Superman

Chapter 438 - Love Education, Fist of Justice

A dozen kilometers away from the town, in a densely wooded cave, archaeologists are carefully studying clusters of green ore "growing" on the rock wall.

"It is more strongly radioactive, with high energy readings, similar to gamma rays and X-rays, and can penetrate objects and living things ......".

An old man with white hair was resolving this novel mineral with the help of various instruments.

"Fortunately, Mr. Cavell had warned us to collect it in a lead container, otherwise it might have been harmful to humans after prolonged exposure."

The archaeologists pouring in behind them, as well as the workers carrying the instruments, were all wrapped in a thick layer of clothing similar to a protective suit.

The surface was covered with lead skin, designed to prevent the radioactive energy of kryptonite from penetrating the cells and causing the body to mutate.

"Heh, I just happen to know a little bit about it,"

Luke waved his hand modestly as he walked into the cave, symbolically dressed in a protective suit.

The ubiquitous radioactive energy was squeezing in like a wave.

If Luke had been replaced by his younger cousin Clark, he would have been so weakened by the kryptonite that he would have been unable to walk in a few seconds.

It was a Kryptonian's hell here.

Even breathing had become a deadly act.

"Professor Bass, according to the agreement we have signed, this is a private exploration operation, so everything found during the expedition will belong to the Walt Company."

Luke touched the fluorescent glowing kryptonite with his hand and reminded him softly.

"Of course, Mr. Cavill has generously sponsored us, so it makes sense that everything found during the expedition must belong to you."

These green ores were unprecedented, and according to the analytical data from the instrument, their composition did not even appear on the periodic table.

If he could carry out in-depth research, he could have written more than a dozen world-shaking heavyweight papers.

He might even have been able to prove that civilizations and life still existed beyond Earth.

Regrettably, Walter's family is a big one.

A mere archaeology professor at the University of Michigan can't possibly compete with a huge corporation.

Reality is not a Hollywood movie, and it would be harder for a nobody to overthrow the big guys than to get to the top, at least with the help of spaceships and rockets.

"Can I keep a piece as a souvenir?"

Professor Bass asks cautiously.

"This is probably the most valuable exploration find of my archaeological career."

Luke nodded, not refusing.

The kryptonite on this set was like the vibrating gold of the Marvel Universe next door.

It sounded precious and rare, but it was actually quite popular, almost like a handful.

Except for Lex Luthor, who knows how to synthesize kryptonite, and Batman, a kryptonite collector.

Almost every villain who has faced Superman has used it against Clark.

And it's been effective, repeatedly.

"I'll have someone on hand polish up an ore to give to the professor as a gift."

Luke smiled slightly, small particles of kryptonite had no effect on ordinary people, otherwise Clark's crush Lana would have mutated long ago.

As for whether this act of generosity would cause trouble for his younger cousin, it was no longer his concern.

Anyway, according to the Omniverse's will, Superman will always be the first guy to fall off the line in a Justice League battle, and it doesn't matter if the kryptonite is targeted for this tactic.

Targeted or not, he doesn't show up on the team's battlefield, at least not for every big event.

And many of the villains, led by Lex Luthor, have always had all sorts of kryptonite weapons at their disposal, such as gloves, spears, and the like.

There is also the use of red sun spotlights, charm magic, mind control ......, and many other means.

This causes Superman's combat power to fluctuate between a very high ceiling and a very low floor.

Sometimes even second-rate villains like Swamp Monster and Poison Ivy Girl can easily defeat them.

But sometimes even powerful beings like Darkside and Mandrake are defeated by Superman head-on.

Of course, no matter how many newer versions there are, Batman will always be a god.

"Most of it is green kryptonite, aren't there any other kinds?"

Luke's super vision was extremely limited in the cave, and the radioactive energy formed by the large amount of kryptonite was like a hazy layer of fog, creating a blurred sensation.

This is probably why he didn't find the cave in the first place.

The leaking radioactive energy acted like a perfect shield to escape his search.

If not for the information provided by the unfortunate bank robber, it would have been difficult for Luke to find the place.

Wearing his protective suit, he continued deeper and deeper until he reached the end, but there was nothing else he could find.

