Sword of the Philosopher

Lord of the Sanctuary

Given my own abilities, I'm pretty sure there's no problem with demons coming out. It's not very preferable to be in the woods for long periods of time that you can't handle though...... I stepped into the sanctuary woods while thinking that way.

If Sophia continues to use 'Birdsoa', I thought I could spot it as soon as I detected the magic... but I couldn't. Therefore, it is determined that the magic power is likely to be exhausted. I seemed to have to even look around the woods.

There was also a way for me to use Bird Soar and move around anyway, but this would only allow me to search the area for a lot of clutter, and Sophia would likely not notice it if she raised her voice, which would also blunt the signs detection.

Even though the magic is depleted, if we get close, we should catch some signs... I think so, and I start looking without 'Birdsoa'. I just don't know how far Sofia has gone, and yet the forest is very large and deep. This is tricky...... I noticed one thing when I thought so.

There are signs of demons. But there's no sign of an attack.

"It's not like you're on guard looking at my abilities."

It kind of feels like you're showing an interest in me for breaking in. If I set it up from this side, they'll definitely fight back... but it's not even the kind of situation where you gain more enemies, so leave it alone.

What about Sofia? If he finds out he's being watched by demons with agitated emotions, he might attack with selflessness. I'm going to go to the back of the woods with a bad imagination. I don't even know if going in the back is the right thing to do... but it just has to work anyway.

Continue through the bush as you explore the signs. The grass is also a lot taller because it is a forest with few people's hands in it. Yet another unique sign exists in the woods unlike anywhere else - does it seem that way because you are aware that this is a sanctuary?

I don't think it's going to be exactly like Garc himself coming out, but there's a good chance that if you stay long enough, the demons will attack you. I just want to find it before it does.

I saw a sign on the lid. I immediately stop and look around.

"... what's that?"

It's not a sign of Sophia. It doesn't belong to the demons around us either. That's like looking at me from afar, a sign close to sight.

Even though I don't think... etc., resume moving. I don't even think there's a forest leader out there all of a sudden.

Moving further into the back of the woods, we have a similar gaze. I couldn't suppress the unpleasant feeling that this was definite.

Are you alarmed by the fact that two humans who don't normally step in have come in? Nevertheless, the demons in the vicinity do not show movement. This is a lot weird, and I'm gonna lean my neck.

Anyway, I need to find Sophia... after quite some time in the woods, I slipped through the woods to the lid.

In front of us is the spiritual peak approaching and there is a rough road that goes straight to the mountains formed by natural forces.

"Is there a footprint or something..."

I look around while I observe the ground. Are you walking around or are you in one place... I tried not to give up but to look and go back into the woods again.

At that time, I feel signs… it is a forest that exists beside a rough road leading to the mountains.

However, the signs were a heterogeneous atmosphere to that of the demons we were monitoring around. I didn't think so, etc. Arrow tip,

- It's unusual for a human to come here.

I heard a voice with a wild, then brave atmosphere. But the voice was echoed somewhere... and when I turned my gaze, I caught sight of a wolf emerge from the back of the forest.

However, its size is such that it reaches the trees present in the surrounding area, and at first glance it can be recognized as a demon with considerable power.

Yet characteristic are white body hair and black eyes. If you're walking around in the woods, it's not weird to have one of the dirt, but there's nothing like that at all.

And the black eyes are terribly rational, and I can see that they possess intelligence, as I voiced earlier.

'Coming here means you're quite prepared?

My mouth utterly stops moving - I was stunned, so I couldn't answer the question, but eventually asked me the other way around.

"... Are you Garc?

"Seems like such a name among people... but I (I) am called the Garc"

Whoa... that's just the way it is. Weird sweat comes out of my back.

It's unexpected. Anyway, we need to calm down here.

"Uh, I visited this forest looking for people."

"People?"

"I'm a woman, but as soon as she finds me, I'm going to take off the woods -"

"Hmmm......"

Gark looks around in a grunt.

"Sure, some of my compatriots around me seem to have seen stray beings."

He can communicate without speaking... Or Garc, Sophia using 'Birdsoa' should stand out, but what does it mean to notice me without realizing it?

"Uh, as soon as we find that person..."

'On that pretext, are you going to walk around where I am?

It was a high-pressure voice. He definitely looks like he's on his mind.

"Being in possession of so much power. Who are you?

... Garc, do you have any idea what I'm capable of? Even Rayfin couldn't have recognized it in detail if I hadn't exercised any power... but this is the Spirit.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure they're on guard. This place is low profile.

"No, it's true. I apologize for stepping in so far."

'Apparently a force unrelated to the Demon King... but a being who was flexed and dispatched here?

I don't think you're willing to listen to this claim... you mean you can't help but be more concerned about my abilities than my claim?

I wondered what I look like to Gark... but I can't afford to ask. We have to do something.

"The spirits unleashed by the Demon King?

"No, so..."

"If this forest is to be threatened, I must fight to protect my countrymen."

I can't explain it at all. Just give me a minute. You're going to fight if you stay like this, this.

I don't feel like I can fight or win any more than I am proud to have the power to fight the Demon King without a bond. But the existence in front of us does not harm humans. In the battle against the Demon King, it stands as static, but it is definitely not the opponent to be defeated because it favors the demons and makes them more or less alert.

"Well, as soon as I rescue the woman..."

"It is common for an intruder like you to be greeted with an absurd welcome."

Block my words, Garc speaks.

"Your aim, let me hold you back"

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

Howling...... I get intuitive and stiff that's intimidating behavior towards me.

"Be prepared."

No. Totally through with this claim. From Garc's point of view, my presence is irregular, and I am alert and willing to fight because I recognize this one's abilities... I can't stop it.

Speaking of which, this is the kind of development that I could see in the game and in the comics where the opponent enters the fight without listening to this explanation... I didn't think I'd be reincarnated and get the same look myself.

The signs of Gark get thicker at once while I'm thinking about something like that that doesn't matter. Apparently he's ready for battle...... as far as I'm concerned, I just want to get out, but I can't do that either, more than have to look for Sophia.

If Raefin comes, we might be able to handle this situation as well... but if Garc doesn't come even if he's signaling, is there still something going on?

"Yuku"

Garc, who, with his belligerent words then, further enhances his magic. I took a small breath - relative to the Spirit.
