Sword of the Philosopher

Southern Town

The next day I informed Sofia and Silvi of my future policies and decided to go further south.

Keep going and you will reach the sea. What we're looking for is a town built on the coastline, so we're bound to see the ocean. By the way, both Sophia and Silvi said they had seen the sea. I've also been reincarnated and visited town a few times, so it's not particularly unusual.

The purpose of Sophia and the others is to acquire a new weapon… to prepare for battle and acquire a sword.

There is no doubt that further fighting will be intense in the future. In addition to fighting the Five Demons, you may also encounter events such as the recapture of the kingdom of Barks. That means looking ahead to those battles and keeping your weapons in your possession now.

The first thing you need to do is ask a blacksmith in that town in the southern part of the continent because it is someone who also existed in the game. Regardless, there are famous blacksmiths who didn't exist on the game, but it is my conclusion that there are rumors that there will be places to visit from now on, and that they will be the best.

And while I was producing the sword, I fought Azua... and everything I would do in the south would be over.

"I get a weapon... is there a guess?

Silvi asks me as I move on to town. I said, "Of course."

"I know someone whose name comes up after listening to warriors all sorts of things, although I've never used them"

That's why we continue our journey. While the itinerary was reduced by magic along the way - no particular problems, we made it to our destination.

Further south from the woods where Undine was - the place we finally reached was a town present on the scenic coastline.

"Beautiful."

Sofia divulges her thoughts… There were many things about coastal towns that were intended for sightseeing even before she was reincarnated. I've never been abroad before, so much so that I saw that in basic photos and video... this was a place to remember those beauties.

In addition to the colorful buildings, the town was built by shredding the mountains. For once there are many soldiers and so on for security, but the air in town calms the mind somewhere.

We have a good view and then we head into town. By the way, his name is Lunarate. There are many tourists. This place is a southern town, so the influence of the demons is thin, and people who walk enjoy peace. There are a lot of people evacuating, though.

"Well, do you want to get to the blacksmith soon"

"Yes. Where?

"I'm talking about being on the street, so if you're walking, you'll find me."

I answered Sophia while walking ahead and moving on. The spot, which was found a little bit, was close to the center of the street.

Places and such are exactly the same as games. I'm gonna go inside with certainty.

"I'm sorry"

Enter the store. Shortly after, I heard an iron strike called Cancún.

"Welcome"

Her face to the reception with that sound was a woman in her thirties or so wearing glasses, and she looks very good in an apron.

"Would you like a sword?

"Not me, the two behind me."

Point to Sophia and Silvi. Then the woman nodded,

"Okay. I was just wondering if it would take a little while for two."

"Wait in order, or something like that?

Because it's famous there, I was afraid of the possibility that it was full of reservations.

"I'm fine so far. You can work on creating it right away."

Lucky me. I'll do the favor right away. So the sound of striking iron rings loudly, and a man comes out of the back.

"There you are."

A man in a slightly blurry way is a brunette man who has a slightly stretched beard at the same age as a woman. Speaking of which, you didn't get a name in the game so much as a blacksmith.

Woman - probably the blacksmith's wife, but she tells the man what we want. Then he nodded,

"It's cheap... then I'll just let you check it out"

"Inspection?"

Sophia listens back. A woman raised her voice against.

"You both seem to possess quite a bit of magic. Plus you must be a spiritual contractor, right?

"Uh, yes. Yes, sir."

Lightly nursed, Sophia looked surprised. It's supposed to be...

"We need a way to suit those people to provide them with weapons… I'll do that inspection. Even if I look like this, I'm the wizard who graduated from the Academy."

Because of her presence, we can also create magic swords here. Sophia raised her voice "I see" as impressed and seemed to understand why I had brought her here.

The two are put through the back. Testing magic and such, based on which a couple create a weapon... a man has spoken to me wondering what I would do.

"I'm Ganac-Barront. What about you?"

"It's Luon-Maddin."

Shake hands. Ganak talks to me right after he stops shaking hands.

"From what I've seen, it doesn't feel like a mere adventurer."

I snorted small at the words,

"For various reasons… Travel with a silver-haired woman as a squire"

"Did you come here for a sword?

"That's the place. We signed with the Spirit and visited here together"

"There's been a lot of guys like that lately."

Ganak talking with his head galloping. Here's my question.

"Here too, the influence of the Demon King invasion?

"Well, of course. The presence of the refugees is huge, but most importantly, more swordsmen like you have come."

Speaking, he leaked a self-derisive sigh.

"I'm glad to hear about this place and come for the sword, but to fight demons, it's complicated."

That would be so. Because being busy means fighting the Demons continues.

"What's the impact around here?

"There's no such thing as a demon clan coming. Sometimes demons live in coastline caves or something just a little way from town. Some people in town are afraid."

Speaking that far, Ganak raises his voice "Ah" as if he remembered.

"No, someone asked me to exorcise the demons in that cave. I don't know the details."

"Request, is it"

I'll think about it for a second. Hmm, there was no place on the game for a coastline cave. That is a story out of bounds of the game.

"Are you interested?

Ganak asks. I shrugged my shoulders small,

"Well, quite."

"He's looking for company, so he might be in the guild."

Tell Ganak's words, "I'll think about it," and look in the store. That's when Sophia and Silvi come back. According to an explanation from his wife, the two magic investigations will take a day, and it will take another while to produce a sword from it.

"Unlike normal blacksmiths, the period varies depending on the material"

"What do you mean, provide the material here?

When asked, Ganak replied, "I don't mind."

We will need more material than we can use to fight the Demons in the future. Then the answer is one… so I call the inbox by summoning magic. Ganak and his wife took it out in surprise.

"How about this?

"... well, you have a lot of interesting stuff again"

Ganak says. Your wife looks forward to it with interest, too.

What I took out. It's a special metal in this world. It was called 'Spiritual Steel', which had the power of retrogressivity.