Luke shook his head, a little disappointed, but a pink kryptonite would have been fine.

It was said that that stuff could change the sexual orientation, or gender, of Kryptonians.

If that was true, then Luke wouldn't mind having another cousin in addition to Supergirl Kara.

Or maybe a big wedding for Superman and Batman, which would be much more exciting than the royal wedding of the gods in Asgard on the set next door.

"I'm definitely bringing the Marvel Universe to the drawing board here,"

Luke laughed, shaking off the strange thoughts in his head.

In the DC world, it's not a good sign to be thinking about funny stuff all the time.

It needs to be a little darker to fit in.

Luke gave the crew a few casual words of advice and turned to leave the cave.

He learned the exact location of the Kryptonite cave from the paraplegic bank robber before Lex did.

When he was sure it was true, he sent an archaeological team straight here for further in-depth study.

The formation of kryptonite is actually the result of the destruction of a planet, when a certain substance becomes radioactive in a huge explosion and eventually condenses into an irregular crystal-like mineral.

They fell to Earth along with the spaceship that carried Superman.

The meteorite rain in the town seventeen years ago was a manifestation of the disintegration of a huge kryptonite stone.

"Lex seemed to be trying to get some useful information out of that unfortunate guy.

Luke, who flew up into the air some distance away, was a bit scattered in his thoughts.

The little things that Lex thought he was hiding were actually in his eyes.

Apparently, his own godson had grown suspicious of his good friend Clark.

"Well ......"

Luke is pondering what he should do if the friendship boat between Lex and his younger cousin capsizes.

Suddenly there was a murmur of explosions and screams in his ears.

Luke frowned slightly, and in an instant he was transported to the top of town.

Surprisingly, he saw Clark, dressed in a Superman uniform, walking down the street.

The red cape fluttered hungrily, and his eyes burst with red light, creating a hot beam.

Boom!

A parked car was directly ignited and detonated, releasing a roaring flame.

"What's going on here?"

Luke is confused, as this is probably the first time since his arrival that an event out of his control has occurred.

His younger cousin, Clark, became the source of panic, the perpetrator of havoc.

If he hadn't known better, Luke might have thought he was on the set of the League of Injustice.

It was unnatural!

"Clark ......"

Luke didn't dwell on the surface covering Superman's suit and landed in front of his younger cousin, ready to stop the destruction from continuing.

For superheroes like Superman and Batman, hurting others and taking lives has always been the beginning of blackness.

This has already been proven by the Batman Order of the Dark Multiverse.

It may sound nonsensical, since the Marvel Universe next door doesn't even show Captain America any mercy on the battlefield, but he is still the spiritual embodiment of absolute justice.

But such silly questions are usually attributed to willful influences above the Omniverse, and there are no serious answers.

Superman, who killed the Joker, created the League of Injustice.

Batman, who killed the Joker, became the Laughing Bat.

--Well, the source of the problem is found.

The culprit is the Joker.

"Do you know what you're doing?"

Luke's voice rang out directly in Clark's brain.

The latter's dark pupils glazed over and looked at a familiar figure not far away.

"Kill him! You're the most powerful person in the world!"

"Any stumbling block that stands in the way will be trampled to pieces!"

"......"

The negative personality created by the black kryptonite seemed to dominate Clark's spiritual will.

He hesitated, struggling violently within himself.

But before the two personalities could decide, Luke took a step forward and the ground blossomed with cracks.

With a powerful recoil, he forced himself in front of Clark.

Boom!

A dull ringing sound.

It was like a thunderclap exploding in the clear sky, rolling and reverberating far and wide.

Clark stared at it with wide eyes, seemingly in disbelief.

Then his body flew up and hit the ground with a heavy crash.

Boom Boom!

Clark struck through a wall behind him, and the whole man was pressed against the ground with that ample force, plowing a deep furrow.

"Big cousin actually hit me?"

A normal personality, briefly awake, expresses extreme shock and emotion.

Normally, shouldn't Luke try to wake him up, telling him of the good old days while enduring his stormy attack and never fighting back?

Why did you just do it without even trying?

The questions that crossed his mind were quickly swallowed up by the fury of the negative personality.

