Sword of the Philosopher
The biggest enemy.
All right, everybody, get ready to go in.
Devals tells us to move. The lead is Anverate. There's me behind that step, my people behind it. My user demon, Les Bailes, is at the rear. This is an Anverate instruction.
"Lilito, do you receive reports from time to time? Just tell me when you decide it's okay."
"Yes… for one thing, the area around the entrance was suppressed"
Only the angels are moving at the moment, but no problem so far?
"He seems to be engaged with the Heavenly Devil, but he seems to be able to destroy it"
"That's good enough... Nell, I'm gonna ask you to do what you're supposed to do"
"Yes."
Instructed, Nell nods - and
"Dear Devals, I think we can do this."
"Okay, then, Mr. Luon"
Devals tells us.
"Please... give me Rothald"
"Oh."
At the same time as the reply, Anverate first goes over the magic formation. Shortly afterwards, its body is wrapped in light and its figure disappears.
Then me and my people behind me moved out and onto the magic team. Wrapped in a floating sensation for a moment - I was in a castle with a black tone, not a meadow in front of the palace, if I noticed.
"This is Rostaldo's …"
"I'm coming!
Anverate screams. At the same time, I look around. Perhaps this is the entrance and you can see several aisles directly in front of it.
Yet there are also some angels... then one of the angels turns his neck here,
"Master Luon, you're Mr. Anverate, aren't you? We know what's going on. Here's the right passage."
That said, the soldier shows a single passage with his hands. We push towards it, down the hall.
The right hand is a wall, but on the left is a structure with columns lined up and visible outside from its clearance. At the end of the gaze were vast mountain ranges - those natural landscapes illuminated by the sun's day were powerful enough to make us forget for a time that this was the home of our enemies.
And as far as the landscape is concerned, there are no mountains higher than where we are. Do you mean this is the highest point where you are now? Is this exactly what Devals told you?
"The angels seem to have defeated us a lot."
Anvelate squeaks at the lid. I have no enemies around me... but I can hear the explosion from afar, so I'm pretty sure we're fighting.
For one thing, it seems to be working on measures to combat fallen heaven. First gate is clear... No, wait.
"Isn't there a zero chance of luring the angels into decadence at the same time?
"It could be, but then you'd be doing it at the time you stepped into the entrance. It won't diminish your power, and if you succeed, you can reverse the Transition Magic Formation and attack the heavens."
Yeah, you sure do.
"Things are going well at the moment, I don't know."
I peek at the sides of the Anverate. I'm smiling, but it's a lot harder than anything I've ever seen.
It can be interpreted more naturally than it is the home of the enemy, but it seems a little different from the rest of us - I get the impression that we are working on it with a laugh.
Is there still more power in my body than a legitimate place to settle with a vengeful opponent... that's how I interpreted it, arrow tip, through the hallway and out into a wide space.
That's where the angels are engaged with the demons. Just a number of dominant angels are pushing out angels and are able to deal with little damage.
"... Hmm, that's odd"
Sophia shrugged here.
"At first glance, it would be reasonable to interpret that the enemy side has not been able to cope due to unexpected force..."
"You feel like you're doing too well."
I'll take care of it. My buddies change their expressions because of that.
"Anverate, what do you think?
"Well... if you lure the angels into the back to corrupt them, as Mr. Luon said earlier, it would be tough if there wasn't enough magic to cover this entire stronghold to corrupt all the angels who haven't consolidated in one place. But it doesn't seem like that kind of magic is being planted from me."
"I agree."
Garc's voice. He appeared on his right shoulder, as usual.
"From my eyes, the angels are pushing me… it also looks like a performance about this, but it doesn't seem like there is a clear trap."
"Um, you mean there's still something in Rothald?
Don't make it any easier. I put a scratch in it. How much is it...
'Possibilities, right...... I don't see Rostaldo as a force of war about his own celestial demons, and he may have intentions, such as using angels to lure them to his place'
"To corrupt you?
'It may or may not be'
I can't ask you about sincerity, and can you help me with all this?
"... okay. If things are going well, let's move on. Whatever the circumstances, we're going to go where Rostaldo is - even there."
"Umm."
"That's what I'm talking about."
Anvelate shrugged her shoulders once,
"Nevertheless, there are also a number of passageways in this space......"
I got a nigga. They've figured out the right way.
"This way."
Looks like you've reached some depth and figured out signs of Rostaldo. I move on with her lead. For a moment I thought about engaging with the devil, but the angels told me to "go ahead" and never let us fight.
I don't know what kind of explanation you gave, but Devals talks about us properly... there's a fallen angel, Anvelate, so I may have some thoughts, but I'm not putting it on the table and I'm on a mission.
Then, until we rewarded it - while we were thinking, a heavy black iron door appeared in front of us.
"Being in the back is something you really want to do."
Anvelate squeaks. Maybe there's a Rostaldo behind this door, and that room is like the Throne Room or something.
"You're lucky to have come so far without any obstacles... are you all ready?
I nod with her inquiry. And she smiled - still hard somewhere - and she touched the door.
As soon as possible, open slowly. A heavy noise echoes in the aisle and the back room reveals itself.
"For one thing, you're right."
Rothald grunts. The room is the most throne-like place in the back, so it still seems to be that kind of room.
"Not an angel, Anverate... trump the man who started you"
"While I was anticipating, is there a reason why I dared to move this one forward?
"Until I decided I'd rather be even stronger myself than increase my power, such as by increasing my distribution. If you guys do something about it, you're gonna get your prospects."
- So you focused on getting ready to fight us?
"I'm not as handicapped as a human being to you... although it's not strange to think so"
"You got to be kidding me. There is no one who is shown all that power in the previous battle and who is not alert"
When Rostaldo responds, he gives me his gaze.
"Let's continue with the last battle. God challenger... let's decide which way is right here and now"
"Oh, just what I want"
Into the hall. When everyone was finished coming in, the door slowly closed.
"Unless my will or my magic is uninterrupted, the door won't open. Let's get to the end of this."
- There's a magic barrier all over this room.
Gark's voice echoes on his head.
"Probably a barrier to quarantine... in the form of blocking our own exit, but we can't escape either"
"Here's an absolute statement of intent to settle."
Rostaldo - if he doesn't crush us by then, he's broken.
I mean, he saw us as his biggest enemy.
"Humans, and Anvelates"
Rostaldo tells, gathering magic in both hands.
"Which is up there - let's start the fight"
Unleash the power. At the same time, my people moved out.
