Sword of the Philosopher

Conversation with the King

Me and Sophia move together - the destination is the Knights with Eina who perform the events of the Five Demons. Nevertheless, there are places I have to go before then.

"Dear Mr. Luon, thank you"

"Okay."

Sophia heads to her father, King Barks - we have exercised fast moving magic and started moving toward our destination.

"Speaking of which, I just wanted to say hello too"

Raefin says. I kind of asked her a question.

"You were sneaking around a lot before the Demon King invaded, weren't you? Have you ever seen a king?

"Of course there is."

... Ask me, what is it of course?

"I've never talked irrespective. If this isn't the case, I'd like to talk a lot about it."

"That's going to be after all the battles... Sophia, if you're tired, tell me. It's a long road. I don't care if they fall in here."

"I know, sir"

Thus we exercised our magic and hurried ahead.

The journey to the place where the king was located went smoothly without anything to say. He also continues to observe the Phillies and Einas involved in the events with the Five Demons, but he seemed likely to have time to talk to the King because the events themselves would require a lot of time.

That's how we got to the mansion...... that place on the edge of the realm of the kingdom of Barks was exactly what could be described as a safe house surrounded by mountains.

"This is... the mansion that Mr. Fuole's brother, the Knights Deputy Commander, owns, right? Let's go in."

As we approach, weird tensions strike all over our bodies. No, I just know I won't be attacked all of a sudden.

Approaching the Mansion. I don't know if there are any lookouts around, but the air flowing around the mansion seems stiff compared to the serene scenery.

Now, when I wondered how they would react... the mansion door opened.

It just came out of the...

"Princess...!

It was me. You look stunned from the bottom of your heart at the emergence of the princess.

"Princess, why are you here...!?"

"What about your father?

I don't answer questions, Sophia asks. Fuole then looked at me... I saw Sophia who wouldn't let me say whether or not she was there, and I replied.

"I'm in the mansion...... I later learned about Lord Auda, the princess's master. I was worried..."

"I'll explain what's going on around there. Go to your father."

"I understand. So, how about this one?

I'm the one pointing at me and asking. Then Sophia, after a little reticence,

"Mr. Leon is in his room."

"- Okay. Then, Master Luon, come here."

... Extremely natural, the knight obeys Sophia, the princess. But when I see her giving instructions to the knight, I understand again that you're a princess.

Me and Sophia go into the mansion. I wondered how Sophia would explain me... but I dared not mention anything and decided to wait.

When I was sent to the guest room, I was served tea and I just had to wait. I'm not in the kind of situation where nobody visits me, even if I have trouble treating you as a person in the mansion, or if Sofia has instructed me to, or if I haven't had one of my surveillance since I was put through the room.

Or maybe the princess shows up and is confused...... roughly an hour or so, when the door to the room finally opens and the knight shows up.

"… the king is waiting for you"

Apparently, I talk to the king. Nod, follow the knight.

You will be taken to the second floor of the mansion to reach the back room. When I opened the door, there was a king sitting on a superior couch in the front.

"I've been waiting"

Say a word and point to the couch face to face.

"Have a seat."

I go into the nodding room. A knight closes the door, and only my footsteps rule the room.

There is no Sophia. Apparently, they talk to each other face to face, and I'm getting kind of nervous.

"Well... first of all, I have to tell you"

says the king. I don't think it's any worse than saying "Your Highness" to me.

"Thank you for protecting my daughter so far"

- I intuited that the word had strong connotations, not as a king, but as a father. However, as far as I was concerned, I got a thankful, nearly bewildered look.

"No, because it is true that... even though I have drawn her intentions, I have fought in various places"

"You were supposed to bring me to this mansion, weren't you?

"That's what I thought. But..."

"He said he had been brought into a situation where he had to admit Sophia"

Sophia told me what I tried.

"I was briefed about you. Nevertheless, I never told you all about it. All I know is that you have the extraordinary strength to fight while protecting Sophia with that power."

The decision not to talk in detail about me would be that I should decide when to speak for myself. I don't know if I can talk to the king... but it's not a good idea to talk weirdly on this occasion, and I'm sorry, but let's keep it quiet on this occasion.

"In that, one interesting point. The power of the wise... that Sophia has brought back from the devil tribe."

"... from the princess, to what extent have you heard?

"The only power of this is the power to challenge the Demon King… I also thought of the possibility of discussing the Demon King beyond being a descendant of a wise man. That's why I let my cousin Eina get away"

Keep her...... waiting for the word, the king went on further.

"I have two powers. This is more than enough power... it's the power of prophecy and the power of seeing others."

"I know the prophecy...... perceive the power of others?

"Um, it was hard for me and Sophia to get away. So let Eina, the most powerful of the royals, escape as a priority."

- In the game, he wasn't touched on how it went around there. Well, the king in front of you is someone who would otherwise die at the beginning of the scenario. Is it also natural that we cannot talk about the situation?

"... one, would you mind?

In that, I ask questions.

"I said the power I predicted earlier..."

"I've had a good idea since I was a little girl... but I grew up, and after looking into it, I found that apparently it was due to the power of prophecy"

"To the princess, too, the signs show. Most likely not as powerful as His Majesty."

"Mm-hmm. I guess it just meant I had a little bit of that power. It should be slight compared to the wise man himself... but anyway, I foresaw it and thought it would be okay to entrust your daughter to you. That was a brilliant prediction."

... Was that why the king had identified me? Considering, for example, that Richard, descendant of the wise man, likewise had the power of prophecy, it may be his ability to appear abruptly among descendants.

"No, no matter how much His Majesty mentions it, it is true that as far as I'm concerned, I sent the princess to a dangerous battlefield."

"Sophia would have fought one day, even if she hadn't acted with you. Rather, that will may have brought disaster on the contrary. I am grateful to you for having taken good control of it."

That's what you said... I drowned my head in silence. The king thanks me again and goes on to talk further.

"And it's about the future. They're trying to get to Eina."

"Yes, because an important battle awaits"

"Sophia didn't even talk about the area in detail, but I guess you have an idea. Sometimes I don't listen, and the earliest Sophia's power is higher than the Knights face. There's nothing we can do to stop it... please, my daughter."

"-Okay."

I snorted, and the king smiled at me.

"We move out immediately, too. Looks like a big fight is holding off. Meanwhile, we're going to move. I'm sorry for everything you've done, but I want you to do your best."

"Yes, of course."

Answer me - I left the room.
