Sword of the Philosopher
# 1 person
A few days after the battle with Villaiser - me and Sophia were put through by Devals to meet a certain person.
His opponent is the # 1 swordsman of the Medal for being a participant in the Angel Feast. I know the name because it is also on the bulletin board.
"Master Luon, aren't you twitching something?
Sophia next to me asks on the way to the designated store.
"Mmm, well..."
"He was reincarnated."
"Oh, you want to hear a little more about that area."
- I don't think you have the same history as me. It's just that I'm kind of more concerned than I've been told about reincarnation. Besides,
"Most importantly, he has considerable ability to attack demons. I've had my magic checked before, and I've found out a lot about it, and they have a magic distribution that is common to people who have followed a strange fate in it."
"A strange fate?
"That's the reincarnated person, like me."
Sophia keeps her mouth shut on these words.
"If this hypothesis is true, it is possible that the person in the first place of the feast we are going to meet this time will have the same nature... if so, he is fully earning his medal for ignoring his traits... according to the story, he is fighting alone, and it is difficult to defeat demons due to their magical nature, as I do, what a hard thought"
"I mean, there's some means that might help solve Mr. Luon's problems," he said?
"That sort of thing. Might get better information from his way of fighting than being a hunter of the same demons"
"What would you do if you were dealing with it with your senses?
... that's not a zero chance either.
"Ask the angels to look into it."
"Oh, that would certainly be the best part"
We finally got to our destination while we were having a conversation. The shop designated by Devals is a beautiful cafe.
Once inside, Nell stood at the entrance.
"Hi, they're already waiting."
"How much do you know about us?"
"About you and Princess Sophia, and the fact that you defeated Villaiser."
That's enough for now... me and Sophia follow Nell's guide to our seats.
As we approached, Devals waved first. Next to it, the person in question sat.
"... nice to meet you"
At first glance, the impression is that a good young man - that's also neat. Is your hair more gray than silver? Face is straight and defenseless.
And yet, its strength is real... its name is -
"His name is Alan-Wilty. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Be well... and smile at us. That look was perfect again, and I honestly admired it so much.
Me and Sophia will take a seat after we introduce ourselves to him. Sitting opposite Devals and Alan, shaped like having Alan in my front.
"I asked you what happened."
The first person to open his mouth was Alan.
"Fallen Angel Crusade… I heard that there was such a big job, and I wanted to cooperate, and this time I was invited by the angels."
Looks like you're motivated enough.
"I have already spoken with Mr. Devals and I think I will be working with you from now on."
"Oh well... I'm glad that one of the banquets will be joining us."
"No, I think you're buying it."
Alan laughing bitterly. Um, there's a humble side to it.
"Well, as for Mr. Luon, I think you're interested in him... let me talk to you first about the Fallen Angel Crusade"
Yes, Devals mentioned it and started explaining it to us.
"The fallen angels that remain today... do not know where Rostaldo is. He says he doesn't know anything other than that the amberate who joined him is also in the sky, and is currently under investigation. They won't let me grab their tail so easily than they were an ancient angel, so give me time."
"I don't mind that...... no movement after the Villeser crusade?
"I'm glad you had some reaction, but that doesn't sound like it."
Then I guess that means Rostaldo doesn't intend to change his original plan even if he's defeated Villeser.
"Kokang is going to continue for a while...... but in the meantime Mr. Luon and the others will train with Mr. Alan. I wonder if there will be collaboration in some cases. Oh, because this isn't compulsory. Consider what you're gonna do with him."
"Am I good?
"Mr. Leon is the star of the Villaiser crusade, and most importantly, I have to lead the angels."
... I'm in trouble for being all unscrupulous, but I'm pretty sure I'm the head of the heavenly realm. Looks like he's struggling out of our sight after all.
"The way he fights is right-attack anyway. The same goes for the big demons... maybe that's the root of his strength"
It's not that big of a deal.
Alan put the cross spear in. I knew you were humble. Well, it's troublesome the other way around when someone like you is prestigious and rotten, and this is it?
"It has already been proven at the point of first place on the feast about strength, but we will have to be sure again about its abilities and so on. I'll take care of it."
"That's a lot."
"I've been busy with Rostaldo."
You have no choice but to be the head of the heavens. I'm sorry, but let's get you to work hard until we find Rostaldo.
"That's all about fallen angels...... no, I waited. I don't know about the Anverate, but I think it'll probably be treated the same way as Mr. Leon and the others."
"... does that mean you're gonna fight with us?
"I don't know if Anverate would agree with that, but yeah. I just can't do that because many of the heavenly ministers disagreed with me about entering heaven."
"Even though we have allies, they are fallen angels. I don't think there's any reason why angels should be on guard."
"That's what I'm talking about... that's all I'm talking about from here. Any questions?
"Then you can start here, okay?
Hands up, Sophia.
"What's the story since we found the base of the fallen angel Rostaldo?
"I don't know if I'm going to get right into it until then. For example, if there were demons or something in the base, it would be just as tough to step right in even if you found them. It's ad hoc."
And here Devals turned his attention to me and Alan.
"It's just, well, you're never getting pessimistic. We also have a reliable power. As for Rothald's main office, we'll pass along the way, so thank you very much."
"Okay."
When he heard this reply, Devals said a word, "Please,"
"Well, then I guess I'll be dispersed."
"Is that enough?
"We've already done what we did to Mr. Alan. All you have to do is deepen your interaction there and prepare for the next battle. And, Mr. Leon, I'll be in touch if there's any progress on your assignment."
Yes, I told him unilaterally. Devals took his seat and left the store with Nell. It was me and Sophia who were left, Alan. Slightly, however, subtle air wraps around.
Now, I want to ask you something... but suddenly, isn't it a good idea to cut right out about reincarnation?
"... Mr. Alan, how did you get enough strength to be first on the feast?
"I'm never doing anything weird. Just one thing, I knew the answer to getting stronger."
From the mouth of it, you don't seem to be hiding anything in itself. I told the angels, and they're going to talk to me if I follow the course of the conversation here.
"Mr. Alan, what did you know?
"It's..."
To my question, Alan spoke slowly.
