Reasons for the existence of the labyrinth

Well, the fourth layer was full of traps, so I wondered what about underneath... as far as I'm concerned, demons appeared again, and it was reasonably easy to understand that we were going to fight.

And at the same time, the difference from the game was becoming clearer. For example, the schemes are similar, but many of them diverge from the game for gimmicks, including traps and other arrangements.

Well, in games, for example, demons don't trap, they just put it in as a game gimmick, and adjustments, naturally... but in reality, they try to get rid of intruders at all costs. It's not strange that I've been a pretty unscrupulous obstruction.

Most importantly, I don't know the intent of creating such a labyrinth in such a place... unless it is a dossier because it doesn't mean that the producer's demonic surrender is dead.

And it's about the fifth layer... yeah, the maze hasn't changed, but apparently it feels the same as the fourth layer.

You have to keep bothering me.

Look at the number of traps. Raise your voice like Reese would pioneer. I know how you feel.

I can explore the signs, so it's not that hard to capture and defeat the devil... but one floor of this labyrinth is out of sight. So, the demons positioned there appear to be in the form of moving out when the intruder arrives, and the trap is activated by bystanders.

The fourth layer was still modest, but now you can hear some noise from here and there, and the staircase going to the lower layer changes over and over again. It was at the time of our visit. The enhanced version of the fourth layer, or does it feel like the real thing?

"What are you going to do with this?

"We'll have to break through the same way."

I answer Reese's question with a shrugged shoulder.

"About the demons, they look like the same demons upstairs, and I just have to knock the trick out"

"Really, you're just buying time"

"Right. But it's effective. If the labyrinth attack takes longer, there will naturally be more retaliation."

- If I had no knowledge and tried to break through at first sight, that would have been a desperate situation. Countless traps to powerful demons. We don't even know when we'll get to the deepest point there... these situations intertwine and repel the intruders.

Regardless, if we form a large offensive team, we won't be able to break through, but we're not sure it's worth it... and it's just too much trouble for us. Fortunately, the demons are at an easy level to handle at this stage, so I guess I'll just have to hope this continues in the lower tier as well.

"Ma, let's go down the tunnel...... it feels far from the fastest offense, but we can still afford it in time. You can still get it back if you eat a little stall here."

"Maybe there's a lot more troublesome traps down there."

Words from Kuuza. Yeah, as far as I'm concerned, I agree wholeheartedly...

"Perhaps we should consider the possibility of pulling it up somewhere... first, move on"

Follow my word, my people will hang on to eliminating traps and destroying demons. A trap has been set up so much that the big difference from the fourth layer is no longer to fill the aisle. It will take a lot of time to make one at a time, and I don't think I need to bother to prepare any number of traps... well, this will take time and use magic to untie the trap because I have to use it one at a time. Does that make sense in a way?

"Dear Luon,"

Sophia opens her mouth to the lid.

"I discovered the demon a little further away... do you want to knock it down? There seems to be a trap nearby."

"If you fall, you mean... oh, just knock me down. If the trap is activated... it won't affect you if you have the exact distance"

"Okay."

Sophia activates magic - she's good at 'lightning', but now she's powerful enough to forcibly erase the demon.

As a result, the demon evaporates in an instant without falling into something like that. I didn't think I needed to get permission if this was about her, just in case, I guess.

Anyway, it means she knows exactly how much output she can wipe out... you've improved her analytical skills considerably. Hopefully this will help you fight Star God.

While doing so, we discovered a staircase leading downstairs... but suddenly the passage moved and the front walled. I knew I had to defeat the devil.

"Hey, you're after this, right?

Kati says. Yeah, the aisle changes in front of me like this, so it's not weird to think so.

I guess I have some idea about the devil's placement and the type of trap. Perhaps the devil also has a type that hits the adventurer while actively trapping him, and a type that moves out once he gets close to a certain distance, or once the adventurers have gone through a particular passage. It can be assumed that the passage was changed earlier due to the latter scheme.

How much reason do you bother to do what you've gotten so far... the further you go, the deeper the mystery will deepen.

And at the same time, I think I do. It is true that the present and the trick are troublesome to death, and if you are a concurrent adventurer, it is like turning back immediately. But the idea of "try breaking through this trap" is also hidden.

It's enough to harass me so far that I don't even think I'm simply interrupting... or fundamentally hiding weapons, because there's no need for it to be such a hands-on labyrinth.

"... let's take a detour"

Eventually, I move in with my squeamish buddies. In the meantime also destroy traps and destroy demons.

That's how we finally managed to reach the lower stairs... but it hasn't been that long since we got here, so can we say it's going well? The trap is eating my foothold, but I don't think it's taking as long as I assumed.

However, there is a risk that the trap will become even more harsh from here down. If the Labyrinth Lord's aim was to deplete his magic by removing traps, etc., he would be stuck in surgery... whatever the prospect is, we have to move on.

So we start going down the stairs silently… what's the next trick? I stepped into a further hierarchy, mindful of whatever was coming.
