Sword of the Philosopher
Candidate for Emperor
"There are two main ways to do it. The first is to use magic at about the same time as the time you rewind time the first time. I need some magic on this, but I don't need anything else."
Richard, who said that much, puts down a beat and goes on even further.
"For the first time, I need the right amount of magic, but after the second time, if it's around the same time, I can use magic if I have some leeway"
"I see...... but I have one question"
I remember how the game works, and I talk.
"The story was only about a few months long. And given that it was in parallel with the battle of the Shergia continent, I think that period is long gone"
"In this case, we should assume that Nehmeisa did not die, as in the story"
It was Exon who opened his mouth.
"Given the unexpected events in the battle against the Demon King, it would be more natural to assume that Nehmeisa was escaped in the battle of this continent."
"I see...... sure"
"Besides, if the battle had shifted according to the mysterious path of the story, Nehmeisa wouldn't have had time to master space-time magic or anything else. It's more natural to think that you've learned magic somewhere to escape and recover."
Exon is right. Richard snorted loudly to agree, and continued.
"The second is, if you had a lot of temper"
"Cheerful?"
"It's a coincidence that I got this book on magic, but apparently this is an improvement on what the Demons developed for human use. Nevertheless, the method itself has not changed so much that we need to be curious."
That's it, Richard puts his head on.
"In my case, I could have figured it out because I could have produced demons with local power... here's my question to the Marquis. Do dragon men have the ability to create temper?
"There isn't. If we gather the demons, we may be able to do something about it... but Nehmeisa may not know the truth because she's uncomfortable."
- It is unlikely that Nehmeisa will be able to return at the moment, although it cannot be determined by Richard's words.
"Richard, I understand your story. I don't know if it's the same magic, but I also share the view that Nehmeisa can't start over right away due to constraints. Regardless, that doesn't mean I'll do whatever I want. If you want to bring the two remaining Marquises to your side, let's talk under the water."
I agreed and nodded - and here Exxon turned his gaze to this one.
"I'm going to change my story... about the candidacy for emperor. Is there any reason you didn't give us that detail earlier?
... There's no deep sense in just thinking that Abel won't be able to handle it.
"No, it's information approaching the core, so once I had it sorted out in my head, I was going to talk"
"Right."
Exon put in between. Often silence flows through the room.
"... is that the girl?
"Oh."
Abel also turns her gaze to this one with a strange look on her face. He seemed to think there were more things going on than I had with him, and I'm not surprised.
This is the place to be surprised.
"Mr. Luon, this is my guess... but isn't that what you asked to accompany Katra, too?
"Correct."
"What!?"
Apparently Abel was also surprised by this.
"However, given that it was a no-mark about her, maybe she's never been a candidate for emperor before"
"Then that girl is the top candidate...... is that you, Romilda"
"No, I have another candidate than that"
Notice who Exxon and Abel are in my words... I told them in the course of the conversation... well sooner or later I'll know, okay?
I turn my gaze to Abel. At first, he leaned his neck in return.
"... Huh?
It was a loose voice in between. Well, that's what happens.
Or I can only be surprised on the day when suddenly they say, "You are the candidate for emperor" and so on. And yet, who I think everyone on this occasion should be the most emperor. As a result,
"I see, this is interesting"
Exon says as he puts his hand on his mouth. I hid it, but I also found myself distorting the edge of my mouth and laughing.
"I guess Abel should be you rather than leave the Emperor to the girl"
"Hey, give me a minute"
"Abel, tidy up your head a little bit... Luon, if that's the case, I'll move so he can be emperor"
Something, a delightful look. I just don't know. If we could make him emperor here, it would be obvious that it would be easier to talk through things as a marquis.
"Rather, I hope this is easier to understand. We've made up our minds. Three things."
"Three?"
"Uhm. One is Abel. Making a basement for you to be emperor... regardless, the fact that he is an emperor candidate will need to be shown as natural in the battle. The second is the workmanship to end the battle with this victory. You know, pulling the Marquis into your side, turning the Knights back."
"And the third is the countermeasure of Nehmeisa, who repeats this battle,"
"Hmm. If we do these three things, it will be a victory for nature and us."
"It's easy to say..."
I tell the Marquis as I arm myself.
"Increasing Mr. Abel's visibility, with the Marquis's power, wouldn't matter. I agree there."
"Oh."
"But there's one problem. There's a deadline."
"Richard, based on your assumptions, you want to clean up before they use magic on you."
"Oh. He said two months until the completion of the artificial dragon. If so, I think we need to settle it by then."
"So you think that's the deadline... even for me, I'd like to beg your pardon for an unscrupulous weapon called an artificial dragon or something to be activated. You're gonna have a headache, considering the damage."
"By then, can you do what I just said?
"I guess that means you have to"
- This time, we're going to need to hurry, even compared to the battle against the Demon King.
However, the course of action has already been decided, and you don't have to fly around like before......? It's a subtle thing when people say which is easier.
"It's a waste of time, but I'm sure it'll take a few days for the weapon. Until it's done, what do we do?
"As for the Marquis' persuasion, it's better after the weapon's done."
"I guess. It takes a lot of effort to get more allies on this one... well, working with Cheon will work it out enough. Problem is, Nehmeisa's taken care of."
"How to prevent space-time magic and defeat him,"
"Do you have any ideas?
My gaze gathers to me. Sophia and Richard seem to be thinking about it too, but they want to hear their opinions.
Exon is waiting for an answer. Plus, I'm thinking about Abel as I head over if I'm not ready to sort it out yet.
In the meantime, I open my mouth.
"Richard, if he's in a state where he can use magic, can't he prevent it? It means we're failing to stop him, too, than we are in this world."
"When I was you, once you used magic, you had no other constraint than to diminish your magic."
"For example... if his magic is activated, can't you force him to disarm it?
"Find out if you have the means."
"Okay. Then Richard needs to focus on finding out the magic."
"What about me?
Sophia's words. I turned my gaze to her,
"You're working with me. Assume and respond to all situations so as not to let Nehmeisa get away"
"It's easy to say with your mouth, but it's very difficult"
Exon words. While I was agreeing with that in my mind - I said.
"Richard looks into magic... and I decide to move to stop Nehmeisa's magic the way I can think of it"
