Sword of the Philosopher

Earl and trap

My flashing sword trident defeats the demon - it's surrounded, but the other three are ready to respond to the situation and move.

It is Balzad that stands out in particular. He is turning and blowing back into a counterattack with an impending Lesser Demon and High Skeleton attack. That defense, which punches through no damage, probably because it builds a fairly strong magic barrier.

Its strength is exactly what the Three Powers deserve - but Eina hasn't lost either. Accurately engage demonic attacks and defeat enemies with sophisticated moves. Because she has the same sword moves as Sophia, or because her moves are familiar to me, Eina is more aggressive in her moves than Sophia. This may be because of the difference between a knight and a princess.

And Lilitha - she's waving her spear again and fighting her enemies to the full. Its strength is real, although it is not a character to be one of them, and it shows its fellow characters no less active.

Most importantly, the biggest problem lies more in their ability to grow than in their strength... but when this battle is over, they are likely to join Eina and the others. You'll know if there's any growth after that. So far we can defeat our enemies with no problems, so it looks ok about this fight.

Eventually the battle ends. It probably didn't take longer than earlier because Balzard was in full swing.

"Sounds like an Earl who likes traps."

Balzard leaks his thoughts. Then Lirisha nodded small,

"It is certain that you are joining hands with the Demon Clan… let's move on. Straight through that door and you'll reach it between sights. Perhaps there is an Earl."

Lirisha starts to walk in the lead. The three remaining men, including me, followed... through the door.

At this point you can assume that you no longer have to walk around the Castle of the Count. There's still a trap in between... let's keep our heads together.

It won't take that long to get to the bottom of it. In a wide space illuminated by lights, there is a luxurious throne in the back that mimics what the king sits on.

And in the middle of the hall, the person you were looking for stood up to greet us.

"Welcome, Lirisha... and the travelers"

A person who even gives a humble thank you… Is the person between forty and fifty years of age as white as his skin is odd? I possess a lot of majestic wrinkles, contrary to black hair without a single gray hair... the whiteness of my skin makes me uncomfortable here in every way.

Definitely, he's the one who's Arzac. His standing, dressed in red based aristocratic clothing, existed as dignified as his face, but at the same time combined with the kind of oddity that the dogma showed.

"I'm supposed to be visiting you here tonight... because Lirisha acted?

"You know what I mean."

Lirisha speaks out of hostility. At the same time, step forward and point the tip of the spear at Arzac.

"Your tyranny, you can't let it go on any longer... than there are demons. Did you join hands with the Demons?

"Oh. It would have been convenient if you'd sink in the demon I set you up, but it just didn't seem so sweet"

"Yeah, well... I'm gonna make you a success."

"Right."

Arzac speaks with a spare grin...... From here on out, we have to be careful what they say and do.

Between this glimpse of stepping in on the game, there was no trap, just a fight. And Arzak's ability at heart... It's easy to fight for a long time because he uses a lot of HP-absorbing moves, but it's not hard to deal with if he's grown up properly because he's an understated ability for a boss. If the Einas have fought this far, they can defeat them enough.

If you're going to have a bee beating, you don't have that much difficulty...... more than doing the act of capturing Lilitha. There is no doubt that the trap will activate. I must observe and be vigilant in every step of Arzac's way.

"That's a lot to spare."

Balzad says. Eina also took the sword as if in tune with it.

As things stand, we are definitely the overwhelming advantage. The enemy is only Arzac. And this one's all intact, including me.

"Can you afford it, does it look like?

Tilt his little neck, Arzac responds.

"I can afford... Hmm, I see. Do you think there is anything more you can do than go beyond this?"

"No doubt about it, it's"

Balzad stands next to Lilitha and sets up his sword.

... while it is possible that Arzac will simply come under attack, I will watch things change, thinking that it will probably not be such a battle.

If it's a pit, use magic to deal with it immediately. I don't have a problem with attacks with status anomalies because I give them items beforehand... they should have been.

But the next moment, magic - I understand what it is - I heard Eina groan small.

"Huh..."

Suddenly, he collapses from his knees. Balzard then lowered his voice as well.

Even more to Lilitha...... shortly after, I heard Arzac laughing.

"- Ha ha ha! You're so stupid!

It's a way of laughing like an enemy actor in a comic book or cartoon...... no, it's actually an enemy.

"We have a plan to deal with rats like you, right? They're gonna kill you if you can't move... but I'm gonna kill you for making you feel the pain of hell."

A complete declaration of victory... here's my question.

"Do you realize that?

"Hmm? What?

"That trap doesn't work for me."

- As soon as possible, Arzak's face is stunned. It just didn't show the concern that the trap didn't work, it seemed like a pure surprise.

"... are you intolerant?"

"Resistance......?

"This magic becomes intolerable once it is received. So you've been subjected to this magic more than you've ever been? Significantly, I don't think it's beyond my power."

... I knew it. What activated it was a capability dependent trap. There was magic on the game that dealt huge damage to enemies below the ability and level of the magic user. The magic Arzac unleashed should have something to do with levels and around magic.

In other words, Lirisha and the others were below magic or level than Arzac, so they got magic. On the other hand, it didn't work for me in possession of unscrupulous abilities. But it doesn't look like I'm strong on the look of it, so I guess you thought I was resistant. Let's get on here.

If it was true, I wanted to deal with it, but it was magically activated faster than it moved. Fast because it was simply magic to stop the movement. If this was attack magic, I would have been able to deal with it before the attack arrived here... but if we stopped moving, we could do anything about it, so we made it a priority to seal the action.

I just have a question here. This kind of magic cannot seal the movement unless the user continues to exercise it all the time. But Arzac doesn't look like he's keeping his magic. Yet this magic was not used by the main characters of the game when they visited and fought the castle. When Lirisha visited the castle, she used it and didn't use it in battle with the protagonists... and the fact that she doesn't seem to maintain any more magic -

"... Oh, I've encountered these magics before. But it wasn't the way it was then. You're using tools, right?

"What?"

"I'm putting some tools in this room and using them to maintain my magic... isn't that the place?

Arzac turned a vigilant eye on me. Looks like a picture star.

I could use magic against Lilitha, but only once because I didn't have the supplies I needed for magic... perhaps this magic was incorporated as a magic against Lilitha.

Incorporating these kinds of magic into a room costs quite a bit of money in itself, and it's a huge trap accordingly. I guess I planted something like this to keep Lilitha on guard... it would have been dangerous without me.

"Hmm, I didn't know the resistance was mixed up...... okay. If that's the case, until I slaughter you myself."

Arzac says... That's combat mode. Well, how do I work?

Since Eina and Lirisha are in a state where they can't move, we need to fight alone to protect them... killing them instantly is also a hand, but there is one problem.

Although he is human, Arzac possesses the power of the devil clan. In this case, it is possible that the powerful Demon Clan is monitoring Arzac and observing this battle.

If you also consider that Eina and the others have eyes, it's risky for me to be serious and divulge magic... then the answer is one. Defeat Arzak within the constraints of the ribbon he received from Gark while protecting the Liliths.

I've been using ribbons and training a lot. I assumed that I would fight alone without being able to give my full strength - let's do it.

"Behold! My reborn body!

As I lay down my sword, I scream at the same mouth as the game and Arzac's body changes. When I wondered if the wrinkled face had increased in whiteness, magic erupted from its body.
