Demon King and Seal

The castle of the Demon King, visible from afar, is pitch-black and floats a lot beneath the blue sky. It is also quite tall and looks more like a building with an emphasis on appearance than on practical aspects.

Since entering the direct jurisdiction of the Demon King, he has felt hard signs, but he can feel even stronger signs from a castle that looks far away.

"Speaking of which, did Croix live in that place, too?

When I asked, Croix looked at the castle,

"Before it's sealed, though."

"... I don't know in detail how it was sealed or anything, but is that an interpretation that there was just a commotion to do it?

"I didn't really understand the situation myself. Demon King... my father didn't want us to stay put, so I sealed it."

"Sealed, I doubt it."

Sophia opens her mouth here.

"I think it's a good idea to hide it somewhere, for example."

"... I thought a lot about that too. In the end, I could only derive hypotheses."

"What's a hypothesis?

against Sophia, who listened back, Croix put some silence on the

"... my father knew that he would be in danger. And without my father, he could have done harm to me and Ange, my children."

"Is that why you sealed it?

"Sealing us, it does hook... but after all these years, we woke up at the same time that our father, the Demon King, woke up"

"... That's kind of a strange story to ask"

And now Amel opened her mouth.

"It's like the sealed demon king and the seals of the croissants are linked."

"I think that's likely... hypothesis is that. The seal was linked."

... If I wake up, at least I won't be in any way harmful to Croix or Ange. You mean that's what you thought?

However, when that happens, the biggest question arises.

"... the Demon King was sealed by a wise man"

"Right."

"In contrast, it is understandable that the Demon King was prepared to start with the Croix and the others... But it feels like I knew the seal would be sealed by a wise man."

"That's where my thoughts don't leave the hypothesis. My father is in action as if he had foreseen being sealed... and sealed rather than destroyed in the battle against the wise. I don't know why..."

"Assuming a hypothesis, there are two possibilities."

Then Sophia starts talking.

"One was that the Demon King feared the possibility of destroying himself by the wise. Therefore sealed himself before he was destroyed. That is, unlike the inheritance, it was not sealed by the hand of the wise"

"If that's the case, then the Wise Men have failed the Demon King Crusade."

Sophia nodded at my point,

"If so, how did the wise man feel..."

"You're not going to get the facts out of that neighborhood just about as much research as you do. Well, it's slightly out of line with the main story, so let's put it away. Sophia, what's the second?

"- The Demon King and the Wise Man have joined forces to seal it"

"Before, I almost immediately denied that there was no such thing."

I respond to Sophia's reference with my head on.

"The existence of 'God' we were involved in… demon kings and wise men would also be involved in it. Something happened because I touched that presence... it doesn't seem like there's any chance."

"You just don't know what you wanted to do, even if you consigned and sealed it. Honestly, I think the second possibility is pretty much zero."

"In due course I guess the first one... suppose it was sealed of its own free will before it was destroyed by the wise... what was the purpose"

"It's also doubtful that quite a few years have passed since the age of the wise. For example, if a wise man is blind, you should unseal him immediately after his death."

... Hmm, there's a lot of inconsistency. Whatever hypothesis you make comes up unconvincing parts.

Clarification of the truth will have to continue to investigate more. I thought maybe if I had that kind of information in the castle of the Demon King... etc., but I can't look it up right now, and I'll have to put it away.

That's how we approach the castle little by little as we have a conversation. I can see some mansion-like buildings on the road...

"Croix, what about buildings outside the castle?

"The mansion where the demons who would otherwise follow the Demon King live... is now deserted though"

Shortly after Croix gave it back, I felt signs directly from the front. There's an arrow tip, a demon clan walking up to us.

He's a man with dark hair, and he looks old enough for what he sees to be nothing more than me or Sophia. Just a plain word for the impression, including the outfit. When such a male demon approached us, he first shifted his gaze to Croix.

"... Long time no see, Master Croix"

"Oh, it's been a long time. Rude."

"Croix, he..."

"That's right. He's the guardian I explained."

Croix asks Rude there.

"You must have information about me. Is this response as a Demon King candidate? Or as the son of a demon king?

"As the son of the demon king, you came here, didn't you?

"That's right. I need you to do something with my authority."

So Rude shifts his gaze to Sophia and me.

"Humans… how powerful are they too?" to bring them back to their original world. "

"They're not the only ones. Me or Ange... move everyone in this room to the original world."

"You too? But it's..."

"It's what I need to do to be the Demon King."

... Rude showing you how to narrow your eyes and think about what Croix is trying to do. If I did, how would I react?

"Hmm, take off the demon kingdom with them..."

Whimpering, Rude turned his gaze to Croix.

"You can imagine what you're going to do while blurring, but I don't think that's a reasonable approach."

"I think the exact same thing. But I think this is the only way to get back from here."

"There seems to be no doubt that it is an oddity during the oddity...... Hmm, but I have heard from my predecessors, the Demon King, that I should not let you be impotent. As far as I'm concerned, it seems rather unscrupulous... to even commit suicide."

"At least I guarantee his safety."

I'll open my mouth to Rude.

"I don't know how much more you can trust me than to be human... but even if Croix's plan fails to succeed, we will protect him and bring him back to this demonic realm"

"I can trust you about them. So please."

Croix says. So Rude took a small breath,

"Totally... even if I'm worried. As far as I'm concerned, I can only follow the instructions. I get it. Let me show you to the door."

Rude shows with his hands a different direction from the castle. Ahead is a building the size of a mansion.

"As for the 'doors' that allow us to enter and exit the demonic world, they are strictly sealed off from being used without permission. When the previous demon kings invaded the world, they lifted the blockade and broadly flew into the world."

"Do you think the Demon King has all the authority to go out there?"

I whine so much about the Demon King candidate. I don't know if Eluaz will try to get outside even if he becomes the Demon King. But Bizell will undoubtedly call for tragedy.

To keep me from doing that, I have to win the fight against him...... I look on Croix's side. Keeping just listening to Rude, he looked somewhat nervous because he was about to go outside.
