Sword of Glutton Princess

Episode 59: Govin the Desolate

"You should come tomorrow! I'm saying it's annoying, just go home!

I hear Robbie cursing at the other man.

Mani walked up to us to make no noise.

"Dean, Mr. Edda, let's get out of the back door now. Celia's on her way."

I nodded small as I got lost.

Edda is still deeply scratched, and Odd hasn't recovered.

It is dangerous to travel outside in the present state.

But as it is now, it was only a matter of time before the villagers entered.

"Are you trying to tell me that Nong is hiding the arranged adventurer? Where's the reason for that!

"Then come on, Mr. Robbie. Why don't you just hide and tell me why you're still desperate until your voice is absurd in the middle of the night?

"Hide, hide, hide!

Robbie seemed to dare make excessive noise and try to buy me some time.

I just have to leave here between now and now. Not if you're making every extra problem.

"Hey, hold Grandpa against the wall!

Then there was a blunt sound.

I tried to leave the scene, but I stopped.

"Grandpa Robbie, you're bleeding out of your head."

"Chip, because I resist. More than that, check inside!

I hear voices from the outside, and at the same time the footsteps of the villagers entering.

"... bad, mani, edda"

I skipped the Devil's Sword Berzera and headed outside.

"Hey, hey, Dean!

Mani, who was trying to get Edda up, rushes after me.

In the front door, five men stood.

"You're out of here! Look, he's a brown-haired kid, as we talked about!

At the beginning stood a tall, hairless, bearded man.

He was the one who gave instructions to the other villagers out of his voice.

I guess he's a leader.

Turn your farm tools towards me in a state of vigilance.

"But, Mr. Govin, these guys, they're soldier-killer adventurers if they're as arranged."

"You found out! I'm not supposed to be in the mood right now! We're gonna do this!

Govin, that seemed to be the name of the leadership among the villagers.

I doubted my ears when I called it a soldier-killer.

There shouldn't be any dead people out there when they go through the city gates.

Some of Zildo's men should have died, but it was difficult to believe that the story was already widespread.

"... Mr. Robi just asked about us and sympathized with us. Let go and treat him."

In my words, the person holding Robbie down sees most of you and the leader's man.

"Dean, I know you felt bad about Mr. Robbie. But it's not good to act too short-circuited"

That's what Mani said to me when he caught up to me.

"No, I'm going to negotiate with them"

Regardless, I was worried about Robbie.

He was the one who brought himself to us in isolation.

I don't want to leave you alone like that.

But naturally, that's not all.

Edda's wound hasn't healed satisfactorily yet.

I didn't want to let go immediately of the trustworthy opponent I got in the corner and the resting place.

If we hide well in the village, we may be able to scatter the Canvians.

If they catch us, it's all over.

"We are meant to be quite the adventurers. Are you sure you're still tired, but are you really going to fight?

Odd is completely different for adventurers and ordinary people who have continued to level up in the Demonic Labyrinth.

You shouldn't lose more than once.

Even over there, I don't think you want to go out of your way to fight me.

"Don't lick me, kid! We've been hunting warcraft for the past few years. I'm not scared of you guys."

That's what Govin says, but it's haphazard.

I do hear there are many warcraft disasters.

But there must be limits to that, too.

If the neighborhood is rough as a demonic labyrinth, there can be no village left.

"… Govin, the travelers are guilty of injustice. Non understands. You know, the filth of military manoeuvres today."

While Robbie was held down, it took a long time to persuade him.

"Did you find out? Ah! I know a hundred things about how bad chest shit is in the army. But it's not like this. Put this thing down, we're the ones pulling Baba! Even though the Warcraft Disaster is full, it will accumulate with the army and adventurer's chase! Get the hell out of this village!

Govin screams.

It was as expected.

Govin's goal is not to get involved with us.

It's not about catching them.

Whether you find a way out or not, it doesn't make any difference.

That's why I decided to expose myself.

"Okay, Mr. Govin. Let's negotiate."

"Kid! It's a matter of discussing with you, there's nothing here!

"No, there must be some trouble. And we can fix it."

"What?

"Interpret the Warcraft out of the Demonic Labyrinth. You talked about never having adventurers come to such a remote place, abandoned by the army, and having trouble overflowing with warcraft from the Demonic Labyrinth. We can work this out."

Govin shut up.

From the story, it should be true that Govin is also being driven out on the Warcraft Crusade.

The Warcraft disaster is a crisis in the survival of the village.

Even the dead are out many times.

Govin and I have a reason to take risks and keep us hidden.

And in this negotiation, we have an overwhelming advantage over the force.

Whether you actually wield it or not, its meaning of having force is significant.

"Go, Mr. Govin, you can't trust a guy like this. I'm sure he's going to cheat and use it to escape."

One of Govin's surroundings tells him.

"... but the army doesn't move for a reason. Even if the adventurer pays a fortune to call, as soon as he sees you, he runs away. I'll just have to ask the others who don't. Maybe this is your chance."

"So, but... if you get involved with these guys, that's the end of the village. If the army turns to the enemy...!

"Shut up. If we don't do something about those monsters, this village is over."

That's what Govin says and turns to the man holding Robbie down.

"Let him go, Grandpa. I'm gonna go inside, I'm gonna listen to you guys, let me negotiate."