Clark braced himself on his hands and climbed up from the hard ground.

He threw his head back slightly to remove the buzz of brain concussion.

On the right eye socket, a visible bruise appeared.

"Kill him! There must be revenge!"

The fierce, ruthless impulses took hold of Clark's heart.

He grunted, and his feet gave out.

Like a gust of wind from the ground, it exploded with a roar.

The red cloak pulled out of the shadows and rushed straight toward Luke, who was spaced a block away.

"I told you many times, Clark! Don't think about face-planting if you move slowly and do little damage!"

Luke wrote off the fact that his younger cousin from Krypton, who had been in the sun for seventeen years, posed no threat at all to him now.

The biomechanical field opened up abruptly, slightly slowing Superman's form.

Then, he lifted his right leg.

Boom!

Huge tremors!

It was like a bomb detonating in the air.

The air fluctuates violently as far as the eye can see.

It was like waves rolling out of the sea.

Clark's face was swollen, as if he had gotten fat.

Then, he flew backwards faster than he had come, and there was a footprint on his face.

"Don't worry, I'm experienced in dealing with the brainwashed, blackened victims of those."

Luke smiled a kind smile and said softly, "I used to have a friend named Barnes, and he was able to regain himself and his original memories with my effective treatment."

For some reason, Clark's negative personality was scared to hear his cousin's comforting words.

A punch plus a kick from the other side had made him realize that maybe he wasn't the most powerful person in the world.

"You, don't come over here."

Boom, boom, boom ......

Luke said as he moved forward and took a step.

It was like hitting a hammer on Clark's heart and making him feel turmeric.

Negative personalities are arrogant, arrogant, tyrannical, and like to bully the weak compared to their positive counterparts.

So when encountering an overly powerful, unbeatable opponent, it is easier to develop feelings of fear and doubt.

"What are you afraid of, as long as you trample me under your feet, no one can stop you anymore."

With a teasing smile on his face, Luke purposely didn't walk very fast.

He kept a close eye on Clark with eyes in which there was a look of indifference.

Invisible pressure enveloped his younger cousin, who rolled his throat twice and shouted with some color, "You take one more step, and I'll kill everyone in this town!"

"Then let it go! Don't scruple!"

Luke shrugged his shoulders and acted indifferent.

"By the way, cute little cousin, you don't think I'm any good, do you?"

Clark, whose body was dominated by a negative personality, was left speechless with a soft laugh full of sarcasm.

According to the memory preserved in his brain, his first cousin had indeed never said anything about the Jungian teachings that made him want to save the world and protect mankind.

Luke mentions more about how to fight, how to defeat his opponents, and how to avoid getting hurt than his adoptive father Jonathan, who likes to say positive quotes. ......

"Oh, see, the older cousin you admire is actually a selfish little man ......."

Clark's negative personality snickered, only to have a few odd looks appear on his face afterwards.

As a villain, it seemed a bit offensive to rebuke someone in a righteous manner.

"You can unleash your desire to kill and hurt those innocents all you want, then press their blood on my head - only if you can do it,"

Luke said calmly, but his eyes became so fierce that they hit Clark like a knife blade, making him subconsciously cringe.

Boom!

The dark red cloak was suddenly fluttering, and the suffocating wind pressure was terrifying, sweeping through the streets on both sides.

Parked cars tumbled out of the way, and a lot of smoke and dust rose up.

Luke's face was nowhere to be seen on the hard, cracked ground.

Suddenly, Clark felt a strong hand on his face, dead on his face.

It was as if he had been hit head-on by a speeding train, and the pressure was so great that his entire body wailed in pain.

"Let go ......"

Before the violent voice could be heard, Clark was taken up into the air.

Boom!

Speed breaks the sound barrier!

"Clark, I don't know what's going on or what it would take to wake you up right away."

Luke carried his little cousin in his right hand and quickly made his way out of the atmosphere and into outer space.

"So, I'm going to have to resort to more brutal means."

"Good luck!"

Luke let go of his right hand and kicked his younger cousin in the chest.

It was powerful and unforgiving.

Boom!

The other side is like a falling meteorite, rubbing against the atmosphere and bringing out a red tail flame.
