Sword of the Philosopher

Negotiation of Demons

The castle I was observing through the demon of use was finally in front of me. I can't be observing you long though.

"The castle gate is closed, but what do we do?

"The answer will come from the Bizel side. You don't want to be ruined."

"If it stays closed..."

"Is it the fusion magic of Mr. Luon and the others... is there going to be that much time?

"Probably."

Shortly after I responded, I began to hear severe noises from the front. If you look at it, the castle gate opens slightly.

"Apparently, we're going to talk."

"Then we 're--"

"Oh, Mr. Luon, Mr. Sophia, please"

That's where Foscia hangs her magic on us... the magic that kills the signs to the extreme. It just expires in a certain amount of time, so we have to hurry.

Sophia, let's go.

"Yes."

With your reply, Sophia and I will begin moving to destroy the weapon. I thought it might be possible to find out because it is the magic of the Demon Clan... but apparently this magic has the effect of protecting it with the magic of the target audience, and it seemed like it could act without being exposed.

On the other hand, I decide to move my little worm-like user demons to near Croix and Aemer and watch them. If anything happens, I or Sophia will have to come back and deal with it.

We bypass the walls and go sideways. And exercise flying magic over the walls.

I was on guard, but there's no sign of him noticing this way. I decide I can, and I send my gaze to Sophia. She nodded and walked straight into the castle.

So, there's a change outside the castle. Appearing from the back of the gate and confronting the Croix, it was an elderly demon clan who was skinny and had multiple wrinkles on his face.

"Well done. You've come this far, Croix, Amel."

- Definitely, he would be Bizell. I don't really see a demon clan with wrinkles, but is that how old they are?

On top of that, he is surrounded by tenacious men who refrain from serving as escorts. The total number of people is ten. That would be tough for Amel to break through that number at once, too.

"I didn't expect the Western Demon King candidates to meet together in this way -"

"Please, Bizel."

Block his voice, Croix speaks.

"Or buy time to form a siege? If that's what you're gonna do, I have an idea."

"... use humans that can't be captured here, huh?

Bizel asks. When Croix answered nothing, the other person breathed.

"Well, I'm concerned about this one, so I'll talk to you before you change your mind... but this is not a negotiation. Orders."

"Surrender, pull up the soldiers, huh?

"You're not. I'll vouch for your life. But instead, give us your territory."

"That's a lot of extrajudicial demand. Let us storm the troops here in the first place and your presence will be crushed to dust."

"Do you really think so?

Bizel asks further... Hmm, I can read what you're trying to tell me too.

Sure Croix is right, I think if we make a fierce offense against him more than the general has come out... but is it real to be in front of us at all costs?

It's also possible that what came out of the table was fake... and Bizel is talking in the dark. Hmm, could the demons who fought on the plains have been separated or something? Well, suppose...

"… at least let's guarantee the safety of the people in the territory"

That's what Bizel says.

"You can't be a demon king without gaining the credibility of the people. I promise you, there's no difference."

"I don't trust you."

"Well, why?

"At least considering the fact that he's bringing villagers back to his castle by calling them evacuation,"

This was half Croix's guess...... and here Bizel started laughing.

"Well, did you notice that there? That's unexpected."

"After all, did the villagers sacrifice themselves?"

"Let's talk about it for a little while...... well it is true that I did take them away. I'm not obliged to tell you what happened to it."

"Where is the guarantee that the people in our territory will not be used for such things?

"I see, it makes sense... but I moved them because you guys moved in tandem. At least if I knew there wasn't a fight, this one wouldn't have made a move either."

"Then it will be certain that it will be a new sacrifice"

"What makes you think that?

"I don't know how, but the villagers' sacrifice is for use in weapons. The weapon was not intended for me or Amel. It must be the one targeting El Asus, right?

To Croix's words, Bizel laughs... it was ugly enough to be sure it was probably the best of this demonic world.

"If you can imagine that much, there's no point in illustrating. Well, I'm ready to handle weapons. At least there's no need to sacrifice a new people in the battle against El Asus."

"If El-Ass rebels, it means we do it."

"I don't think the wise one will know how to fight back. He'll give priority to the people, just like you."

I mean, deterrence... do you mean weapons of war are a threat material? You're not using it the wrong way.

"If you're gonna be okay, it's better for you to drink this request, right?

"... by the way, what happens to us?

"Have me persuade you to dawn your territory in the realm, and then it'll mean surveillance until the battle for the Demon King candidate is over,"

So Bizel stopped laughing,

"If you don't like surveillance, you can run. If there's any certainty that you can make it home safely."

"I won't let you get away with it," he said?

"He came in knowing he was going to be besieged, probably because he's securing his way out. Amel's abilities have increased his power, forcing him to place demons and demons on the plains... and because of his power, he has stepped forward to break through the siege."

Bizel raised his hand gently. Immediately after, a change occurs in the weapons present in the castle.

"But if we lose that power, we'll have to listen to this one."

"... wouldn't it be easy to destroy us if we lost our power?

"If we destroy both in this situation, there will be some rebellion. I don't want that personally. There are two humans there again... who have the power to break the gates of the mountain fortress. With their help, we can crumble this battle, even if we don't want to overshadow it."

- I don't think he will either because if we move flashy, Croix doesn't seem to end up running for Demon King... and here Bizel shrugs his shoulder,

"So this is how we're discussing it. Including demons and demons, we will return them to the land. Then surrender to us and accept surveillance. If you make a mistake, you know that, right?

Croix is silent. How Amel also shuts up and thinks about what to do.

In doing so, only weapons begin to operate - and new changes here. But it is not this castle.

"- Croix"

I speak up through a user demon close to him.

"It's a new change. Bizel..."

"... understood. But I need you to keep up the operation."

Croix puts her hand on her mouth and responds so that she doesn't find out she's having a conversation.

How well you understood what I was trying to say. But the operation continues... and from there, I predict what this battle will be like.

Sophia, let's go.

"Okay."

It's time for the magic to break the signs. But we're close to weapons now.

Magic has gathered in the shell and is starting to prepare to shoot...... if I destroy it with it fully loaded, the magic is going to erupt, but it should still be in time.

Now is the only time... under that idea, me and Sophia ran - to the weapon, fleshy.
