Sword of the Philosopher

unexpected circumstances

I can see the village - this fact tells the story that we are now. This is not simply the place where the ruins of angels exist.

"Sophia, what do you think of this...?

"A human lost in this space formed a village...? No, I don't think there will be enough people to visit a place like that."

Aside from the soldiers, I heard about the woods where 'divine concealment' occurs, but the people in town were basically trying not to lean over. I mean, Sophia's right, it's hard to imagine forming a village with the number of humans who are encountering 'divine concealment' in that place.

"... possible is that all humans who encounter 'divine concealment' are brought here, or something"

Sofia's opinion. Sure, then... I can understand the situation in front of me to some extent.

"For one thing, do you want to check the village?

"Yes, that's right... no, shouldn't we report it here once"

... I can't see people from here as far as I can confirm from a distance... that's just a phantom, and in fact it's possible that the ruins of an angel are showing a fake.

"Right, it doesn't seem like we can simply look into the ruins of an angel..."

I look around. The wilderness stretches around the forest. At least I don't see anything that looks like a relic.

"This space is a lot bigger in the first place. Is it reasonable to pull it up, report it to the castle, and revisit it it?"

"Well, let's go back once."

Sophia tells me to turn back. But there are more and more things I don't know... villages, not angel ruins, huh?

We tried to get back once because of the crap and the bushes... but I noticed it there.

"Is that it?"

Stop whining. Sophia also guessed and stopped on her feet.

"Hey, wait a minute... no"

The distortion of the space opened by Resvail is disappearing.

"Hey, Resbail"

I'll call you...... but

"... resbail?

I tried to speak up, but no response... this is, if...

"... Left behind?

"Le, Master Luon! Lord Gark!?"

Sophia also raised her voice about whether she thought this was a bad idea. So I tried to call Gark, but there was no response either because the body itself was outside.

Though outside, the magic is somewhat linked. I mean, if I was supposed to take my body off, I could have a long conversation, like I was reading.

"No, wait a minute. Exactly. Garc and Lesbail will notice this. And as soon as we do, we'll distort the space."

I stare at you with that in mind. I'm sure the Garcs are working hard to open it up again against the closed space. I mean, you can wait here...

But stop for five minutes. Nothing happens.

"... I have a bad feeling"

"Oh, I have a bad feeling too"

Talk to you both...... With the power of Resbail, can't you open it again?

"Sophia, I think Garc and Lesbail can open up the space again."

"... this is a hypothesis"

Sophia opens her mouth.

"Let's say this space is where the 'god hide' reaches"

"Oh."

"In that case… if there is a village nearby, the first place to be reached by 'divine concealment' can all be considered equally in this forest. Create a village near the starting point and invite anyone who encounters' Divine Hidden '… that's not the intention."

"Might be"

"The entrance is the same for all the places that reach it differently... and no matter how long you wait, Master Luon's use demons can't connect the way again... maybe the 'divine concealment' outbreak points that exist all over the continent... if one of them opens, the others will close -"

"I mean, the road where we were was was closed until just now, and we moved to another place."

Sophia nodded small at the words.

"Maybe that's what this is about...... just a guess"

"... wait a minute, eh? That means the distortion of magic that we perceived as having the ruins of an angel."

"I can think of two ways. One had misidentified it as a path to this space. Or there exists a path that leads to the ruins of an angel apart from the path we have come through. If Knight Nork's brother wrote in the study that there was a distortion of magic in all the places he looked, it's likely the latter."

"Assuming that assumption is correct, by now the Garcs will be ahead of the newly opened space… not right and left in a space with the ruins of an angel that was their original purpose…"

Silence came. No matter how long we wait, Lesbail won't open up the space and show up in front of us.

Apparently, the space I instructed Les Bailes to open was a door that could only be opened once... so apparently me and Sophia ran into 'God Hidden'.

"So. Sofia."

"Yes."

"Is this a bad idea?

Sofia temporarily silenced on the inquiry,

"All the people in the castle, including Eina... there's going to be a fuss."

"I guess. I want to go home as soon as possible..."

I don't want to imagine what Sophia calls a "fuss"......

"I guess we'll just have to gather information first."

Sophia tells. That attitude is extremely calm.

"Let's focus on you more than we've encountered. If you have people in the village, you might have a clue about this place, or about the means to get back."

"... right"

Got to the suggestion, I start walking with Sophia...... just not too nervous. No, well, it does matter, Garc. I'm not so worried about being trapped in this space because of the speculation that the other gods will work hard on the outside and, at the end of the day, angels will also cooperate.

Rather worrying is the side of the kingdom of Barks. Eina or something is going to faint.

"Knight Nork, I wonder if you're all right... because I tried to find out because of him"

"I think Eina will just put in a follow up there...... probably"

"You can't guarantee it."

"Because history is history..."

Because the princess and her fiancée are all of a sudden missing... I hope Garc or something misleads you well, but fulfill...

In doing so, we move through the woods and closer to the village. A little while later, people come out of the house.

The signs are...... yeah, at least it doesn't look like the devil is turning.

So, as we approached... one of the men noticed.

"Are you..."

"Uh, hi."

I don't know how I greeted him... then the man turned his back instantly and disappeared into the back of the village.

"Should I wait?

"Probably."

Then, about five minutes later, another man appeared from behind the village.

Middle meat and a typical wizard figure. Dark hair and a soft grin have an attitude of trying to reassure this one.

"A place like this will suddenly appear and you will be surprised. But don't worry, it's safe in the village. Let's decide how to shake ourselves in the future."

He put his hand on his chest after speaking so early.

"My name is Von-Rodest. I'm a wizard, but I'm also a researcher who was looking into the events you encountered rather than this space…. I'll talk to you, follow me."

- No way, but... is he the brother of Knight Nork? You're safe.

Anyway, first of all, the information... so we followed Von's guidance and stepped into the village.
