Chapter 2788: Tai Chi Diagram
Su Yang walked among the trees, wandering back and forth, without discovering anything special.
Helplessly, he could only summon the Power of Earth again to search.
The Chaos power emerged and directly traveled through the forest.
Following the Chaos power, Su Yang ran for a long time and finally arrived at a clearing.
In the center of this clearing, there was a giant pit.
Su Yang cautiously approached the pit and looked down; he was instantly stunned.
At the bottom of the pit was a giant Tai Chi Diagram occupying the entire pit.
However, this Tai Chi Diagram did not separate Yin and Yang, but rather space and chaos.
The Yang side of the Tai Chi Diagram was space, and the Yin side was chaos.
Space and Chaos were distinct here, yet interconnected in this area.
Su Yang observed clearly that where they connected, space and chaos continually transformed into each other. Space turned into chaos, and chaos turned into space, with their total quantity remaining unchanged.
Moreover, there was a space dot within the chaos, and a chaos dot within the space, just like a true Tai Chi Diagram.
Su Yang was dumbfounded; how could he have imagined that such a thing existed in such a place?
What was the situation with this Tai Chi Diagram? Why was there such a diagram within the chaos?
Why hadn’t the space in chaos been assimilated by it? Moreover, how had it formed such a distinct Tai Chi Diagram?
In his confusion, Su Yang suddenly discovered a mass of darkness above the Tai Chi Diagram.
This darkness was hiding in the corner of the pit. Compared to the giant Tai Chi Diagram, this darkness was so small that an ordinary person wouldn’t notice it.
Su Yang’s eyes widened; wasn’t this the darkness he had been searching for?
A green stem extended from the darkness, piercing into where chaos and space connected, seemingly extracting nutrients.
Furthermore, the darkness was now open. Su Yang saw clearly that there were several coffins inside the darkness.
Su Yang carefully counted and found a total of seven coffins.
The other end of the stem was embedded into those seven coffins.
Judging by the scene, the stem seemed to be absorbing nutrients from the chaos-space connection to sustain the beings inside the seven coffins.
Su Yang’s face was aghast; what was happening?
What’s going on with the Tai Chi Diagram? What’s with this darkness? And what does the stem signify? What do the seven coffins mean?
Su Yang had originally thought the people inside the darkness were the biggest secret. Only now did he realize there were far too many secrets to comprehend.
Staring down at the Tai Chi Diagram for a moment, Su Yang’s brows slightly furrowed.
Although he didn’t know what the seven coffins in the darkness were all about, there was no doubt that the contents of these coffins stood with the Guardian God.
This meant Su Yang absolutely couldn’t let them extract nutrients from the Tai Chi Diagram. Once those in the seven coffins emerged, the Human Clan would face extinction!
But the presence inside the darkness was so strong; how could Su Yang manage this situation?
After pondering for a moment, Su Yang suddenly turned his gaze to the stem.
He couldn’t deal with the coffins inside the darkness, but he could act on the stem. Cutting it would prevent them from extracting nutrients.
With this thought, Su Yang immediately drew out a Divine Sword he carried with him, attempting to sever the stem.
The sword whistled forth, slashing heavily at the stem. However, the sword couldn’t move the stem at all; instead, the stem shattered the sword into fragments, like shattered glass.
Moreover, the powerful force shook Su Yang as he wielded the sword, causing him to lose focus. Stumbling, he fell straight into the pit.
By the time Su Yang regained his senses, he was already above the Tai Chi Diagram. He scrambled to fly up in panic, not daring to approach the diagram.
He didn’t know what the Tai Chi Diagram truly was, but if even the beings in the darkness couldn’t enter it directly and relied on the stem to extract nutrients, it was clearly extraordinary.
Should Su Yang fall into it recklessly, who knew what might happen; he wouldn’t dare attempt such a risk.
He forcibly flew beyond the diagram’s boundary, standing above the pit with his brows tightly furrowed.
The stem’s strength had exceeded his expectations. Clearly, it was impossible to cut the stem; he needed another method to stop the seven beings in the darkness.
Since he couldn’t sever the stem, could he modify the Tai Chi Diagram?
Su Yang pondered for a while but couldn’t think of any method, so he summoned some of the Power of Earth to test the diagram.
As the Power of Earth descended, it slowly touched the Tai Chi Diagram below.
At that moment, the Tai Chi Diagram suddenly trembled, as if struck by a tremendous impact.
Before Su Yang could react, the Tai Chi Diagram began rotating swiftly, space and chaos fluctuating as if they were in a fierce battle.
Meanwhile, the dark mass extracting nutrients above was disrupted. Originally, it drew nutrients where chaos and space connected, but as the diagram fluctuated, the stem was displaced, moving in and out of the chaos and space zones.
With such changes, the seven coffins inside the darkness began to tremble as well, seemingly affected by something special, as if their occupants were about to emerge.
Su Yang stared intently at the seven coffins, eager to see who was inside.
However, the coffins ultimately didn’t open, and the beings inside didn’t appear.
The Tai Chi Diagram gradually calmed, and everything slowly returned to normal.
Though Su Yang didn’t understand what had transpired, it seemed using the earth method was effective. He summoned more Power of Earth and sent it down to the Tai Chi Diagram again.
Just like before, the diagram violently shook, causing the stem to move away from its original position, thus stirring the seven coffins.
But, as before, the beings inside the coffins did not emerge.
Undeterred, Su Yang continued to use the Power of Earth to impact the Tai Chi Diagram.
If nothing else, causing any effect on the seven coffins was worthwhile!
