Sword of the Philosopher

Enemies lurking in caves

The said place is an open space, but because it is a battlefield, walls and ground have been destroyed for a long time.

And it was the dragon that appeared in front of us... not as big as the giant beast, but still big in the dragon, with red skin and scales as far as we can tell by the light.

So, that dragon is throwing flames at another light that's different from ours... alts?

"You're leaving."

When Sophia says, I can see the Lord of Lights fighting dragons pulling back.

"Let's get that far...... but will the dragons alert us"

We have lights, too. It's not even a situation where you can turn it off and move it.

When I was worried for a moment about what to do, the dragon's neck turned this way. Have you noticed a new intruder?

- Goaaaaaaa!

It was like a ringing in my stomach. Then the lights that were fighting the dragon retreated backwards at once.

Instead of ignoring... I guess I assumed you'd run away more immediately than relative to such a demon.

"Mr. Alto, is it?

Sophia raises questions... but you don't know until you get close.

"All right, we'll rendezvous."

"What do you do with that dragon?

"Sophia and Romilda should also be ready for magic. I'll make sure to prevent enemy attacks when they arrive."

So start moving. Then the dragon also reacted, spreading its wings wide.

It sounds intimidating, but unfortunately it doesn't work for us.

"Coming."

Gark says. Immediately afterwards, that giant jumps big and comes this way -!

At the same time I opened my mouth wide. Seems to sweep away with braces, but this one was extremely calm.

First I deploy the magic barrier forward. A translucent wall appears between this one and the dragon - the dragon's brace arrives. The flames go wild across the barrier. All the bounced flames poured down on the dragon...... naturally, no damage.

Then the dragon makes an assault on what he thinks - crashing into the barrier. In addition to the momentum, I also considered the possibility of breaking because of some of my magic factors... dragons can't break through and get bounced back.

"Oi!"

Remove barriers. At the same time, Sophia and Romilda's attacks burst - first I wondered if Sophia's lightning attribute advanced magic, Divine Road, had pierced the dragon, and Romilda's purple light struck many dragons.

The roar fills the room. The light stains the cave wide and white, making even the dragon's body invisible.

I'll resume my journey with Sophia and the others because I know it blew away when I looked for the signs. Immediately after, a heavy sound and vibration called Zdon. I hear the dragon crashed into the wall.

Eventually, when the light subsides, we discover the light that retreated into the dragon's onslaught. Running over there,

"... I thought you had an unscrupulous one"

And the man in the lead - Alto shrugged.

"Mr. Luon... I didn't expect to see you here"

"My buddy Rona was worried, and he asked us to do it."

When I answered, Alto frowned.

"My people, I know, why did you tell Mr. Luon? You had a face-to-face?

"There's a name on the bulletin board. So I listened to people and relied on them."

"Oh, you know what?"

Convinced look. Behind it, Caln waved, and Ignos met small.

"Uh, what are we gonna do?

"...... now that Mr. Luon and the others have done something about it, don't get away with it. Let's pull it up."

Alto declares. I nodded and for a moment escaped the cave with them.

"... so I discovered a dragon"

The place changed after hitting. In the woods. Carn and Ignos are either relieved or sitting back, playing Romilda's opponent.

And me and Sophia are going to ask how this happened from Alto. I think it's good to go into a cave and find that dragon.

"We fought for a while, and it didn't seem like we could do anything about it. I tried to escape, but they blocked my exit brilliantly. So, I had no choice but to escape into a small path where the dragon couldn't come after me, and now I've been doing all sorts of things to figure out what to do."

"Didn't you wait for that dragon to pull up somewhere?

"Of course I did. But you care about us. That dragon wandered around that cave everywhere."

So Alto has a deep sigh.

"Luckily, there were no demons in the back of the aisle. It was connected to the underground lake on top, and I had some food, so I managed to..."

"Haven't you had a problem with your temper? Because it was thick, my health and other changes..."

"There was also holy water to be distracted. So, while Ignos was magically trying to get away with the dragon, Mr. Leon and the others came where he had just failed."

"Sounds like it was dangerous."

"Sort of. I'm relieved if people don't come as they are."

Shoulder shrugging alt. I don't really have that vibe from the look on my face though.

"That was amazing, Kako."

And, Caln tells the lid. If you look, you're holding her from behind, sneezing her head and stroking her. Romilda at the time is a puzzled face.

"That purple arrow, it's this kid's attack, isn't it?

"Oh well... or Carn, stop playing with Romilda"

"It's okay because I don't hate anything else. Hey, Romilda?

"Ugh, yeah......"

You're just making me say it, that. I thought about putting in a scratch, but Alto opened his mouth first.

"This cave, there were all kinds of rumors amongst the banquet attendees, so I looked into it with interest... that was way off"

"Rumors?"

"Oh, there's no such thing as a junior demon, only the superior demon... he was right, but he wasn't the one we could do something about."

Alto sighs again.

"You couldn't earn a medal... ma'am, no. So, what's Mr. Luon going to do now?

"What about the alts?

"We'll keep going back. Oh, don't worry, we won't have any enemies if we get to the woods."

... Alto was at war with the Demon King, struggling. That demon was strong, but it would be easy to win in the woods.

"Okay... we'll cave again"

"You mean dealing with that dragon... oh, just one thing that bothers me"

"Do you care?

"I noticed when I was trying to escape a few times that that dragon seems a lot more intelligent"

"Intelligence......?

"Trying to escape would just interfere with it... if that demon was doing it, he would have properly identified our movements"

... Hmm, you're definitely curious.

"Or was someone manipulating that demon"

And this is Ignos' word.

"Further back from where the dragon was... I could see that there was further temper from there, so maybe he was controlling the dragon through temper,"

"It's an incredible story."

Carn continues as he frees Romilda.

"I can't imagine how to properly manipulate such demons. I'm not going to be able to do anything else."

"Or the Demons are pulling the thread... right"

Alto's guess. That'll stick better... Demon clan.

Just this is a continent with angels. The Demons themselves didn't even come out in the game, and that's uncomfortable.

"... thanks for the info. I'll find out if I can afford it around here."

"Oh well. Speaking of which, how did Mr. Luon end up on this continent? Are you gonna be the best at the feast?

"I'm at the banquet, but it doesn't mean we're going to be the pinnacle of it... we want to see angels for a reason"

"To the angel, or"

The expression of an intriguing alt...... but he never asked until everyone.

"And Mr. Luon, are you taking the inn in town?

"Richard's in town"

"Is that guy with you... ok. Can I show my face to him?

"I don't mind."

"Okay, then I'll be waiting for you in town. We'll talk later."

That's how Alto and I walked away... Hmm, sounds like you want to hear about our trip. Let's think about what to do when we get home.

"Master Luon, would you like to come in?

Sophia asks. In front of me is the same cave that peeks into the darkness.

"Sophia, Romilda, how are you feeling?

"No problem"

"I'm fine too."

"Then..."

I look into the cave and tell.

"That dragon... and what Ignos was saying, to figure it out"
