Seeing Shen Kang about to call 110, the man became enraged and shouted:

Initially, Lu Jihan and Shen Kang had actively been coordinating with the injured party’s family.
However, the compensation amount offered wasn’t satisfactory to the other side; they demanded a corresponding fee for emotional distress.
"How much do they want?" Song Yinyin asked again.
Shen Kang frowned, "They’re asking for five million."
Five million?!
Song Yinyin was utterly shocked.
This price was indeed a bit ridiculous.
She pursed her lips and raised her voice to speak to the man:
"Sir, you really need to calm down. If you cause a scene and accidentally injure someone, you’ll only create trouble for yourself. Since you’re a friend of the injured party, you should prioritize the injured person. Making everyone unhappy isn’t beneficial for any of you, right?"
The man completely ignored her advice and, with a vicious look, raised a flowerpot and threatened Song Yinyin:

Song Yinyin finally couldn’t stand it any longer, "Who are you calling a profiteer?"

Shen Kang promptly took up her words, "That’s right. Our company will, as per the relevant procedures, cover all medical expenses and care fees during the injured party’s hospital stay. There will also be a one-time disability subsidy and disability allowance, among others. All of these are handled according to regulations."
The man listened, snorted coldly, and disdainfully said:
"In essence, you guys are just refusing to pay my brother five million, right? Tch, and to think your Mainland Group is a Fortune Global 500 company, but you can’t even afford a five million compensation? How pathetic!"
Clearly, this meant he was holding out for money.
Upon hearing this, both Shen Kang and Song Yinyin’s faces turned cold.
Especially Song Yinyin, her icy gaze was not the least intimidated as she stared straight at the man.
