Sword of the Philosopher

Magic Distortion

I tried to get into the investigation the next day as there was no particular problem with me going outside the day we talked... but here's one problem.

Well, I don't know... I talked to Eina where Sophia was, and I'm sorry, too.

"So I will accompany you"

In addition to the festival, I said that Sophia, who should have a lot to do, would follow. No, well, that was in the prediction range, but it was just making me high that I wouldn't be able to because there are events.

But she couldn't have stopped when she said, "No," and I was eventually supposed to accompany her... I haven't heard what the hell happened. It was probably tough because Eina or something has her head rather. Yeah, I'm scared to ask.

In the meantime, I decided not to pinch my mouth about accompanying you - the next day. Me and Sophia normally went out through the castle gate and further out of town.

Honestly, I thought about Eina would be something to go with, but without it, it's just me and Sophia in the end. According to her, there are aspects that persuaded her to "accompany Master Gark," and for now, the reliability of the Divine Spirit has allowed her to make these journeys.

... You won't be able to say anything if they put the Spirit out to attract you. Instead, I thought Garc wouldn't get angry or anything when they put me out for a meeting.

"If it's going to be unobstructed for the two of us, it doesn't matter."

Light acknowledgement. This is how the investigation was supposed to be conducted.

"Dear Luon, it's not that far to your destination, and let's make our way with traveling magic"

"Yeah, I guess so."

The time is morning. It's still time for the dewstore or something, but if you use magic at full speed from here, they'll arrive before noon.

Let's go then.

"Yes!"

I smile at Sofia, who replies well, leaving town. I used mobile magic out of sight - I ran.

Me and Sophia wouldn't have a hard time keeping the magic alive for long. I have been so right after the battle against the Demon King began, and at the time Sophia gained the power to just take on the Demon King... and yet, having survived the battle so far, she has grown enormously - can she be even stronger if she keeps fighting? I doubt it... then I'll have to think about it.

We'll take a few breaks along the way and keep moving... we'll get to the town near our destination.

It's along the trading route that leads to the mountains, and there are inns and liquor stores, but it's big enough to say rural without these two. In the meantime, gather information from only one existing liquor store.

Because people just don't want to talk about the basics of 'hiding God'... so when I started listening, I got valuable information from the guards in this town.

"Speaking of which, before the kingdom of Barks was raided, scholars came here several times."

"What's your name?

"He was Von-Rodest."

Since we have the first and last names together, I don't think I'm wrong about Nork's brother.

"That person was looking into 'God Hidden', wasn't he?

"I heard they were doing that kind of research. But......"

I didn't say any further. Exactly.

"Okay. So where did he go?

"At a point a little further west, there is a demonic habitat. There's a place for 'divine hiding'..."

Soldiers glance at our faces.

"Earlier, you two said you were looking into 'divine concealment'..."

"I won't go deep. Don't worry."

Reply so and leave the soldier.

"I know where it is...... you want to go now?

"It's about lunchtime now, shall we do it after lunch?"

"Okay, let's do that"

Having lunch at the nodding tavern... speaking of which, it was a much more luxurious meal staying in the castle.

Well I haven't eaten as much as I miss it yet...... do you feel that living in a castle doesn't taste good enough or something to eat on your journey like this?

Having lunch with that in mind...... and finally, the investigation is about to begin.

The place in question, as the soldiers were talking about, is a deep forest, certainly obsessed with the demonic habitat. It had a combination of atmospheres that were hard to come close to from the side.

I first generate Resvail to perform a perimeter magic analysis. Yeah, there's definitely some sort of distortion of magic behind the woods that emits angelic ruins.

"It seems certain that there are angel ruins in the back of this forest... Garc, how about you?

"I agree."

"Nevertheless, you don't feel very strong as far as the outside view is concerned"

state as Sophia looks to the woods.

"It's calm compared to where the demon was activated by the demon king's onslaught."

"Some say we're a lot used to this kind of air... okay, let's find out where the distortion is"

Step into the woods. Deep enough to have trouble seeing if you don't light the lights even during the day when the sun is dim.

The demons... are there, but they're not even close to us or Les Bailes. That's convenient.

"The demon's a lot quieter too."

"Maybe our presence looks a lot more vicious from them. You're on guard with a lot of magic."

Good because it's an atmosphere that won't be a battle for one second...... and stops at the pretend. Sophia walking next door also stopped,

"Is this it?

"Oh, it seems so"

A place without any weird philosophy. I can just tell there's a distortion of magic here through Resbail.

"Garc, this distortion is good with the interpretation that the ruins of an angel are hidden, right?

'I don't know if there's a building, but there's definitely something hidden'

All right, then let's interfere with this distortion and open the entrance to the ruins.

I give instructions to Lesbail. As a result, the armored angel began to interfere with the distortion.

Then the wind temporarily flowed to see if the atmosphere was affected as well. As a result, the space was distorted… Ahead, we saw a bright view of the atmosphere in the same forest but with the sun plunging in.

"Okay, you opened it... said there was a ruin ahead"

"Master Luon, would you like to come in quickly?

"Oh. But just in case... Garc, if we let Lesbail maintain the space, we'll have no problem, right?

"Um, I'll just work with you a little bit."

A split appeared on Resvail's right shoulder. Now there's nothing wrong with that.

"All right, Sophia... come in"

"Yes."

"Garc, I'm going to explore the area of the space first, just for a little while, please. I'll make sure you get orders about Les Bailes, too."

"Okay."

After I heard back, I went with Sophia to the end of the space. At that moment, the air changed.

The deep forest where the temper existed was somewhere disgusting and I still felt the sticky magic on my skin, but not here. To parable...... it is as dry as a wasteland.

"That's a lot different vibe...... Sophia, what do you think?

"How many times have you entered the ruins of an angel, but it's a lot of desolate air"

I walk in the woods while I agree with Sophia's sentiments. The forest seems to be interrupting a little, so I could get out.

Beyond that...

"... Huh?

"To?"

Sophia and I raised our voices at the same time.

Something unexpected jumped in.

"What's this all about?

Sophia doesn't answer my whine...... no, should I say I can't?

At the end of our gaze - at the end of our gaze, the village was visible.
