Survival in Another World With My Master

Episode 002 - You Win (Flag)

If you can use the craft menu, there's nothing to be afraid of in the game of survival!

There were times when I thought so. [M]

"I couldn't throw a spear or an axe where there were tools, and I never dealt with bows and arrows."

In front of the fire are a number of tools crafted from handheld materials.

The stone axe is the first item to craft from stone and wood debris. In the meantime, stone axes. These are basically stone axes. It's like a promise.

This is amazing. An ideal stone axe with straight patterns and polished stone blades was created from just stone and curved wooden debris. This will cut the trees over time and break the head of the wildlife that attacked them.

Problem is, I've never done logging before, I've never fought wildlife before. Hahahaha!

Next is the Stone Spear. The materials are stone and wood chips. Yeah, not to mention, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.

This is not a polished stone blade, but the tip of a stone puncher that I think I made. It can be expected that the tip will penetrate the epidermis of the organism sharply and easily, damaging the internal organs.

The weight balance is not bad, and it seems suitable for both poking and throwing. I tried to throw it lightly, but it flew there and pierced the ground. For some reason, the tip wasn't missing, too!

If it is actually used, it would be better to prepare some bottles and throw them in succession. If it hits, the damage should be huge.

And an arrow with a bow and a stone bow. The bow was crafted from fine branches and grass that had grown there. Something like a vine is stringed, and it flies quite a bit when the arrow is guarded and released. The problem is that it doesn't fly straight, it doesn't hit the target. This will require practice.

It's a stone knife. Holds a wooden pattern on a sharp, well-polished stone blade. This cuts well. I have no difficulty cutting trees or grass. But durability is difficult.

The blade chipped when I got up and knocked the branch of the tree. You should treat it with caution. It's hard to cut myself.

"Well, I guess I can be a little relieved..."

Even the poor ones get a little peace of mind when they get a weapon. And you'll find something interesting.

"I see, getting a stone knife will give you more things to craft."

Yes, the availability of tools for processing has increased the number of craftable products.

By combining stone and wood fragments, they were able to make rough stoneware, but by combining stoneware, they were able to make a variety of miscellaneous objects using trees and plants.

For example, dishes such as wooden plates and baskets made from wooden and grass fibers were added to the craft menu. Among them are two that seem particularly useful.

"Wooden water bottle and conical firing set. This is good."

Nothing in particular about wooden water bottles, but the flip-fire set is great.

It's like I've evolved a conical firing technique. There is a body with a long shaft, and holes in the transverse tree are handled so that the shaft penetrates.

Both ends of the horizontal tree and the vertices of the shaft are connected by a string, and the shaft rotates left and right at high speed with great momentum simply by wrapping the string around the shaft and raising and lowering the handle. That friction creates a spark.

You don't know what I mean? My vocabulary is no more accurate. Search online. Anyway, I got the tools to light a fire easily.

I was able to make a crater from trees and grass, so I'll keep an amount of it there.

The inventory is very convenient.

It's also good to keep the tools you make in your inventory. A stone spear with a heavy stone blade, or a stone axe, is too much to walk with. Normally, I can't. The total of four sweatshirt pockets are two up and two down, such as what I can store myself. And my hands are already full.

Eventually there were three stone spears, one stone axe, twenty stone arrows in each bow, a firing device in a wooden water bottle, wooden debris and wooden skin that became a crater, and a stone knife. Then there is a shoulder hanging basket made of grass or wood fibers knitted to carry throwing stones.

I tried and mistakenly manipulated the menu, but in just three hours or so I was able to make this much equipment. If it's a novel of a different world transfer thing, this is undoubtedly a cheating ability...

"It's so plain."

Certainly a force beyond human intelligence. However, the only thing that can be done with this ability right now is that you can make poor tools without hassle. Because I'm a snake using tools, I don't feel like I have any cheating skills at all.

"It's perfectly backwards."

Anyway, I had the ability to give out whatever tools I wanted... and the emulation of half-survival games was quite plain.

Why halfway? This is because in games like this, we couldn't use the familiar god mode (invincibility & flight & material penetration), creative mode (unlimited use of materials), and console commands. I can't use a real cheat. How plain... but now this ability is my lifeline.

"Let's go to bed... from day one, it's just a night search or a death flag."

How to sleep safely on a tree was also solved with a craft menu and another new feature. We were able to make hammocks from grass and wood fibers. But can I install and operate a hammock I've never used? It could be solved by my ability.

Hmm, this is convenient.

By "using" the hammock, the installation mode is switched to display something like a stereoscopic image of a semi-transparent hammock. Move your gaze to the right place for the rest of the installation, and the hammock will be installed properly.

I climbed the tree using a two-stage jump and entrusted myself to a hammock that was set up to hide between the branches. It was only helpful that it wasn't too cold in the middle of the night... if it was cold at the level of freezing to death, it would have been troublesome.

"Ah, my hippocampus....."

Tomorrow's goal is water and food for now. I was worried that my hunger and thirst might prevent me from sleeping, but I was able to go to sleep right away because of my fatigue and hard work. Good luck tomorrow.
