Sword of the Philosopher

Wizard's Weapon

The wizards who were attacking the giant beast put a small hand on their right arm. Do you enhance the magic...... no, if that works, you should be equipped from the start. You have another purpose?

The wizards move while they wonder. Everyone thrust their right hand into the demon, and the magic began to converge.

The blue and white light gathers in everyone's right arm. Then it was shot out like a laser - landed on a giant beast.

The sound of thunder strikes my ear. Apparently it's a lightning attribute attack... but yeah, it's not working.

"Oh, you're doing it"

Voice from side to side. You see, the warriors heard the same noise as we did.

Across the valley and on the other side, there are other fighters besides wizards. It's like a wild horse... but don't you just do something that moves to defeat the enemy in front of you?

So, in the meantime, the wizards launch an extended attack... but it's not working. The giant beast walks flat and slightly.

"You've developed another weird weapon."

One of the warriors raised his voice to the lid. The atmosphere seemed to know something, so I ask.

"You know about those wizards?

"Oh, I know you. Maybe Rayce, your boy's private soldier."

"Reis?

"I'm a nobleman of this country, Leis-Lutana. They're developing a magic weapon, and from time to time, they're going to step into the demon's nest and do demonstration experiments."

"If so, is it not related to the feast?

"Sounds like you're in for once. But we're fighting together, not individually. Besides, my Rayce boy of the day is when he doesn't fight. I'm sure you can guess the medals you won."

... From the mouthfeel, it doesn't seem very well thought out.

Well, I got the information. Apparently, the small hand equipped on his right arm is a weapon he developed.

"Normal demons seem to work well enough."

Says as Sophia looks at the wizard who keeps attacking like no other. Sure, it's zero effect against giant beasts, but it's going to be an effective hit against normal demons.

Eventually, the wizards will finish the attack. But I'm waiting with my little hand off... waiting for an order?

"I wonder what I'm going to do"

A warrior says, in an atmosphere like this. The basic giant beasts aren't attacking, so the wizards can be as ready as they want.

If it's ineffective to expose a large number of people to magic, we probably focus on attacking one point next... and started acting as expected. When the wizards raise their hands simultaneously, magic is created simultaneously.

"Do you mean to collect and unleash the magic of multiple people"

Sofia looks interesting.

"This kind of thing, all the basically in tune have to do chants etc..."

"If you use that weapon, you can activate magic by ignoring the conditions."

The moment I speak, the magic of the wizards begins to converge over the head of the giant beast. The white light stays in the air from the small hand, which gradually grows larger.

A dozen magical powers have been brought together. Sure seems powerful...... and the magic finally activates. Sounds like a lightning strike, and white light pours down on the giant beast!

The light fills the valley, and some of the warriors marvel... eventually the light goes out. And what I saw was... the appearance of a giant beast that didn't change anything.

"You're not working"

"I mean, you can't call that a success right now."

And Gark spoke.

'Gathering magic doesn't mean that you can use it for as little as an attack... you need to train. Maybe you thought you could save that training with that little hand, but that's not how it seems.'

"Conversely, you think if you take full advantage of that little hand, you can give it the power to fight that demon?

When asked in a whisper because there were also people's eyes, Garc responded 'I wonder'.

'Cause there 'll be a lot of other obstacles... for that matter, Princess Sophia's magic will work better'

"Right... Sophia"

"Yes."

"Why don't you try shooting magic into that demon?

- While I'm talking about that, some warrior or someone is throwing fireballs at me. You're doing whatever you want because you're safe up there.

I mean, the giant beast just doesn't feel like we're gonna do something about us up in the valley just walking. It would be annoying from demons...... but if these demons go outside, they will do a lot of damage. If you can defeat it, you should.

"I don't know if it will work..."

"For one thing, yeah. Can I have your head or something aimed at you with the magic of thunder?

She does the nodding magic prep. After completing the magic convergence in just a few moments, Sophia unleashed 'Lightning'.

A glimmer of thunder pierces the head of the giant beast - it just couldn't penetrate or anything. But with the sound I could play, the giant beast's movements slowed.

"... is it working?

"Sounds like it."

Oh, he's shaking his head. It seemed to have had little effect. But if it's her magic, it doesn't matter if there's any more damage.

"Hmm, maybe that doesn't mean that the demon is just sturdy."

Garc once again speaks here. What's this all about?

"Within the valley, there is considerable magic. That power is apparently on the side of that demon. '

"What do you mean?

"The magic of demons and the magic of the valley are in tune, generating natural and magical barriers... which means they are much more defensive than normal in the valley"

I see, does that have anything to do with preventing the Wizard's onslaught... I can't deny the possibility that the vegetarian attack isn't strong enough either.

Hmm, Sophia's attack worked though... and it's your hand to shoot and defeat the magic from the top like this.

The arrowheads, the wizards, who thought of that moved even further. You still got your hands?

"Everybody, stand down!

Commander's voice. If I wonder what I'm going to do, I'll start the magic convergence again. You mean a second shot?

"Dear Luon, what do you want to do?

Sophia asks. Um, you can go into battle like this, but you don't know what happens when the demons put their real hips in. Should the wizards stop attacking here and set it up when the wild horses disperse?

When I came to that conclusion and tried to open my mouth - the change happened.

Suddenly, the giant beast roars. It reached us up in the valley, and it was so loud that my body was about to shake.

If, to fight back - when I thought about it, I felt signs behind my back.

"What...?

Look, there's a demon there sometime.

"This is..."

"Is it natural to think that you called,"

Gark says. Does that mean that giant beast has the power to summon demons?

"Fight!

When one of the warriors raises his voice, the faces that were wild horses enter the combat posture. I thought we'd join... but somehow the giant beast cares more and shifts his gaze.

Where the wizards were about to make further attacks, a change happened. One of the wizards on the other side of us suddenly interrupted the magic.

Probably obstructed by demons… As soon as possible, a commander-like figure screams.

"You! What are you doing -!"

Shortly after I said that, Sophia raised her voice, "Ah." Moving his gaze, he was thrust out of the woods - one blonde man nearly fell into the valley.

"- Whoa, whoa!?"

Is that the commander? I thought once I didn't help him, he either used the magic of the wind or stopped moving in the air.

Keep floating... but men don't move.

It's not good.

Gark said.

"Perhaps the magic of the valley affects it and the magic of that one is weaker than usual. If we leave him like this, he'll fall and feed the giant beast. '
