Sword of Glutton Princess

Episode XII: Determining Contact

"Okay, I got my fifth bone fight..."

I wiped the flesh attached to the fighting bone and gave it to Mani with a knife for demolition.

"Well, shall we just get out of here? Is there going to be room to hide the body?

Mani asks as he puts his tools to his luggage.

Hopefully, the Black Wolves won't find any sign of us here.

It's dark in the Demonic Labyrinth, so if it's about the blood of your footprint, you're likely not to notice it.

Besides, if you can't even find a body that was slashed with a magic sword and chooses out a fighting bone, you can't even be sure it's the work of the adventurer.

As for that... I was feeling strange about the Black Wolves moving nearby.

"... I'm sorry to keep you in a hurry, but could you just take a moment to see how things are going? I'm uncomfortable with the signs."

When I told Mani, Edda gave me a muddled look.

"No way, it wasn't cod to delude me"

"Yes, no, I'm not! Really!"

It's just... the way the signs move is odd.

It seems to be in a hurry, but it stops and stops from time to time.

And apparently, they're looking for an exit, not us.

... I remember this way of moving.

Some of my people are seriously wounded.

I was also a hunting companion (party) accompanied as a haulier, and I had repeated experiences of walking with a severely ill companion in fear of ambushes of the Warcraft.

Perhaps these three are already in tough shape against the Demon Monkey (Marquis).

"The threesome...... looks pretty dangerous. If you're unlucky, you could be attacked by a bunch of demon monkeys (Marquis) and wiped out before you go up to the basement two levels. You might want to escort him."

Edda gives a blatant expression.

"You disagree. If you do that, you'll have less time to spend hunting. Besides, you didn't look like the people who would thank you?

"It sounds good when it comes to exploring groups held by the Chamber of Commerce... because in the end, they are just powerful gatherers. Most of them are rough adventurers. Besides, I've heard that there are adventurers in there who couldn't join the army because of their bad behavior. I know it won't be shady compared to the army, but I don't think it's going to return the expected response."

... Mani seemed to agree with Edda.

"When we were talking about Garlock, we were talking about the Black Wolves getting into a bunch, right? I guess I'm more likely to rendezvous with the rest of the group than I can get my eyes on the Herd of Warcraft. Whether it's the army or the Black Wolves, I think some people are reluctant to help us because we have the idea of being recognized as an adventurer."

The words of the mani are good too.

It is common for former adventurers who have joined the army to look down on their former companions.

I often hear stories in the Adventurer's Guild that even though I initially thought I wouldn't be able to think the same way, I'd really dye it because the surroundings are that kind of air.

The Black Wolves' guide users may also find it a disgrace to be helped by adventurers.

... Still, I don't think I can replace people's lives.

And only this time, it's safer to stay in contact.

"I'm sure I'm sweet...... but I think it's easier to keep a hand even in the sense of self-defense. Assuming you find out you abandoned them, you'll undoubtedly be able to get your eyes on them. Besides... I wonder if the Black Wolves were seriously injured because of some trouble in the Demon Labyrinth. If possible, I want to make sure of that."

The Black Wolves should be used to exploring this demonic labyrinth.

I hope it's just a mistake, but if it's an abnormal individual (unique) or a warcraft stash (monster pool), we should take this as a chance to pull back.

I can't say what my goal is.

I want to collect information.

Besides... I'm only talking about my emotions, and it's uncertain, so I can say it now, but for another reason.

"Maybe it makes sense... but I don't feel like giving them a hand."

Edda looks bitter.

"If that's Dean's decision, I'll go out with him. Of course, I'll give you my opinion, but Dean can hardly break it when this happens."

Mani chuckles and re-carries her luggage.

"... are you good with that?

Edda asks.

"That's okay. I told you, I don't want Dean to bend his way of life."

"If that's what a blacksmith does, there's no other way. I'll follow you."

"... bad, Mani, Edda"

I bow my head small.

"Whatever the less dangerous examples like this one... there are times when I really want you to avoid them when the risks are high."

Mani shrugged with his voice slightly lower.

"... ho, really bad"

Whatever it is, I decided to explore the signs of the threesome in Odd Sense and try to make contact here.

Pack the distance from the threesome with reference to the signs and the map.

Maps can be misguided and betrayed if you trust them too much, as there are few informants when they are also in the basement three-tier depths, but it is helpful.

There is a risk of bringing the Warcraft closer, but the light intensity of the mana lamp was maxed to show the threesome that it was human and free of hostility.

Eventually, in the aisle, I was able to make contact with the target threesome.

Two of the three men that came out were Garlock's men, Rob the Bald Head, and a badly loving woman.

There's one guy in there, a stranger.

A woman is out front as a scourge and alert, and Rob seems to be the most badly injured, walking with her shoulder borrowed by another man.

The leading woman lowers the tip of the magic sword that stood with her face flaunted.

The last time we broke up sucked, so I guess I wanted to express earlier that there was no hostility.

"... I lost it expecting it to be a detachment. This is a little unfavourable."

Mouth it like a disappointment.

"Ki, you were adventurers then! What, you're here to laugh at us!

"Fool, calm down, Rob!

Rob was embarrassed by the other as he tried to rumble.

... More so, I didn't think there were two of them then.
