Sword of the Philosopher
Two new weapons.
In both cases, is it common in games to say "I'll give you one weapon as a thank you" or something like that? It makes me feel bad that I never get both on the game, but it's a common pattern.
It's just that in this case, people are the target, not the weapon... that is, joining the event and only one of them can save it.
I wanted to avoid this. In other words, save the two knights, and yet also save the General who is bound to die... it was just true that he was worried about what to do.
This battle is being attacked from three directions, but naturally I have one. The question arose as to what to do if at the exact same time we got into a bad situation.
Before I saved Sophia - that is, the idea before the game scenario started - was to talk directly to King Canaan, have some control over the knights' movements, and the way I was going to defeat the enemy commander. Exactly because I thought the Demon King would react when I destroyed all his legions with my abilities, I was thinking that the Knights would secretly move and defeat only the Commander, and then the Demons multiplied by confusion...
In the case of that method, there is also the aspect that depends on the movement of the demon clan, and it is more likely that the movement itself will change. Canaan's Awakening Event exists at the end of the event, so it could not even be activated if you poorly change the way you fight. If you consider the danger of a southern invasion, you want to do his awakening if you can, and given that, I'm pretty sure the original idea was a variety of risky battles.
Besides, the reason the knight dies, itself, was not discussed in detail on the game except for the information that he died in battle, so there are still limitations...... so I'm pretty sure it was the troubling part.
I just can take another approach now. Sophia and the others are highly capable. Probably strong enough against the demons that appear in this battle. Therefore, it is a way of asking Sophia and the others to secretly strive to escort the knights and respond to dangerous situations.
This should make the enemy move as well as the game, and it's easy to predict… The form of asking your people to cooperate in order to implement measures in case Sofia and the others are in danger was definitely effective.
I'll talk to Sophia, and I'll tell Silvi and Kuza about it at the dinner table. The two responded, "I don't mind..." Here, Silvi opened his mouth.
"I don't mind going to the Kingdom of Alastin..."
Silvi looks at Sophia's face. I know what you're trying to say. It would mean that her presence might be discovered.
I don't speak any more because I have a quail. I see Sophia. I still don't know if I'm going to talk to Canaan, but at least I want to avoid that the lapse over here will expose me about Sophia.
However, if we talk about it, we naturally need to tell Kuza who doesn't know the circumstances. I don't know if it's okay for you to just sit on the couch.
"Master Luon, I don't mind."
So Sophia opened her mouth.
"I was watching Kuuza-sama's crowd and I decided it was okay"
"Hmm? Is that my story?
Kuuza surprises me as soon as possible. Then, after Silvi breathes out, he speaks out.
"If Sophia says so, I don't think I mind either. If anything happens, I'll take care of it."
"Hey, wait a minute. What do you got?
Confused kuuza. I tell Sylvie and the others while I ignore his mention in half.
"Well, I guess I'll be fine from the way I keep fighting demons during my stay too..."
"Just give me a minute. Leave me alone and don't move on."
Kuuza to start panicking. Here we look at him at the same time - Kuza stops moving.
"... is something bad going on?
- Master Luon, let's talk about the situation.
"Okay."
- So I explained Sophia to Kuza again. As a result, he muttered "I see".
"I thought you weren't just an adventurer... but the question is, do you mean you have to make sure the King of the Kingdom of Alastin doesn't find you"
"Sophia herself, I'm not sure if I'll see you... but I want to avoid that this one will fail to find you"
"Right...... uh, princess -"
"Sophia's fine."
"... Mr. Sophia, if it's a battle, is it likely that the king will come forward?
"I don't think it's an impossible story, because the General and others know my face in the first place"
"I see."
"Sophia, when was the last time you dealt with the people of the Kingdom of Alastin?
I'll ask the question. Sophia thought a little,
"... about two years ago"
"Then the risk of being judged by looking at your physique seems low. If you cover your face, I think you'll be fine."
"Do you even wear an iron mask?
"That's weird with that gear... mask or something. When explaining it, I think I should say that there are scratches and the product is not noticeable. Some mercenaries don't expose their faces much, and if they don't stand out weirdly, you'll be fine. We'll follow you."
"Nevertheless, our sense of what kind of disguise to use is questioned."
Something fun to talk about, Silvi.
"If it's the size of this town, there 'll be a lot of stuff, and I'm sure we can figure it out."
"... I don't even know if it's going to be a fight, but let's just get ready"
Yes, I speak, and the conversation is over. Later, Sophia and Silvi were to walk around town looking for disguised tools.
I will gather more information. I haven't seen any signs of the event yet, but it does give me an atmosphere where something seems possible. Maybe a battle will break out in the Kingdom of Alastin while we travel.
Parallel to that, we also heard reports of Garc and his activities... and we waited for the day the sword was completed.
And - finally the completion of the sword and the day of departure. The four of us, including Kuza, visit Ganak's shop.
"I've been waiting for you."
Ganak and his wife greet him with pleasure - the sword is finally given to him.
"We've got quite a few things. Use this to get rid of the Demons."
Sophia and Silvi are given weapons, respectively. Sophia has a silver sheath similar to her hair color. When she grabbed the pattern and pulled it out slightly, the blue body caught her eye.
Blue, reminiscent of the deep sea. Sophia often looked at the sword...... eventually, it fell into a sheath.
"It reacts to magic and increases its power. To be able to use that sword freely, it's on your arm."
Ganak says. Sophia nodded small - now Silvi pulled out her sword.
In a crimson sheath different from Sophia's, she is covered in silver. It is somewhere fantastic to be illuminated by the sunlight entering through the window and glowing.
What makes them look much different is taking into account their characteristics?
"Luon...... are you sure?
Sylvie confirms here. In the stage of creating the two swords, she said, "I'll pay for it," but I pushed it through to the end, "thanks for fighting with Sophia."
"Oh, I don't mind. Instead, stay active."
"Whatever."
"I wish I could have had something made too"
Kuuza says as he looks at the weapons around him. I shrug my shoulders and thank Ganak.
"Thank you"
"I pray for your good luck"
They drop me off and leave the store. Well...
"It's time to get back on the road. Our next destination is the Kingdom of Alastin."
"So maybe this sword will work."
Sylvie says as she lays her sword on her hips. I'll keep the original sword, by the way.
"Maybe so...... well, let's go"
With my words, it begins to move forward. What events await us in the Kingdom of Alastin… imagining all things, we were to leave the town.
