Sword of the Philosopher
The nature of the labyrinth
We stepped out like we were bounced, but right after that, we felt signs of a demon. I concentrate my consciousness on you and capture my enemies into my sight.
Demons of the devil system and do not possess weapons. And the body is dominated by silver. I don't have this flashy shade if I'm the devil the Demons serve. Yet it is not the kind of individual that emerges naturally from the existence of a demon.
Was the name 'Silver Road' for sure? It is definitely a demon that appears within this labyrinth. I explained the characteristic demons to my people beforehand, but I'll give them instructions here and now.
"He's a demon who specializes in fleshbullet warfare. I never use magic or anything, so knock me out at once!
"Okay."
Oldia responded accordingly. Pulled out with a two-wielded sword, he rushes to the devil.
The devil who immediately intercepts this reaction. Even when it comes to fleshbullet warfare, they don't use physical surgery or anything, they use their pure power to carry out beatings. It's easy to give in this labyrinth because it doesn't do anything else...
"Hmm, I knew you were there...!
I feel another sign behind Silver Road. Making the lights even stronger, I could clearly see behind the demons.
He was a magician-style demon with a cane and a deep hood and no face visible. He's a pretty plain demon in a brown robe, but this guy is a cautious enemy in this shallow hierarchy of labyrinths.
"Give me a rear enemy!
As I say, I step forward to defeat him with my own feet. But before that, there's someone who's trying to step forward and try - Leese.
Oldia slips through the side engaging Silver Road, and she heads to the demon in the back. As for the Magician-style enemy, but his name is Maygas, and he is a troublesome enemy who freely deals with the many magics that have appeared in the game.
Silver Road standalone would make it clear and easy to deal with, but this guy was an enemy like a miscellaneous soldier, appearing stuck with basically other demons. Moreover, due to the difficulty of the labyrinth, it is highly durable and acts as a wall. It's hard to target Maygas in the back if you don't defeat this guy, magic flies in and takes a lot of damage... that was a common situation in the game.
Therefore, as far as I'm concerned, I have a rather unpleasant image of Silverload itself. The characteristic of this guy coming in the way even though he's weak had the effect of disgusting the player.
Nevertheless, in the present situation, which has become a reality, there is also this strength - when Oldia slashes it several times, she destroys Silver Road. Yeah, if you're a buddy's arm, you don't seem to have a problem with the Miscellaneous Class Devil.
Then there was Maygas, but the enemy set up a defense against Reese, who challenged him directly in the front. Seems like a set up to wait for the other Silver Roads to cover us as there are signs from around...... there are two other people besides Reese, Sophia and Eina rush to it.
The two began to fight Silver Road, which appeared in sight to turn to cover for Maygas. Exploring the signs, apparently the devil is a total of three, including the individuals that Oldia defeated. As soon as she finds out there's no more cover, Reese flashes a magically constructed Halvard to Maygus.
The luxurious slaughter is prevented by Maygus's wand, but the wand breaks apart. It's supposed to be something made of magic, but it sounds as if it's a wooden wand... At the same time, a second swing down pierced Maygus' brain.
This allows the demons to disappear lightly. Even the game doesn't have much HP, and it didn't seem to withstand Reese's offense.
Yeah, it looks like a shallow hierarchy of enemies can be defeated with a single blow if the allies are capable. Here Sophia and Eina also intercepted the devil and the battle was over.
"... I knocked you down without difficulty, but you were eating an unexpected counterattack in the wrong order."
and Reese muttered as she looked to where Maygus was standing.
"The avant-garde is headed by a silver demon, and a magical magician-like demon attacks from the rear... a tactic loyal to the basics, but when a strong demon practices this, it's no bother."
"Oh yeah...... we need to immediately detect the formation of enemies and move because there are so many cases that emerge in combinations like now"
Check the rear once. As for Kati and Kuza, the guards, they were able to cover them at any time while peeking into the surrounding situation. At this minute, I would have been able to use defensive magic in a confrontation even if Magic had been used by Maygus.
"All right, let's move on. I think I see a lot of the demons earlier in the shallow hierarchy. But he's only a soldier, and his destiny is bound to be somewhere. And pay attention."
Everyone snorted at my instructions and moved on.
In the light and illuminated range, it can be seen that the appearance of the labyrinth is made of stone and that magic resides in the building materials used themselves. That probably adds an effect that improves durability and should be shaped in such a way that a little flashy rumbling won't break it.
I look around and try to grasp the structure of the labyrinth... after all, it's not in my memory. Maybe the building materials contain some magic that changes the labyrinth structure as a special effect... I just want to find out what the rationale is, but I don't have time right now and I don't have time to verify it.
"- Les Bailes"
Call an armored angel. It's not too narrow yet, so I think I can stand around. Start magic analysis here. If you look for a path that leads to the lower level,
"... straight from here to the right of the poking hit. Looks like there's a staircase down there. But the demons are holding back before them."
"Is that the same demon you were just talking about?
It's Oldia I've been asking. He still holds his sword and maintains a critical posture.
"Oh, at least there seems to be a silver demon... behind it, or some kind of demon should be in formation trying to lead it"
"... to be honest, you are taught beforehand about the explained demons, except you can move instantly"
And Eina spoke out here.
"Many parts of me don't know more about that demon than just being taught"
"Knowledge alone just means it's just hard... yeah, it can be annoying, but I'll make sure to tell them as soon as I see the first demon I meet"
"I think that's fine"
Sophia agrees. Other faces were also in the form of acknowledgment of it, so in the future, it was decided to move based on it.
