Sword of the Philosopher

Unmanned Island

There seemed to be no such thing as demons in the woods, and there was nothing wrong with us getting out. Ahead was the coast, as Croix put it. White sandy beaches exist, with beautiful sights of deserted people... of

"That's..."

I shift my gaze to the right. A corner of the forest is destroyed like a direct hit, even by magic, and there are a number of broken trees.

"We can assume it was a natural phenomenon, but the demon king's subordination must have magically tried and shot it."

Croix Discussion. I said, "Right," while I agreed.

"It was just south of Sherzia. Croix generates demons?

"Right. If you fly at full speed...... there's just some distance. I wish I had a place to rest on the way."

As far as the world map goes, there doesn't seem to be any land... no, there are several islands dotted. But can't we catch this at sea?

For one thing, I have food and stuff ready so I can travel... Hmm, what do I do?

"There are two choices"

And Croix starts talking.

"Normally if you are building a demon, it is not long enough to fly through the sky. Hence the way to proceed across the dotted island. Just looking in the wrong direction can be tragic."

"Well, yeah...... what about the other one?

"Me and Amel pour out our magic to create a powerful demon. That's the devil who can reach the continent at once."

... Sounds like you can fly on a Mach by Mach basis.

"However, if you increase the speed so much, others will be sacrificed... so the demons you generate will be powerless just to travel to the continent"

"You don't have a problem with it because it's only used as a means of travel."

That sounds better than going right and left on the sky.

"As far as I'm concerned, I think the latter is better."

"Right. There is no such thing as a shipwreck at sea. Then get ready. It'll take about half a day, so we're in the wild today."

We had it ready around the corner, and there was no problem... so we got to work quickly.

I'll get ready for camp and Sophia will look around the woods with Ange to procure food. Even so, it's subtle if there's anything you can eat.

So, Croix and Amel start generating demons. It seemed pretty temperamental, and both sides were so focused that this one couldn't speak up.

That's how time passes and eventually we get an evening. The sun is also clearly visible from the east and west stretches of the coast.

"But that's a strange development..."

I don't tell anyone, I squirm. I didn't know you were going to join hands with the Demons and negotiate with your people.

Thinking of the beginning of things, it is a development of rage. The problem is that the national side is definitely making a fuss... well I can't help it all.

It's about Mr. Croix.

Says Sophia, who looks out onto the sandy beach with Ange on the lid.

"As far as I'm concerned, I'm not that worried. If I and Lady Luong persuade you, I think you're all scared."

"I hope so... all we persuade is, for example, the divine spirit, or the head of the heavenly realm, or being at the top. So you might be able to persuade yourself, but will the distribution follow it quietly?"

"Because they are the son of the demon king. Are you sure that's a concern?"

"Croix decided to do something about it... how we can follow up around it."

If only we had a policy, it would seem like something could be done... me and Sophia not only defeated the Demon King, but also saved the land of dragons and destroyed another fallen angel avenging the heavens. Based on these facts, you'd at least listen to us, and even if you were the son of the Demon King, you might agree.

"It's just something I'm personally afraid of,"

And, Sophia goes on even further.

"My lord Luon and I have disappeared… I wondered if the castle people would say anything."

"Uh, right. Should I rather worry about you than Croix?"

We intend to temporarily visit the castle and return to the demonic realm in order to carry out our measures. But whether or not the people of the kingdom of Barks will recognize it.

It would depend on persuasion here too...... no, even if we were to play the Battle of the Demonic Realm, it would be a problem after. The worried court ministers may say, "You can't let the princess out of the castle," etc.

When that happens...... there is one more story related to 'God'. I still need to continue my journey to find out what happens.

"Mr. Luon."

That's when Croix approaches. Amel is working on it, by the way.

"It's over?

"No, Amel is still pouring magic into it. I had no problem working with two people from here, so I had to take turns."

"Oh well. Shall we have dinner then?"

I have already eaten with the ingredients I brought. I give my bread and soup to Croix, and this one drinks water.

"Croix, I have one question... let's say that the operation succeeded and the Spirit and others, took their allies back to the demonic realm. And then who's in command?

"If I'm serious, I want to do it. Some people just don't follow it."

"It depends on persuasion."

"Honestly, I don't think I can handle everything. I just want to work with Bizel because we must definitely destroy the weapons he owns."

"Explain the danger of the weapon and the spirits and angels will convince you."

"I hope so."

Eventually the sky darkens. The space that only hears the sounds of the waves is kind of odd, and it feels like we're the only ones left out of the world.

"... this is also a good opportunity in a way"

Croix speaks to the lid.

"How the various races will face each other, including the demonic realm... it could be a litmus stone to try to do that. However, as far as I'm concerned, it's a form of cooperation in the war in the demonic world. It makes my position weaker... but from there, it depends on how I do it."

"If we defeat Bizel, the remaining Demon King candidates will be Croix and Eluas...... will we decide in a duel at the end?

"Honestly, you don't know what happens. It would be unprecedented, such as calling your allies in this way. My actions have moved spirits and angels... the way I do things is unscrupulous."

... Even though there was no other way, it would certainly have diminished the likelihood that Croix could be the Demon King.

Will this change in my discussions with Eluaz... with those doubts, I will tell Croix.

"For one thing, the top priority is the defeat of Bizell."

"Right. Only his atrocities must definitely be stopped"

"Tentatively, if El-Ass tries to defeat Bizel -"

"I think we can win. But at great cost, I guess."

"Is Bizel using his weapon?"

"If El-Ass were to come to the showdown, Bizel would also be up against him. It is the battle of the mud that awaits."

... This method is certainly good if you can't make as many sacrifices as you can.

"If I'm going to make the claim that I'm going to be the Demon King, I'm going to have to make very little sacrifice. I don't know if that works."

Croix shrugging her shoulders, but she hasn't given up hope - then she stopped pinching her mouth any more.

Anyway, let's start with the operation to defeat Bizell... and that's how we revealed the night on the little island.
