Superman

Chapter 400 - Green Lantern Corps, Senesto

"You could have just killed them all."

After exiting Metropolis' secret base in style, the group followed the sewers to the ground, and Batman looked over at Luke, who was pulling the ribbed Superman along with him to sunbathe.

With his powers of observation, and his own knowledge of psychology.

It was easy to determine that the Kryptonian ships, the cosmic war, it was all a lie.

I'm afraid that General Lane didn't fully believe it, but was just forced to find a step down by the pressure Luke gave him.

Politicians, bureaucrats, what moral character they are.

Once Gotham's biggest capitalist, Thomas Wayne couldn't have known better.

"That's right, all I have to do is exhale gently, and those who stand in my way will turn to ice cinders."

Luke's lips turned up in a curt reply.

"Or, with the slightest movement of a thought, you can make the atmospheric pressure squeeze their heads off."

Barry, who was supporting the ribbed Superman, heard Luke speak so cruelly, and his face was a little unnatural.

The Kryptonian first cousin's temper seemed a lot more violent than the very talkative Clark.

"But who's to say I'm a nice peace-loving guy."

Luke grinned, his eyes sincere.

He didn't need to create an image of violence for the Flash by creating a senseless killing.

Everything in the Flashpoint world would be corrected afterwards.

When they returned to the main universe's dimension, no one else would remember the catastrophe.

But not Barry, as the one who started Flashpoint, and the one who saved it in the end.

Everything that happened will be burned into the brain.

As the conscience of the Justice League, expecting the Flash to identify with an indiscriminate killer is basically a fantasy.

As such, Luke has greatly exercised restraint, allowing himself to act as much like a positive character as possible.

The persona of Krypton's first cousin was going to continue.

It's a lot brighter than being a stowaway.

"Good guy ......"

Batman silently stopped speaking.

He could tell that it wasn't what the other man was thinking.

If it had been normal, Thomas Wayne would have seen this Kryptonian as the most dangerous bomb in the world.

Because the other side was incredibly powerful, and did things to warrant caution.

But right now things were different, and the crumbling, twisted world of Flashpoint needed to be corrected.

Whatever kind of person Luke was, it was none of his business.

Let's leave these problems for Bruce to solve.

So thought the bat grandma.

"Big cousin, of course he's a good man."

Luke's confession was confirmed by both Barry and Ribs Superman.

Especially the latter, who saw the long-lost and reunited first cousin as a complete savior.

"The sun ...... is wonderful."

The weakness in the Rib Superman's body was being erased.

Strands of radiant light, like droplets of water, permeated in from the surface and were then absorbed cleanly by every cell.

The pale skin, at a rate visible to the naked eye, gradually emerged with blood.

"It's about as strong as it was when I first became Superman."

Luke, through his super vision, swept over Kal-El's thin body.

The guy absorbed sunlight and reacted with the cells in his body far faster than he had been able to at the time.

As the only natural human before the destruction of Krypton, Kal-El's own potential was hard to estimate.

Even though he was locked inside the fortress and living under the light of the red sun, he still showed great adaptability and learning speed.

"Unfortunately, there are still flaws."

Luke realized that after fusing several Superman templates, the Red Sun light, kryptonite, magic, and other attacks had minimal effect on him.

Having just been directly exposed to the red sun's rays, he hadn't even felt any discomfort himself, at most, he was just a little uncomfortable psychologically.

"How could the older cousin lose to the younger cousin."

Luke smiled with satisfaction as the bio force field enveloped everyone and slowly rose into the air.

Not far away on the destroyer, General Lane witnessed the scene with a strange look in his eyes.

"What's the status of the third experimental body?"

He dialed the satellite encrypted phone and asked with a heavy face.

"There's a growing Kryptonian on this planet, and I need number three."

Looking at the figures disappearing behind the clouds, General Ryan showed great concern.

......

......

"Why didn't you take Clark back to Gotham instead of sending him to Midtown?"

Half an hour later, Luke and the others showed up at the Flash's apartment.

Barry changed out of his red uniform and used the Speed Force to move around the kitchen, preparing a generous amount of easy lunch.

The Speedster needed a lot of nutritional energy after each run.

From Gotham's Wayne mansion, to Metropolis, and then back to Midtown, such a long drive had already left a hunger in his belly.

Barry, at this point, felt like he could eat an elephant.

