Sword of Glutton Princess

Episode Four: The Hunting Grounds of Power Pride

Me and Mani, Edda hired a carriage to spend two days traveling, gathering information and resting in the nearest village before heading to the Power Pride Hunting Ground.

I was able to walk around for about two hours relying on a map from the nearest village and find a large crack in the roots of the rock walls behind the woods.

It is called the North Entrance to the Hunting Grounds of Power.

We were taught at the nearest village inn that the north entrance was the shortest route to the basement.

There is nothing more to be done for the first and second basement levels.

Let's just get to the basement three levels.

"Ok...... I also said at the planning stage that the target amount for this one is 700,000 temis"

Around ten foreheads for the fighting bones of the Demon Monkey (Marky).

"I've been strong enough, Dean. I used to say I just got 100,000 temis and I had a big shake. '

Belzevute makes tea.

... the magic conductor is going to have a lot of money.

Plus... the cost of the carriage cost more than I thought.

A high level of Demon Horse (AQO) that can be used as a carriage horse is of high value, and there are not many people who can use Demon Horse (AQO) to steer a carriage.

It costs 150,000 temis just to get back and forth from the carriage.

In order to take the original, I want to aim for nearly 700,000 temis.

He had a thoughtful face with his hands on his mouth as Mani looked at the entrance.

"... what's going on, Mani?

"No... just a little bit, I was just wondering. The villagers, they knew we were adventurers, and they seemed a little surprised."

I was a little hooked on that, too.

The "Power Pride Hunting Grounds" was an ideal hunting ground for intermediate adventurers who could hunt Class D Warcraft steadily.

The fighting bones of the Demon Monkey (Marquis) are supposed to sell high, and I didn't think there was a particularly troublesome problem with the Demon Labyrinth from what I looked into in the Adventurer's Guild.

It was noted as the biggest caveat that we are often attacked by Tooth Ghost (Auga), a powerful C-class warcraft on three levels, but with our strength today, Tooth Ghost (Auga) is not the opponent we can't fathom.

Rather, it would be a huge bonus if you could bump into a stand-alone fang ghost (orga) and a spare situation.

Fangghost (Auga) Bone Fighting is worth twice as much as Demon Monkey (Marquis) Bone Fighting.

I can cover the cost of the carriage in one piece.

"But there were obviously many shops and inns in the village aimed at adventurers... and it shouldn't mean that there aren't many adventurers challenging The Hunting Grounds of Power. I didn't even seem to talk about a major problem in the Demonic Labyrinth, and I guess I don't have to worry about that much. Maybe he was surprised because we were young."

Most adventurers are full of single-class D-beasts in the basement at best.

An adventurer who can even put his perspective on a Class C Warcraft crusade is clearly a small part of it.

Without Belzevue, it would be suspicious if I could have reached my present strength, even if it had taken me a lifetime.

Many adventurers over the age of thirty who can challenge The Hunting Grounds of Power are experienced.

If you think about it, you can also nod at the people in the village who were surprised to know we were adventurers.

"Let's go together. I guess I can't help but get lost now. The cost of the carriage is also high."

"Oh, oh... right"

... Edda poked me in the pain.

Though I was intent on going over it carefully, opening up a new hunting ground may be more risky than I thought.

Honestly, I can't really afford it right now.

If you go home like this, you'll end up raw Poat.

It comes to my attention that Belzevute is pinching the waste.

It won't be impossible to have Mani make gold by selling the ore he purchased... but I don't want to die imitating that.

Quickly go through the first basement level and try to reach the second basement level.

On the road I was able to tail three little ghosts (goblins) and one medium ghost (hobgoblins).

As usual, I open my lower abdomen with a demolition knife, take out the fighting bones, and collect them.

A total of 50,000 temis.

"Looks like it's time to get to the basement three levels.... This is where it's coming from."

Mani was illuminating his hand with a mana lamp and checking the map.

"All right, from here on out, be more careful than ever..."

That's when my Odd Sensing reacted.

Someone's approaching us.

I'm not too sure... but apparently, it's human.

There are three or more of them.

Perhaps we heard the sound of earlier engagements.

I know we're human, and even though we were far away, we're deliberately trying to make contact and turning back.

He seems to have been in the vicinity of the underground three tiers, so he should be at least a confident, quite an armed adventurer who can fight and win a C-class Warcraft.

If you can rub it... it'll be a pain in the ass.

"... an adventurer, there are more than three. Obviously he's coming towards recognizing us."

"That's... that's not peaceful."

Mani's face clouded.

Since contact between hunting companions (parties) in the Demonic Labyrinth is a seed of rubbing, it basically often moves to avoid it at the point of mutual perception.

Prey matches may occur, and above all, crimes in the Demonic Labyrinth are hard to detect.

... an adventurer who comes all the way out there is likely to be here to cause that rub.

"I see, you just have to give him back. It wasn't enough for prep gymnastics."

Edda pulled out the Magic Sword without hesitation.

"Keh, stop pulling the sword out yet!

I stopped Edda in a hurry.

If you set up a weapon, you will intimidate the target.

Possible hostiles, but I don't know if you're even thinking about taking their lives.

Some adventurers are assholes trying to take away the fighting bones by putting on the obsession and letting the force shine.

If that's the kind of guy you're after, it's much better if you give him the bones of the Middle-Ghost (Hobgoblin) fight to avoid the feud.

If you intimidate them, you may find yourself in a situation where you can't pull them off either.

Whatever... I can't judge their thoughts at this stage.

Some adventurers try to make contact and say hello first so that there is no rubbing later.

Speaking of details, there may be a money-making story and you're going to ask for help, or there may be a line where your buddies are in distress and trying to get help from other adventurers.

The adventurer's manners can vary slightly depending on the city and the Demonic Labyrinth, and it is still too early to make a determination.

I just don't think it's so sweet that I shouldn't run away because I might have a money-making story.

Because the risk is too much more scary than that.

But the trouble is... if you avoid it poorly, it could start out hostile or decide there's a dark spot behind it.

… besides the fact that the destination is an underground three-tier, it is more likely that we will face each other elsewhere than continue our exploration even if we flee here.

I don't want to hang out with unintentional groups of adventurers in a hierarchy where there might be fang ghosts (orgasms).

"... have a good outlook and let me hold it in a place with lots of escape. Mani, find me a route."
