Sword of the Philosopher

Demonic Armor

What appeared in front of us was a demon of human form… a demon of the kind known as Wearwolf, and yet armed.

This armed is the crook, and it can be clearly seen that it is apparently not normal.

"... what do you do?

Sophia asks. If you notice, there's a demon of the same type surrounding you, and you can't let us escape as prey.

The knights have pulled out their swords and are in a combat position... Now, I just want to figure out how to stand around, but there doesn't seem to be time to spare. The demons approach us one step closer.

I shift my eyes to arming. In addition to swords and shields, even armor… it is clear that magic exists and is not merely an iron object.

"... maybe we need to find out a little bit"

I whine without changing my gaze. How troublesome it is that there are such things as giving weapons to demons...

"Once I set you up..."

The arrow tip I tried to tell you about the operation, the demon attacked me earlier. They seem to be under control, and they're attacking us in unison as if they were going to control our vanguards.

After a moment of worrying about whether we should use range-based attack magic - we activated 'Lightning' into a demon approaching the knight with a towing meaning. Me or Sophia can handle whatever moves they make. But the knights didn't know if they could handle it, so they followed up with you first.

The result is - my magic is approaching the one and only demon. For a moment, the enemy reacts to magic. I thought it would be avoided or prevented... and the demon wielded his sword to shake off my magic.

No, that's exactly what I thought - arrowheads, unexpected events happen. The thunderstorm went straight to the demon and hit it with the sword, but suddenly I wondered if there was a sound with Pasilli, and it disappeared.

That means you broke the towing magic, straight out of the front.

"This guy...!?"

Now let the magic be just not full force, the demon in front of you is easy... I could understand that it is not a normal demon in this matter.

"Sounds like a pretty strong enemy...... this is...!?"

Eina gives instructions to the knight in surprise and responds. Shortly afterwards, the knight and the demon bumped into each other... which succeeded in pushing the enemy back.

Demon moves are somewhere inexperienced and fail to respond to knight attacks... and yet if the slaughter hits the demon's skin, it's damaging... so I...

"Are you a strong weapon...?

Stand still and look at the weapons that the demons have. I don't seem to have any special magic.

"Garc, do you feel anything?

"Hmmm, it doesn't look like I have any special magic in my eyes either... but I can also interpret it that way if I dare"

"Don't let the magic leak?

"I created it intentionally in that way... but I don't know why I did it."

Whatever the trouble is, is it certain... the ability of the demon is not so high against the ability of the weapon. This should probably lead to a battle if we work together.

"Keep pushing it off!

I decide that Eina can do it and scream. Keep attacking demonic weapons with caution. So I finally defeated the demon in one piece, but the weapon also disappeared with the demon. It just doesn't link demons to the magic power of the weapon, so I guess it's a trick to erase the weapon itself when the demon disappears rather than the demon is making magic.

It is a chiseled being whose abilities and weapon efficacy are not commensurate...... which makes me question the contrary.

This apparently isn't just about picking flowers first...... something is happening in this mountain. It seemed like we needed to figure that out.

In no time, we will succeed in annihilating the demons. So I started discussing it.

"Lord Luon, what the hell is this...?

Eina tilting her neck. So I...

"As for the weapon, though restraint, it only worked to play my magic... I can understand it as a powerful object. But by contrast, the demons were frankly weak."

"That's the question. It was a lot of imbalance."

"Is it possible that we were developing weapons and generating and moving demons... The question is whether its developers are near this mountain."

"... hmm"

Suddenly the garc starts roaring in my head. In contrast, a child Garc appeared on his right shoulder, the arrow tip he tried to inquire about.

"This could be trouble."

"... my guess is pretty cumbersome, but more than that?

"Uhm. About the martial arts, but as Lord Luon said, it must have been developed. But the problem is the quality of its magic. '

"Quality?"

'The magic I felt slightly as the demons perished... it belonged to the angels'

"Angel...? Does that mean you're using angel weapons?

'Maybe I'm using that as a reference to create a weapon. I don't know what it's for. "

"You mean you're generating demons, are you human or demonic?

'Well... I felt that the magic of the demon itself came from the demon, but I don't know unless I try to catch the main culprit because it's possible that humans use the magic of the demon clan'

... would be unlikely to be just as Demonic. The demon kingdom is now friendly to us. However, if the remnants of the previous Demon King or something were hidden somewhere in the mountains... etc., isn't that an unlikely story?

"What do we do?

Ask Eina. Do you want to keep going and just pick the flowers and go home, or just do a little research? Or turn back once and investigate in detail?

We only came to pick the flowers needed for the festival. It's not the kind of equipment you'd do an investigation into, and I'm just not going to look into it under this circumstance. It's just that we've come into contact with demons. If they realize this, it's not weird to act something after we pull it up.

You just can't do it here...... Sophia had the same opinion or kept silent. Even if you climb the mountain, you understand that if you investigate, the current force is just not good.

Let's leave it up to the knights to decide here... Eina and the others will initiate a consultation. As for me, Sophia, and Leese, we're going to keep an eye on them.

It's the kind of trouble that came down and sprung up... but a few minutes later, Eina and I turned to us and opened our mouths.