"That weather in Gotham, can he get a tan?"

Luke leaned back on the couch and asked rhetorically.

Rib Superman had made arrangements to rest in the guest bedroom of the apartment, and the poor little cousin had fallen asleep with a happy and contented face after getting enough sun.

"Well, you've got a point."

Barry was speechless, chewing on a famished energy bar.

Gotham's weather seemed to be covered in cotton gloom and rain all year round, and it was rare for it to be sunny.

"By the way, Barry, do you know anything about Hal Jordan?"

Luke casually turned on the TV, watching the news and engaging in idle chatter.

"Hal ...... he's now a test pilot for Ferris Air and didn't get married to Carol or get that green light ring."

Barry quickly made a dozen sandwiches and swept them away.

The life of the good gay man had likewise changed.

Hal was still an adventurous, daring pilot, not a cosmic cop Green Lantern.

"Abin Sur didn't arrive on Earth?"

Luke was a little appalled and asked softly.

"I searched the news about it and found some unexpected clues."

Barry was quite attentive to the information about his good friend Hal Jordan.

"I heard Hal talk about his story of becoming a Green Lantern, and that Abin Sur was the greatest Green Lantern in the Corps, of all the Corps."

"But he was on a mission when he met with an accident and his ship crashed into Seaside City."

"Severely injured and on the verge of death, Abin Sur chose to give the ring to Hal, or rather, the Green Lantern, representing the power of the will, and found Hal of his own accord."

"That's how he became a Green Lantern,"

Barry rambled on, and then the conversation changed, and he frowned, "But in the world of Flashpoint, Abin-Su didn't die, he was saved by the cyborgs, and worked with the government, acting as a diplomatic ambassador."

"I saw the old papers and a picture of him with the President."

Luke's eyes twinkled, no wonder he had thought that General Lane was acting a little too calm about the existence of aliens, and alien civilizations.

So it was Abin Suh.

"So now what?"

Krypton's first cousin narrowed his eyes, he was interested in the emotional spectrum though.

If he waited until the chapters of the Lamp Corps lifted, which Lamp Ring would he be chosen by?

Anger? Will? Greed? Fear?

"I don't know, Abin Sur disappeared a long time ago, some say he left Earth long ago."

Barry shrugged, saying he wasn't sure.

Luke didn't ask any further questions, it was only on a whim that he thought of Hal Jordan, and the Green Lantern Corps.

......

......

Europe, a hotel somewhere.

Reverse Lightning clasped his hands on his chest and looked down at the city below him.

"What a world to stay in."

He commented so.

The trajectory of a superhero's destiny is altered and the supercriminal shakes his way to become a beloved celebrity ......

The funniest thing was that there was no Flash in this dimension, only Barry Allen.

"That's delightful."

This was a complete cause for celebration in Reverse-Flash's opinion.

His feelings for the Flash are complicated, a mixture of adoration, jealousy and disgust that turns into a twisted rivalry.

"Superheroes trying to save their mothers ...... uh-oh!"

Reverse Lightning knows exactly how this all came about.

The murder of his mother is a void inside Barry that can never be filled.

So, deep in the past and inescapable, the Flash.

One day he broke through the time barrier and opened the wormhole between the past and the future.

It's like a calm lake that casts a stone and it ripples along that center.

It starts with the family and friends around Barry, then expands to the Justice League, and the entire world.

Everything was changing, everything was changing.

Reverse Lightning could even see the aftermath of the effects thus triggered, still radiating outward.

"The multiverse is at stake, but what does that have to do with me."

He laughed out loud.

As a Speedster, Reverse Lightning's stronghold was in the future, located in the upper reaches of the long river of space-time.

The great crisis of the multiverse would have minimal effect on him.

"I can't wait to enjoy the look on Barry's face when he realizes he's ruined the world!"

Reverse Lightning thought with malice.

"Elberd Swan?"

Suddenly, there was a voice that broke Reverse Lightning's smooth thought.

Almost immediately, he entered the God Speed Force state.

What came into view was a strange fellow in a green uniform with crimson skin.

"Which one are you?"

Reverse Lightning's heart was overflowing with murderous intent, and he was going to hide himself well from anyone before this world went to ruin.

"My name is Tal Senisto, a soldier of the Green Lantern Corps."

The strange guy who had appeared in the hotel room without a word gave his name.

"I'm here for the Flash!"
