Sword of the Philosopher
Behind the castle.
The castle of Ledras - the door to its entrance, opens. The interior, peeking with the heavy noise, was creepy in a blue colour, similar to the exterior.
Inside it is illuminated by magical lights, an atmosphere that does not seem necessary to secure vision… and no demons can be seen near the entrance.
A trap, there was a possibility. But I know I don't count with demons around the entrance.
"You mean thin?
Alto speaks as he looks inside.
"But when you're so galloping empty, don't want to suspect the other way around"
The words are the most… My information is only about the game, so it is possible that things are changing. You'll have to be careful.
Nevertheless, there is no doubt that the number of demons is smaller than when the Crusaders attacked...... Alto often looks indoors and then takes the lead and moves his feet forward.
All right... I'll move on to action to do what I was meeting with Raifin in advance here.
First of all - the moment I walked indoors, I suddenly collapsed. Sitting around on one knee...
"... hey!?"
Alto was the first to react. Sophia rushes up to me right after.
"Dear Luon!? What's wrong!?"
"No... sorry. The moment I came in, my head just cracked."
That's what I say and try to get up. If the act found out, it would be the end of a roll, and I was anxious to be able to fool Sophia successfully... for a moment,
"... apparently, it's not compatible"
Raifin's voice sounded. This is as we were meeting. She shows up with words.
"Some humans are weak in resistance to the temper emitted by certain demons… Now Mr. Leon's magic is much weaker than usual. It must be very incompatible with the evil spirits in this castle."
"Does that mean my abilities will be limited?
Raifin nodded as this one inquired.
"I don't know how effective it is without verifying..."
"Well...... but you're not going to leave"
"Are you sure?
Alto confirms. I can see the atmosphere of worrying about me.
"It's been a tough situation so far... now's the only time, isn't it?
"Yeah, right."
"It doesn't look like magic is no longer available just because I'm less capable... I protect myself. I'm gonna give you support, so you're gonna have to get out of here."
"Then can you give me instructions on how to fight in the rear guard? You have to fight more than just being a Demon castle... and then you won't be able to see me or Stella."
"Am I good?
"Oh, I know you've been fighting with me and you've got a wide horizon."
"... ok"
Accepted Alto's suggestion. Sophia, on the other hand, had an uneasy look on her face... but she nodded small to see if she would obey my will.
- Considering the possibility that my ability would be passed on to Ledras by me being serious, this was my idea to make a stand for support. Besides, there's still a reason to do this. I went there last night, it's an underground investigation.
Dolking, who possessed a large amount of Ledras' magic, seemed to have captured my abilities as a result of the attack. I don't know if the weakened Redras can do the same... but if they attack with a lot of temper, there is a possibility of exposure. There is also Leffin's suggestion that we should not talk about the situation yet… as a result, we are going to play a play.
Regardless, if it becomes dangerous, we will deal with it... we all have to survive. I also give you my emergency bracelet, so I think it's ok... just keep your mind open and I'll move to the rear of my people.
And look around indoors. I can barely breathe.
Is it because I'm a sage's blood muscle about Alto, Sophia, and even Stella... I'm not so comfortable with being cared for? On the other hand, Ignos glanced at his face and once held his chest with his hand whether Caln would also have heartburn again.
I look straight in the face as I feel my temper on my skin. There is only one way to the back of this place that should be called the entrance... so we go there.
Eventually I ran into a demon. Looks like a pitch-black leopard. In the name of the game it was called 'Shadow Panther'.
"Be careful!
I raise my voice immediately. This guy is not so much the same ability as any demon I've ever met... but if he has a high dodging rate, he's a sticky, nasty type who comes up against the Netineties.
This kind of opponent has a better chance of causing injury to this one and is very troublesome... he later also discovers "Goblin Night" armed with armor all over his body, an intermediate species of goblin descent. This is an enemy we have encountered so far in this country, but it is troublesome to be linked.
"Mr. Alto and Mr. Stella are in the rear. Respond to the goblins! Defeat a guy like a leopard in Caln and Sophia!
"Okay!
Alto runs to 'Goblin Night'. Then 'Shadow Panther' reacted, but Sophia stepped forward and released her sword so as to inhibit its movement.
Then Caln moves - but not as clean as usual. Apparently, the movement is somewhat dull due to the effects of temper.
Either use auxiliary magic - the arrow tip I was thinking of, Sophia's sword hit 'Shadow Panther'.
Not exactly a blow, but the demon frightened the monster greatly as it seemed to have so much power. Then Caln's attack. Nevertheless, are you slightly brave enough to dive in with a dagger, or the sword trident released in a dull motion was shallow.
I thought there would be a counterattack - but Sophia stood around successfully and pursued. He continued to unleash the 'Aerial Sword' and the Sword Trident and succeeded in destroying them.
"Sorry, thanks"
"No."
Carn and Sophia have a short conversation - Opposite Alto works with Stella to intercept 'Goblin Night' at once. The move is accurate, and the collaboration is brilliant because you are brothers and sisters. It sank with a unilateral attack on a demonic opponent who came only with a direct attack.
Unless you're using magic or something, you probably won't have a problem... conveniently, the demons that appear in this castle are directly attack-centric. If we can work together well, it will be possible enough to fight without eating an attack.
The properties of these demons affect Ledras, the Lord of this castle... because he is capable of attacking the subject with his own weapons, demons are dragging on those properties as well.
Nevertheless, when it comes to dealing with an opponent later in the story, all the features emerge, such as being quite aggressive or having a high critical rate. But not yet at this stage, so I can deal with it relatively easily.
I ran into the demon a few times later, but I was able to deal with it intact. I also used magic to verify it... I explained to everyone that the power of attack magic and so on has been greatly reduced and that assistive magic on the other hand has not changed that much.
As we go back, we start thinking about confronting Ledras. The phenomenon of sudden enemies getting stronger along the way was not on the game...... so if you keep going you can definitely reach Ledras.
But as things stand, Sofia and the others haven't mastered intermediate moves yet. It doesn't even go as far as a lack of fire power, but it's likely to struggle as it is.
In addition, Ledras' attacks... many of his attacks have been combined with the wind. Especially troublesome is the magic guide. Ledras' weapon is a spear, but the most troublesome would be the intermediate magic guide 'Blastrance'.
This move attacks the opponent due to a strong spike that brings the wind together... a move that has a high Critical Rate and can be knocked down by a single blow in the game if the hit is bad. The way to deal with it is to increase wind resistance using the 'air shield', which is magic. However, once this magic is applied, it cannot be applied again until the effect is completely extinguished, and the effect is weakened over time.
If you get a decent blow, you'll definitely take enough damage to force you to leave the front. The timing of my shielding with magic will be important.
Even while I think about it, I'm going to lead the way with Alto. There are several branches of the castle of Ledras, all of which are places with crates and are basic main roads. First things first went well... but when this happens, there's no time for Sophia and the others to learn to move.
You'll have to expect to grow in your battle with Ledras when this happens...... in the game you were mastering moves after the battle, but from the forest request you saw Sophia's battle, you know you can also master it during the battle. Well, then...
At that time, it reached a familiar place - in front of the door to the hall where Ledras was located.
