Sword of the Philosopher
coastline caves
The cave of purpose was about a few hours from town, not so far away. According to Kuuza's story, in some cases the entrance is closed by the tidal pull, but now it seems to be okay.
A cave exists beneath the cape, with naturally formed downhill paths. We walked over there quietly... and arrived in front of the cave.
From the entrance, there is no sign of any demons. Are you good at lurking yourself, or are you still at sea and unable to explore?
Then let's go.
Kuuza says. We nodded, creating lights and entering the cave.
Temperatures are also low inside, and there is moisture due to the nearby sea. While we watch our step, we move on… Eventually, we reach a branch where the road divides from left to right.
"... that's weird"
Here Raefin showed up and spoke out.
"You can have Nereid, but there's no sign at all"
"Are you hiding, or..."
narrow your eyes, Kuuza says. Worst case - has all the spirits that were in the cave perished?
"No, I can't help thinking about it. Let's move on. Which way do we go?
That's when I asked - Hitahita and I heard something like footsteps in the cave.
We're on to battle. The sound comes from the left. It doesn't sound like an oak or a goblin.
Waiting with a sword... a two-legged demon looking like a half-fish man... it's a sahagin.
Sophia and her enemies can defeat them without any problems. It just has the trait of calling a buddy, which makes it extremely troublesome if you don't knock him down early.
Shortly after I thought I'd knock him out at once, I can hear the sound from the right side as well.
"... apparently, you have a number"
Kuuza squeaks. It would be a word for grasping the properties of Sahagin.
No weapons etc., the means of attack is fist or body... but it is troublesome when you can come in numbers. You should just knock it down.
"... from left to right, let's back each other"
Here's Kuuza's suggestion. Then Silvi goes next to Kuuza.
"Then it's me and Kuza."
"Nice to meet you. Are you okay over there?
"Oh."
Nodding, I become next door to Sophia and think looking at Sahagin in the left aisle. Maybe I can be serious because there is no demon tribe... there is something about kuza, and for one thing, do we deal with it with added or subtracted force?
"... Sophia, let's deal with this in collaboration"
To the words - Sophia nodded small.
"Okay. I will do my best to keep up with Mr. Luon's movements."
... Yes, I don't have to invest in my shoulders.
I keep an eye on Sahagin coming at me directly from the front. At the same time, he stepped out at exactly the same time as Sophia.
Aim for Sahagin's right leg with the 'Holy Shot' as he sets up his sword. As a result, he struck directly at the back of his leg and stopped moving.
"Do it!"
A flash of Sofia there. The only blow to the chest went in, and the demon wandered.
"Sophia, it could be a long war. Save as much magic as you can."
"Okay."
Sophia waves her sword accordingly. Accurate movements are precisely the fruit of training. Destroyed lightly without being fought back by Sahagin.
If this... right after I thought about it, there was a sound of bong from the rear. Shortly after I thought Kuuza probably used it in 'Fireball' as well, now there's the sound of a thunderbolt called bursting.
I just look back for a moment. As in the game, he was constantly demonstrating his ability to use lower magic and defeating his enemies. Apparently the ability I had in the game is alive... understanding and looking back, plus the sight of Sahagin coming from the front.
"... What if it's a Sahagin's nest?
Though, I don't think these guys are the devil king's gestures, but the kind that got caught up and stormed... plus Sahagin from the aftermath.
"Mr. Luon, are you okay over there?
Kuuza inquiry from the rear. I guess the right road is in a similar situation. I was afraid they would call my people, but this appearance may have been a herd from the beginning.
"It's okay...... watch out for that one too!
Raise your voice and at the same time wave your sword at the coming Sahagin. I never defeated Sahagin because it was adding or subtracting - but Sophia hit the sword of pursuit and succeeded in destroying it.
Further sahaggins are imminent from later on... me and Sophia will work together to deal with them. I haven't fought much shoulder to shoulder so far, but still, me and her worked well together.
I magically shot through Sahagin's area, and Sophia ends up in pursuit. On the other hand, the rear is dressed like Silvi and Khuza are almost single-handedly defeating Sahagin. This one feels like we're knocking down enemies as we think they are, rather than working together.
However, this fact also proves that Kuza, the wizard, also possesses the ability to fight alone. He traveled alone until he met us in town. There must have been times when I worked with someone as I did with Silvi, but still there should have been few situations where I would have fought demons alone. What you can do about it would be the ability to do magic in a row.
Once again, we recognize that we possess the characteristics of the 'Three Powers' … it was roughly fifteen minutes later that we destroyed them all.
Finally, the enemy attacking me disappears, breathing a sigh of relief. So Sophia opened her mouth to Khuza.
"Magic, but there's no sign you were chanting"
"Chanting is an act of preparing the magic of sleeping in your body, so it doesn't have to depend on your training."
It was a laughing and hitting kuuza, but you were alone in that guy game.
I'm also very good at magic. Some chanting time to the extreme limit is close to nothing, but that's the fruit of training. It would be a matter of taste in his case.
Mr. Sophia used magic in the middle of a battle.
Kuuza turns to the story. Sophia of the day nodded small,
"Yes, I have a contract with the Spirit, and a magic guide"
"I see... it looks like a swordsmanship center, but don't you have a choice to train magic?
"It might be important to reinforce your magic moves."
"... if I get a chance, can I enhance the area"
I mentioned it. If you want to harness the power of the Spirit, you can also strengthen the magical aspect.
"Oh, are you coming to the academy? I can introduce you to people, if you like."
Kuuza asks cheerfully. I just said, "I'll think about it."
"Let's move on."
By that word, we're on the move. As a result of the discussion, I decided to go the left way.
From now on, Sahagin will appear sporadically, but he will go to the back, not our enemies. Probably an hour or so from the first battle...... you reach a place where you can feel a strong temper from the front.
Apparently, the end point is near… the size of the cave itself is not that great, so we move on. Also at this stage, I don't see Nereid the Spirit. You should look for it after you defeat the demon.
That's how we arrived at the vast space where sea water enters. Should I even call it a cove...... a soaking sea exists directly in front of it and something is going to come out of the back of the dark even now?
"... I don't see much temper."
Kuuza approached the slightly rippling surface as she whined - so I had a somewhat unpleasant feeling, and I chanted in my mouth.
Kuuza standing on the water while you are chanting. When Sophia and Sylvie tried to walk the same way again...
All of a sudden, the water surface directly in front rises. At the same time, huge squid legs appeared on the sea level.
"Eh!?"
As Sophia hears a small groan, her feet are either willing to drag Kuza closest to the surface of the sea or she approaches him,
- It's a flame.
I intervened there. The 'Fire Lance' that I let go of my approaching leg disappears.
Kuuza immediately pulled his legs back and the Sofias entered the fighting posture as well. When he said "bad" to me at the time, he set up a cane.
The water surface shows up even more uplifting. In a nutshell, a giant squid in white...... so this is definitely Kraken!
Strong enemies that emerge in various mediums like comics and cartoons. A demon with considerable ability to be arguably top notch among aquatic demons...... in this' Elders Sword 'he was an unseen demon.
