry Fair is coming soon? ”

Luke nodded: "Yes, it's officially opening in two days. ”

Elsa: "So you and Selena were temporarily transferred to plainclothes security around the venue. ”

Luke's face pulled down: "Is that punishment? ”

He was on this security mission in Houston, or was it something that Berik's cheap bastard had to do with putting on his shoes?

This kind of task is typical of hard work, and leakage is responsible, and should be done well.

Critically, this task requires working hours in the room, not lazy, but not necessarily more experience points.

Elsa: "You think I would? The chief doesn't either, but Chief Brad's talking. What do you say? ”

Luke held up his forehead and said, "Did the big boss ever ask this little thing himself? ”

Elsa: “It didn't matter, but when the FBI came to bring George and Christo, it was from his program. ”

Luke turned his head. Got it.

Why did Brad do this is because the police and the Stark Group's internal security issues arise in the course of every show.

In fact, the Stark Industry Fair rarely happens, but there are too many problems with coordination and peeling.

Chief Brad may have thought that one of the two detectives was very close to Stark and simply sent them to deal with this troublesome business.

Luke has nothing to say about this mission either.

Can he still go and tell Director Brad, "I don't really know Stark”?

He and Selena still had to take this new assignment and go directly to the site to inspect the environment.

Stark's exhibition, which is a routine event, is held within 35 years, depending on the circumstances, and is generally chosen between March and June of the year to showcase new products that have been developed to make it easier for customers to buy them and kill more people.

The Stark Group's main business is arms weapons, and its main product is high value-added machines such as missiles.

Others, such as firearms and conventional heavy weapons, are relatively few, but not non-existent, and occasional conceptual soldier weapons attract a large number of firefighters.

This is also why law and order in Los Angeles has deteriorated during this period.

Every time LAPD arrives, a portion of the police force is drawn from the precincts to assist in policing the Eastern precincts.

Those who really buy missiles, they don't have much time and opportunity to go to the streets and make security cases.

And those armored fever buddies are third-class, black and gray, and they're the main force behind the deterioration of law and order in Los Angeles.

George and Christo, for example, were supposed to come to the fair, but because of an anonymous hire, Christo, encouraged by George's connection, temporarily fled to kidnap Stark.

Strangely enough, they didn't kidnap Stark for ransom, nor did they intend to kill him. They just wanted to imprison him for 10 days until the fair passed and let him go.

Luke was not surprised by this strange kidnapping.

Often the backbone of large groups disappears, and perhaps major events are missed, with some benefits for other competitors.

Anyway, just try it out with two retards who aren't sober. It's cheap and risk-free, and many people don't mind doing it.
