Sword of Glutton Princess

Lesson 5: The Black Wolves

We decided to turn back first.

Ask Mani to look for a road with good prospects on the map and lots of escape routes.

That way, you can have a little dialogue with them safely.

If the other side is normal, he wants to engage in dialogue at a distance from the incompetent opponent.

The open streets should be mutually convenient.

"Assuming you're going to pack the distance... at that point, you can see it as a clear hostility... I think"

I'll explain how the two of us are going to move forward as Mani guides us.

"You should slash him then. Easy story."

Edda says pale.

... I'm afraid that Edda could really ignore negotiations and traction and slash me.

"... I wonder if we'd like to proceed with the story if we were to try to escape"

... If it's the most bewitching robbery, they should come after you've completely crushed the escape rather than after the person you run from, or come for an unintentional blow.

It's hard to imagine that they would set it up for us in such shallow waters because if we let one of them get away with it, the witnesses would survive.

You wouldn't be too afraid to crack your face if you were a bunch of bandits who aren't going down on the village or the city... but if those people are living in a 'hunting ground for a test run', there can't be any rumors.

So there's a strong line that's not a very hostile opponent, it should be.

"... I think it would be a good place to escape when you have to. If you believe in maps, you don't have to worry about going around."

Mani stopped at the continuation of the straight passage.

I nodded small too and stopped my leg.

After a short wait, three adventure-like people appeared across the straight aisle.

"You surprised me. I wonder what kind of a jerk the kid is."

A bald-headed man laughs.

A woman lined up on the side clasps her shoulders wide.

"... it was a loss to be back, Captain Garlock. I'm late for the detachment.... So, what do you want to do?

Called Captain Garlock, a big blonde man laughs with his nose.

The man had a large scar in the center of his face, hanging from his forehead to his lips.

... I am somewhat soiled and dirty.

If so, it doesn't look like a bandit.

"Ha, nothing to lose back there. It's our job to teach the harshness of the Demonic Labyrinth to both the wrong New American adventurers."

Garlock laughs at us and puts an abusive eye on us.

They don't seem to be members of the military... but they are some sort of organized group.

"Um, you guys..."

When I asked, the bald-headed man laughed.

"I didn't know you knew about us either. I thought you were here to sell fights, but they were simply ignorant."

... seems to be taking it lightly enough.

But the situation has generally swallowed up.

Apparently, there are people in the Hunting Grounds that are proud of their power, even the organization.

There are probably ten or twenty, not just these three.

... When it comes to the realm of implicit understanding, it's more about just gathering information and not coming in.

I should have heard more from Haydal.

"Ma... if you're both junior adventurers, you're like that. I am Mr. Garlock, the leader of the Black Wolves, a direct expedition at the Largin Chamber of Commerce. From now on, I'm going to carve it firmly into your heads."

… The Largin Chamber of Commerce is a leading chamber of commerce operating mainly in the city of Romaburg.

It is also a chamber of commerce that previously provided financial support to the Gamdon Deaths in the back.

I have an organization that uses your demon conductors, but I hear you were afraid to keep your eyes on the military or you did not provide support in terms of your strength.

"The foreground is long. Whoever you are, it's none of our business. Just state the requirements."

Mouth like Edda is irritated.

"Well... how dare an adventurer ask us that? I'm telling the kid to pull in because this is our territory..."

A bald man stepped forward.

If I wanted to, I wouldn't hate being in battle.

Garlock stretches his arm and stills the bald man.

"You guys pull tails because you're not good at it. Have you forgotten that Master Lagor pissed me off? Oh?"

When Garlock yelled, the bald man pulled back heavily.

... Lagor Largin is the president of the Largin Chamber of Commerce.

"Ma... that's why so many of my men are so silly and rough. So I went out to say hello so that I wouldn't rub it."

"... you came here to hang the threat because you're in the way of the hunt?

The Hard Trial Hunting Ground is a good hunting ground for veteran adventurers to gather odds as well as fighting bones.

I guess the Black Wolves don't want outsiders to reduce the number of prey.

Besides... even when it comes to exploring groups held by the Chamber of Commerce, they will have just assembled those who stand up in arms from among the adventurers in the end.

There would be a lot of rough guys, and I could easily imagine having a sense of downsight for free adventurers with no back shield, just like the military.

I don't think they're very good quality people.

"No, no, of course we don't have that kind of authority. Hey, but... as long as my men don't get ahead and do something, right?

In response to my question, Garlock narrowed his eyes and clasped his shoulders wide enough to fall in love.

Then he laughs and looks at me and Mani and Edda in turn.

"Besides, you kids are still early here in the first place. Even if we weren't here. I'm giving you advice to go home before you get hurt."

... tangled up by troublesome people.

The Black Wolves seem to have other detachments, which can lead to unexpected accidents if disrupted during exploration.

"Besides, over us is the Largin Chamber of Commerce, right? You don't want to turn to your enemies."

A bald man says, laughing at Niyaniya.

... you won't have to worry about this guy.

Speaking of direct reports, the Largin Chamber of Commerce shouldn't be free enough to bother to harass one adventurer with what they say.

I'm not monopolizing the hunting grounds with the intent of the Largin Chamber of Commerce to see how it goes, it looks like a rampage of the grown Black Wolves.
