Sword of the Philosopher
Recommendations to the King
I'll pull the kings and get out of the escape path.
The magic of the dummies was amazingly refined to mimic the kings. So, we decided to commit suicide with the dagger we had hidden - and we reached the woods without the demons noticing.
I know it's ok... but just in case, we need to observe if the Demons move as per the scenario. In the meantime, I decided to magically send instructions to and have them monitored by a whole bunch of active user demons.
"... Now, what should we do from here"
The king whines in the woods...... this is completely out of scenario, so we need to do something to avoid exposing the king's presence first.
Most of all, it's hard for me to keep control of the kings' actions on my own... that's why my hands are thinking.
I first call on another user demon who's remotely manipulated, magically and secretly. I'm exploring the trends of a certain person... who returns a report that they are approaching.
All right...... while suppressing the urge to gut pose, I advance to the king.
"Your Majesty. You should leave the capital like this... first, to a nearby town. Nevertheless, it wouldn't be a good idea in that outfit. Wait a minute."
Create a storage box with a bracelet and remove the grey coat from it.
"The application of summoning magic."
Says the King. I nodded small,
"Yes, someone I know uses magic like this, and I found it useful to learn"
I duly mislead and offer my coat. After a word of "sorry," the king took off his coat and weaved it.
Your coat is yours to keep.
"Okay."
Agreed, I'll turn it into a container. The coat alone is a lot different in appearance, so this would allow you to delude it.
"But what should we do after we get into town"
"The first prerequisite is to hide yourself. When the king finds out he's dead, this time it's dangerous."
With that said, show the direction to town with your hands. The king nods and walks out with the princess.
Only the noise that drives the bush often resonates… I call the demon to explore the situation under observation, while proceeding through the woods. In time I thought maybe just after I left the woods it would be performative...... apparently, they were quicker.
Outside the woods, I heard a metallic sound caused by wearing armor. The Kings were on alert for a moment, but I'm getting closer to it.
Eventually I went through the woods... the king who followed my steps here, raising his voice.
"The Lord...!
Knight - Only one, a knight, existed on this occasion.
He is an elderly man - vice president of the Knights - whose golden edge decorations have been formed and luxurious swords lowered. The name is definitely, Fuole-Orlak.
"Your Majesty...!
Fuole looked at the king and the princess and immediately tried to kneel, but the king stopped it.
"Wait, stay put...... Fuole. What brings you here?
"Ha! We knew His Majesty had been captured... and we were moving to rescue him from the escape route."
"Are you alone?
"Yes. The others in the squad were injured, or already... I thought I should rescue them as soon as possible, by myself -"
Fuole...... he is an NPC and never a companion character. He is a person involved in Eina's scenario, who came backwards on the escape route and saved the king, just like me, even on the game as he emitted.
But the recapture failed… it was not on the game that the details would be told, but one more step - and Eina would hear that she was much more sorry. Well, I've been alone before, and I honestly don't think we have a choice.
Since his retreat, the castle will be in a strict state of siege, including the surrounding streets, making it impossible to reclaim... well I think I could easily use magic to break through, but given the possibility of tighter security in and around the cell, the risk of being found would have been higher.
While thinking, the king explains all the circumstances. Then Fuole turned her gaze here,
"Thank you... Lord Luon"
"No, until I complied with the request."
Hand control - I refer to knights.
"Knight Fuole. Thus succeeded in rescuing the king… but if the Demons knew he was alive, there was no doubt that this time he would find himself in a critical situation more than with fewer escorts"
Shortly after speaking, Fuole also gets a sinking look.
"... make it incomplete to intercept the demons at the time they arrived. It was ready. But they ravaged it easily..."
"It's obvious that we don't have enough power... now I think we should hide the fact that we're dead"
- This is the measure not to change the scenario. The kings advise that they should lurk and decide to have them hide until the second half of the story.
"Currently, the demonic threat is hitting the continent...... we should build up our power first. But I repeat, if the king finds out he's alive..."
"Um, Noon understands that too."
stated by the King. And spoke to Fuole.
"We will have to wait for the opportunity to fight back… wait for the time to fight back as we gather information on how the surrounding countries are doing"
"Yes... but what is a counterattack -"
"On that, I have one suggestion"
I say. At the same time my gaze gathered...... even as I was in a state of tension, the words came out firmly.
"The surrounding countries should also be under attack by the demons right now... even if only the knights of this country act, they will probably be crushed. I think we should gather information in the future and move at the same time that other countries will be able to fight back."
- I had some thoughts about this. Various events begin to occur at the stage of defeating the four inner bodies of the Five Demons. At that time, the knights of the nations rise together. And the last five demons attack… the hero defeats it and gains the power to break the demon king's boundaries.
"We should work with the Knights of other countries and fight back at all ready stages. If we don't do that, we can't resist the current demonic momentum."
"Uhm... I regret it, but that's all I have"
At the ready stage, I'm somewhat curious as to what the standard is in the king... but not immediately.
If Eina is the protagonist, information comes out about the Knights of other countries. She first moves to ask for reinforcements to the Knights of other countries to fight the Demons, but at a level where the majority of them cannot move at all or are too small to work with.
That's why the Kings won't be able to move either, so I'm going to make this suggestion... we'll need to use demons to observe this neighborhood as appropriate. It is one hand to go to praise if the time for action is fast. I have more troubles, but I have to do more than help someone who was supposed to die.
"Your Majesty… let's do the journey for now"
Here Fuole speaks.
"If you're dressed like that, you can act natural in town. I'll get you a horse."
"Okay."
"Lord Luon is right, we need to hide for a while to build up our strength...... there is a villa held by my brother. First there."
"... um"
The king snorts - OK, it's the place I thought it would be. Fuole lurks where he himself has just spoken after he was unable to rescue the king. Then he ends up excited and starts acting at the same time as the knights of other countries move. I think it would be okay for the King's presence to be cognizant at the stage where it moved as per the scenario, but until then... let's stab the nail even more because Eina sometimes visits the place.
"Knight Fuole. I don't think it would be a problem to hide away from the capital, etc... I think it would be unpleasant, but beyond being this disadvantageous, maybe some of the knights would rebel as well"
By the way, people like that come out in sub-events. Both Fuole and the King look rugged, considering their potential. He seems to think it makes sense. All right, if this is...
"I think we should hide within our companions that the King is alive for the time being, than the Demons and those who guide him may appear… as I said earlier, it would be dangerous not to hide until the knights of other countries regain strength enough to fight back"
"Right..."
The king agrees. And I turned my neck to Fuole,
"I regret it, but now I have to run away"
"Your Majesty..."
"Fuole. Very tough...... an extraordinary battle is about to begin. Some days I'll be in a hurry, will you follow me?
"Absolutely."
I'll thank you, Fuole. All right, it looks fine for now. If anything happens, I need to deal with it every time... but the king nodded small when he gazed at me as if he was accepting everything.
Now the purpose has been achieved... all you have to do is escort the king and princess to what Fuole calls the lair - when you were thinking about that,
"Father."
Princess Sophilia, who had kept silent, raised her voice.
