Sword of Glutton Princess

Episode 11: The Magic Sword

After the tavern, "The Tongue Pavilion of the Big Shrimp" Roger, "I was returning to the Mani blacksmith with Belzevute's demonic nucleus.

"That was an early return, Dean. Sit in your chair and wait. I'll make you some red tea."

Mani, face-to-face at the front door, tries to go back to the back of the store.

I immediately lowered my head.

"Duh, what's wrong?

"I need a favor. Say no if you think I don't like it. I might get involved in something dangerous, and I don't have much of a companionship, so I can't have a consideration right away..."

"What..."

"With this Belzevute demon nucleus, will you strike the demon guide sword?

Mani blinked her unique cat's eye.

"That demonic nucleus as the material, the sword...?

"Oh, oh."

With his eyes open, Mani stared at the demonic nucleus of Belzevute, slowly raising his arms and pointing his fingers.

"What are you going to do, little girl? Don't you see it's disrespectful, such as pointing your finger at this concubine, the great great devil?

"Oh, no... I'm sorry. Um... Are you convinced that Mr. Belzebute over there?

"Uhm. My concubine can't even prepare her body by herself. It is just a talking figurine in its present state. Then it would have seemed more interesting to be a magic guide."

Blatantly, Belzebute says.

I was surprised when Belzevue suggested it too.

Indeed, just a demonic nucleus does not inherently aid in a person's magical activation.

Because Belzevute himself remained, he managed to have the role of a magic conductor reproduced in a pseudo fashion.

However, as a demon conductor, he's in an incomplete state, so he wasn't able to fully assist me either.

Perhaps it is sensible when it comes to the Belzevute of pleasure to be left with only the nucleus of demons and self, and only to obtain a temporary body by Demordi.

I'm not so sure I can break it off, but is this also the value of the Great Demon who has lived for so long?

I just had a problem here.

Unless you are also a more trustworthy blacksmith, you cannot deposit the Demon Nucleus of Belzevute.

It's difficult to be told around, and it could be carried away as it is or taken to the military.

Conversely, the risk of exposure is avoided if even the problem of blacksmithing can be broken through.

The magic of "Im" to appraise others' magic and to spread the information they know to third parties is regarded as a jurisprudence among adventurers.

It is not uncommon for a fine to be imposed, and in the worst case, it is written off from the Adventurer Guild roster.

Magic conductors greatly dictate the quality of the adventurer itself, and therefore are susceptible to jealousy and criminal activity.

Stealing, robbing, and rubbing are endless.

Even when recruiting hunting buddies (parties), they are enough to confirm the magic field they specialize in and their level.

That's not exactly the case if you were to be a noble magician like the whole kingdom knows, but it wouldn't be something I'd be aware of.

Besides... it was impossible for me to work on all the other materials and work costs immediately, as the Demon Nucleus was ready.

Rather than that, I don't even know how far ahead that would go in the present situation without the Magic Sword.

Even though I can work and give it back as long as I can build a magical guiding sword, I wouldn't have it taken seriously in a favela hauler with no credibility.

It's a bad story, but besides flattering Mani, there's no other way to recover from the losses in The Rat's Nest.

Mani puts his hand on his chin and thinks.

"... I'm sorry, but I've never done a blacksmith other than the inferior conductor. It is said that the difficulty of forging a demon conductor is proportional to the value of the material. I don't have the strength to take care of that nucleus."

"No, I can only ask Mani"

I immediately cut back on Mani's words.

But I can't imagine anyone else in the blacksmith within my reach who can handle Belzevue's demonic nucleus and hit a decent demon conductor.

"I'm glad Dean's counting on me, but that's not realistic. One of the metrics that determines the quality of a blacksmith is how far we can take advantage of the nature of the exorcism and bone fighting that has become the material."

Mouth like a mani is in trouble.

But even I've known Mani a long time.

That's all I know.

Regardless of the inferior demons and inferior warcraft, when they become more than median, it becomes difficult to figure out which metals have a high affinity with them and what magic formations to carve inside them.

Such a knowledgeable blacksmith does not live in a slum first.

You need to ask a popular blacksmith, and the cost of blacksmithing will jump, regardless.

Mani himself says he has low self-esteem and does not have the skills to do so himself.

But Mani must have that knowledge.

When she was a child, she said she took over the knowledge of her grandfather, the legendary blacksmith Gaven, via her father.

Mani has a solid personality, and at the time, he takes notes that his father didn't understand either, and then over the years he strives to understand that knowledge.

"I know best that Mani has some money available from the cost of living and is studying shopping for books around the ancient book hall and the fallout hall. I want to ask Mani."

Open your little mouth and look me in the eye like Mani was taken aback.

She is insulted to be the daughter of a ghetto, and requests for the creation of more than median demonstrators will not be sent to Mani.

But knowledge and enthusiasm should never be beaten by those blacksmiths there.

"... I don't know what to do. You haven't even returned the 10,000 Temis I loaned you long ago."

"Ugh..."

... Even if you sold Gilbard's spare demon nucleus and added my hand, it would be best to prepare a fight bone.

40,000 temis for other material costs, and 100,000 temis should be seen as the hassle of creating unusual demonstrators.

"Pfft, I'm kidding. No matter what you intend to do, support Dean's chosen path. I'm the one who said that. I can't deny the buyout side of my blacksmith skills, but I can't say no if they say so."

"Bye...!

Mani laughed and nodded.

"Fine, I'll create and take on a sword using Belzevute's demonic nucleus. I want you to leave it to me. I'll lend it to you… yes, I'll count on the future hero."

That's what Mani says like he's teared up.

"... I just don't think we have any such thing as phantom demon copper Oreicalcos, phantom silver Mithril, phantom gold or gorg, so we won't be able to fully draw on the power of the demon nucleus. If the nucleus is not handled clutterfully at the time of creation, it can be removed and used as part of another conductor. In the meantime, I think it would be easier if you thought about something in time."

The Phantom Demon Copper, Orecalcos, Phantom Silver, Mithril, and Phantom Gold, Gorg, are expensive metals, called the three major demon metals.

Demonic metals are words that indicate metals of value to mankind, mutated by the influence of odds.

It is common for conventional metals to be accidentally degenerate, influenced by the odds, solders and powerful warcraft of the land while sleeping in the deep ground for many years.

It is assumed that the alchemists who were able to produce these were also in history.

The phantom demon copper Orecalcos has the power to scratch magic, while the phantom silver Mithril has the power to cut off magic.

The Phantom Gold "Gorg" does not have such unusual properties, but is the heaviest of substances humans can possess and has a high degree of magic conductivity.

It is even said to be the most suitable substance for the magic conductor.
