The Supreme Dragon Emperor looked at the torn space and nodded. "Looks like that One-Eyed Dragon and the baldy aren’t that dumb after all. They actually thought of the same way as me to leave marks. I really underestimated them before!"

Su Yang, Ye Wantong, and the Eternal Divine Emperor were instantly speechless. How were they supposed to keep chatting like this?

"Since they left a mark here, that means they’re obviously not here anymore." The Eternal Divine Emperor said, "We still came a step late. Now if we want to find them, that’s going to be tough!"

"Not necessarily." Su Yang shook his head. "We can try to guess where they’d go after leaving here."

"How are we supposed to guess that?" The Supreme Dragon Emperor asked in surprise.

Su Yang shot him a glance. "Your wisdom is so amazingly high; figuring this kind of thing out should be a piece of cake, no?"

"Uh..." The Supreme Dragon Emperor scratched his head. "When it comes to wisdom, I’m definitely the real deal. But that doesn’t mean I can guess this. They can go in any direction, so how the hell do you expect me to know where they went?"

"With your IQ, maybe don’t talk to us about wisdom anymore." Su Yang curled his lip.

"Hey, what’s that supposed to mean?" The Supreme Dragon Emperor immediately got upset. "What, you going to make fun of me for never going to school again? You did go to school, right? Then tell me, where did they go?"

"He doesn’t even need to say it, I can guess it already!" The Eternal Divine Emperor couldn’t help chiming in.

"Then say it!" The Supreme Dragon Emperor glared. "I don’t believe your Human Clan IQ is that high. If you guess wrong this time, I’m telling you, from now on you admit honestly that going to school is useless!"

The three of them: "..."

"If it were you in this place, where would you choose to go?" The Eternal Divine Emperor fired back.

The Supreme Dragon Emperor rolled his eyes. "How should I know? If I knew that, wouldn’t I have guessed it already?"

"That’s the problem with you, you never put yourself in someone else’s shoes." The Eternal Divine Emperor said, "If you’d just think from their perspective, you could roughly guess where they’d go."

"How am I supposed to put myself in their shoes?" The Supreme Dragon Emperor still didn’t get it.

"Let’s use our previous situation as an example..." The Eternal Divine Emperor said, "Back then, when it was just the two of us there, why did we go looking for Su Alliance Leader?"

The Supreme Dragon Emperor said, "Isn’t that nonsense? Su Alliance Leader carries the Earth Principle, and he’s strong as hell. Plus, your daughter’s with him. If we don’t look for him, who else would we look for?"

The Eternal Divine Emperor said, "Then who do you think the Eye of Chaos and the Suffering Buddha would go looking for?"

"Uh..." The Supreme Dragon Emperor’s eyes suddenly went wide. "You mean they also went to find Su Yang? But Su Yang doesn’t have their daughters with him!"

"Who said you only go looking for Su Alliance Leader when your daughter’s there?" The Eternal Divine Emperor glared. "Based on their situation, they’ve got two options: either look for the people closest to them, or look for Su Alliance Leader. "What do you mean ’kinda’? It makes a lot of sense, okay?" Ye Wantong couldn’t help adding, "Uncle Dragon Emperor, can’t you learn a bit of basic knowledge next time?"

The Supreme Dragon Emperor said, "Hey, listen to yourself. You make it sound like I really don’t understand anything. I just don’t have as many scheming little tricks as your dad. I’ve always been bold and straightforward, how would I think about all these tiny little details?"

Ye Wantong immediately shut her mouth. There was no way to talk with a guy like this.

The Supreme Dragon Emperor also felt the mood was getting awkward, so he quickly changed the subject. "So you’re saying if we follow this direction and rush to where Su Alliance Leader and the others were before, we’ll be able to find them?"

"There’s a certain chance, but not necessarily." The Eternal Divine Emperor said.

"Why?" The Supreme Dragon Emperor glared. "Weren’t you analyzing everything so clearly just now? Why can’t we find them? Don’t tell me you don’t even believe in your own analysis!"

"But the key problem is, how long have we already been gone? From their distance to where Su Alliance Leader was, if they flew at full speed, they’d probably get there in about three years."

"And we’ve already spent four or five years. With that much time, they’d long since have reached the place where Su Alliance Leader was before."

"Once they get there and see no one, what will they do? Stay there waiting for us? Go somewhere else to look for others? Or simply start searching around the area?"

"We keep chasing in that direction. We might not find them, but at least there’s some hope." The Eternal Divine Emperor said softly. "And what I just described is the ideal case where they manage to fly all the way to where Su Alliance Leader was. But on the road, if they run into danger, get blocked by someone, they might not be able to reach that place at all. They might even end up somewhere else, and then they’d be even harder to find!"

The Supreme Dragon Emperor nodded slowly. "You’re right. When we went looking for Su Alliance Leader before, we got attacked by those Blood Shadows. Those two probably didn’t have it much better than us. If they got attacked by the Blood Shadows, they’d be stuck too!"

"That’s why things are not nearly as simple as we imagine!" The Eternal Divine Emperor sighed. "The situation in the Great World is getting more and more complicated. Even the Strongest can’t just run rampant anymore!"

The Supreme Dragon Emperor nodded vigorously. "Damn it, I’ve been cultivating for so long, finally became one of the Strongest, only to find out the Strongest can’t throw their weight around anymore. Isn’t that infuriating?"

After grumbling for a while, the four of them continued on their way, rushing in the direction where Su Yang and the others had previously been.
