Sword of the Philosopher

The warrior who showed up.

Sophia and the others seem to have done the exact damage to the demons, but they're still alive. And you're on guard. Stretch the roots around the body and show defensive posture.

"Have you formed a wall?"

I say. Even Sophia's magic should be able to wipe it out more than the ability of the roots to change, though. It won't just be a blow - I guess I'll be in charge of covering this place and the wall.

Sophia opened her mouth on the verge of sending instructions.

"Even if we attack again, we want a little more firepower or a little more power."

"Indeed."

Caln is in tune with her words. When my buddies gave me a harsh look... a change happened.

"This is..."

A male voice from the rear. Turning around. There were two people there.

One side is adventure-style, just like Stella...... a brown-haired man who solidified himself in leather armor. The weapon is a long sword, but slightly overwhelming, and I immediately understand that it is a weapon of the Great Sword system.

The other is a man with a cane in cleric clothing. The blue-colored outfit from top to bottom on black hair looks a lot floating in this forest.

- A man with brown hair is one of the protagonists, Alt-Moonlight. And the other man is Ignos-Alvan, a cleric who can handle 'sacred magic'.

"-Stella!?"

And Alto, my brother, noticed the presence of my sister. As soon as she did, Stella looked like a bad guy.

"Ah, brother..."

"What are you doing here?"

"Wait a minute. We'll talk later."

I'll break it in. So he looked at me.

"What about you?

"He's an adventurer moving to defeat the demons of this forest. Uh, is she your sister? When the three of us get here, she'll be on her own."

"... Stella"

"Don't be mad at me."

Atmosphere that sounds like a fight. I suppress it while pointing to the demon in front of me.

"Focus on taking him down now... the attack was made earlier. Still alive though, there are a number to settle at once"

"Okay."

Alto sets up his sword and confronts the demons.

"Because you're the one who looks like a jerk for now. We'll work together."

"... Sophia, Caln. Attack with him."

"Okay."

Copy that.

The two lay down their weapons accordingly. Plus Stella moves. In the meantime, too, the roots form walls, spreading the dominant area again.

"I will destroy the roots and make my way. Put on one piece at a time with four fierce assaults."

"I'll cover you."

Ignos also responds. I nod small and glance at everyone.

I don't know if I can defeat him with a focused attack... but if so, I can cover him and destroy the demons. That's only a last resort, but it's a priority for Sofia and the others to be safe - again determined and armed to unleash magic.

I use 'Flame Needle' to destroy the ground crawling roots all at once. This creates a path all at once, and Alto and the others rush to the demons at once.

More similar magic is used to destroy roots that have become walls to protect the body - so the four approached the body in good time.

Attack is initiated. It was Sophia's "Flame Slash" that was released in the beginning, followed by Caln's "Sonic Smash".

Plus Alto moved and let go of the Grand Sword's lower moves, the Sky Slasher Sword. Slashing from the bottom to the top creates a slight shock wave.

And add a sword trident to all Stella says is todome. Here I am wasting my 'flame needle' on the roots that start playing around.

The four further attack. I've fought back in the game, regardless of whether I want to take damage, but the petals don't move - more like they can't move. More precisely, should I say that Sophia and the others are blunting their movements at the time of the attack?

Convinced that I can keep pushing through this, I will magically destroy the roots that are likely to be an obstacle to the four of us. And Ignos covered it with Holy Shot, and eventually...

Demonic voice. No, you shouldn't be able to speak more than you are a plant, and maybe that was the sound of losing power and collapsing.

The roots also begin to decay. At the same time I think it's over, Sophia and the others are coming back.

As everyone drinks solidly at a distance...... Ibilflower dwindled its appearance to wither and eventually vanished.

"Defeated, or..."

Alto speaks out. Then I turn my neck to Sophia.

"... I'm sorry, I need your sister to help me. My name is Alt-Moonlight. This is my buddy Ignos-Alvan."

"I'm Luon-Maddin. So, she's..."

At the end of each other's introduction, I realized I had one. Where the body of the demon existed. There's one thing there that sparkles.

"Ah..."

Stella groans and approaches it. I picked it up right away. That's apparently a swallowed dagger.

"They found me, but I think I lost my magic"

"As much as all those demons have appeared, naturally... are they so precious?

"... Ah, it was discovered in the first ruins we dived"

"I've always had it in the sense of not forgetting my beginnings."

Oh, I see. Is that what you mean? I took care of it because I first got it... it swallowed me up in the game, but now that it's the real world, I could help.

And all the fog around me clears up a little bit. It wasn't entirely clear because it was originally a foggy place, but it was probably even darker due to the chi.

"The bosses around here have been knocked down, I guess."

I groan one thing and shift my gaze to Sophia and Callan.

The two levels have gone up enough too...... I haven't learned the intermediate level moves yet, but a little more training will help me master them.

And the goal of the event is also achieved. The question just remains. The boss felt a lot worse than the game. This is thought to be because I'm not taking in Stella, but because how do I interpret the ability of the roots to regenerate... I don't know if I can look around and figure it out, but I should.

So I got to bowl in with Alto again... should I see how things are going around here? Well, it's true that the edge was born here, so can we go back to town and talk?

"Did you visit these woods for any purpose?

Alto asks. And I shrugged my shoulders.

"For once. We each try to fight the Demons for a reason. That's why we're fighting demons that exist in these woods."

"With the Demon Clan... well"

"What about you? You mean you could hear the word" ruins, "Treasure Hunter?

When asked, Alto replied, "That's the place,"

"But there was something about the influence of the Demon King that grew stronger every day... hey Mr. Luon. Some demons set up castles. You're talking about challenging that kind of demon clan?

"I haven't figured out what to do yet, but if you're going to fight the Demons, that's not even a zero chance."

Me shrugging my shoulders - it is true that there is a castle nearby that is certainly the Five Demons, the Redlas. But I shouldn't have been able to get in without an event.

The same goes for the other five great demons. The order of defeat was free, but the setting was that no Five Demons would come out of dimensional distortion unless a particular event was activated. This is because their purpose is not so much direct control of man as control over the earth and the magic in the atmosphere that exists on the continent.

The aim of the five great demons is to strike a wedge of magic on the continent by the power of the demons. This has to do with the magic that activates if each of the five protagonists defeats the Five Demons. The magic infiltrated by the Five Demons responds to the devastating magic unleashed by the Demon King and creates enough power to crumble the entire continent. The stage where we are now preparing to activate magic while stopping humans and spirits.

However, it does not activate if one of the protagonists defeats the Five Demons. The reason is that when the Demon King activates magic, the protagonist who gains the power of the wise from the Five Demons will deactivate the magic. If each of the five attacked, this is not the case because the forces are not united. So the Demon King can use the magic to destroy the continent.

As it stands, no events have been activated regarding the Five Demons. Once you get back to town, you might want to look into the area in detail - when you think about that,

"I didn't think you'd get hit."

I heard a man with a childhood - not one of my people's, a voice.
