When Wang Cuixia saw Xu Ke like this, she suddenly didn’t know what to say. She really had no way to deal with this son of hers.
This guy is the president, yet he’s acting like a hands-off shopkeeper, handing all the work over for her to do.
The key thing is, Wang Cuixia can’t really complain too much. After all, this concerns the company’s future development; he can’t just sit back and ignore it.
Since he’s now reached the position of company director, that position was originally meant to handle these things. Xu Ke doing this is, strictly speaking, understandable.
But the more Wang Cuixia thought about it, the more aggrieved she felt. Normally, sons are supposed to help share their mother’s burdens, yet her son not only doesn’t share her pressure, he even dumps everything onto her.
No, she has to make this brat pull his weight, otherwise his tail is going to be sticking up to the sky in no time.
"You little brat, I can take on all these operations for you. But you also have to produce something, otherwise I just won’t feel balanced in my heart."
Xu Ke was a bit surprised by Wang Cuixia’s words. How did his mom suddenly sound like a child?
But he quickly understood. Even though he’s the president, at the end of the day he’s still a son.
In the company, their relationship is a bit inconvenient to deal with, but in some situations he still has to give his mother, Wang Cuixia, some face.
"Alright, alright. Just say directly what you want me to do."

Lately their finance department has been a bit short-staffed. The newly hired people are expected to need about a week before they can start work. During this period, the finance department absolutely can’t afford any mistakes.
So Wang Cuixia was thinking of asking Xu Ke to transfer some people over for her, at least to help them get through this week. Otherwise, she really wouldn’t know how to handle such a huge workload.
"You brat, you’ve seen the situation in our finance office. We’re really short on manpower right now. If you really want to do something for us, then transfer more people to us. I know those new hires will need at least about a week before they’re on board. And after they start, they’ll also need a long time to adapt. Xu Ke was already aware that the finance department’s current state was indeed a bit worrying, especially after that whole incident with Wang Lishan. Following that, Wang Cuixia did a complete reshuffle of the entire finance department.
The ones who remain now are all people Wang Cuixia trusts.
Xu Ke did a rough estimate in his head: the finance department still needs about 20 more people.
But the other departments in the company simply can’t spare 20 people.
And even if they could, those people don’t know the stuff involved in finance.
So to solve this, it looks like he can only think of solutions from outside.
"Mom, I’ll agree to this. I’ll get everyone together for you within today, and tomorrow morning I’ll have them come straight over to start work."
Seeing Xu Ke agree so readily, Wang Cuixia immediately pulled Xiaoya over.
"Child, hurry and come over here. This is our company’s president, and he’s also my son. In the future, the finance department will eventually be handed over to you, so you should build a good relationship with my son."
This was the first time Xu Ke looked directly at Xiaoya. He suddenly realized that the girl in front of him seemed really introverted. She didn’t dare raise her head at all, obviously very nervous.

Xiaoya never imagined that Wang Cuixia would say something like that at this moment.
She’s only just 24 this year; she’s never even thought about dating.

Right now Xu Ke felt like his head was splitting; he really didn’t want to keep talking with Wang Cuixia about this.

Finally back in his office, Xu Ke let out a big breath.
His mom really loves stirring things up. Is it because she knows he’s finally a bit relaxed lately and is deliberately trying to find more things for him to do?
Where was he supposed to find a boyfriend for Xiaoya? He doesn’t even know most of the people in the company.
Since he’d just promised Wang Cuixia to transfer staff to the finance department, Xu Ke started working out a plan.

In the capital, the Xu Group headquarters only has this one location.
But in various key regions, they’ve also set up subsidiaries.
Each subsidiary has its own business, and they almost never interfere with one another.
But whenever help is needed, they’ll still try their best to support each other. After all, they’re all part of the same company—they’re always running into each other anyway.
