Sword of the Philosopher
Strange Armor
I ran for a melee against a demon with a real angel weapon... but the enemy at heart doesn't move. No, does it feel like you're not sure what to do with signs?
Rather than the demons patrolling, they are confused about how to move their active beings.
"You also have low command abilities etc... rather than the idea that only weapons are strong and others are still developing?
"You'll be sure with that interpretation"
Gark also seems to agree.
'Or maybe we were going to spend it... Either way, we came when they weren't ready. You could have been lucky in a way.'
I agree there. Fight a serious opponent, it's unlikely that I or Sophia will manage. But there could be damage to knights and soldiers or something.
Coincidentally, it's a great opportunity to seal off their prospects… I fleshed out to demons. Demons in possession of real angel weapons. I don't know how powerful it is.
Flash to the demon first. The opponent waved a long sword that was good at responding. The swords of both sides clash. Magic plays,
"... this is..."
Immediately, I choose to retreat. When you distance yourself at the same time as the sound of the sword meshing, you look at the demon.
Lord Luon, what's wrong?
"There was more resistance than I thought. I thought I would never lose my strength, but it was a hassle when they attacked me poorly, so I left once -"
Demons loom while disciplined to Garc. It was a foolish swing, diving into my nostalgia while avoiding this and taking a blow - I thought of that kind of tactic, moving the demon slaughter sideways and avoiding it.
The demonic sword stays on the ground with momentum. This would make my sword eat into the dirt and I would be temporarily unable to move. Immediately after I thought I would get close and finish in that short amount of time - the demonic sword sank the ground.
Immediately afterwards, the magic played. It's probably not the magic of demons, it's the power inherent in weapons.
The next moment, it blew up as if to raise a huge blister. Even the demons who were supposed to have unleashed their swords were likely to swallow it. That was enough to stun them.
"Is this...!?"
Gark is equally stunned again. So I return to me and dive into the monster's nose as per the operation. I couldn't move because of the shock caused by the demonic sword, or I didn't wander off when this one approached me.
Flash. The demon disappears at the same time as it barks. The nasty enemies have been wiped out... but look at the ground.
The sword the demon dropped remained. It still seems this is the only real thing.
"Garc, what do we do?
'Leave it and it will be recovered. I just have to take it.'
Should I rendezvous with Eina and give it to her? I'll try to pick up the sword. The sheath that the demon was giving me was also nearby, so I take the sword.
Some of the feelings touched do reside in powerful magic. It is somewhat understandable that it comes from the power of an angel in addition. I only found out because I live in Resbail.
What's more, it's no stranger to me how much I'm adjusting to be compatible with the Demons or something than I was in the hands of demons earlier... I don't feel anything. On the contrary, even if I grip it, it's very tame.
"... Garc, this weapon seems pretty easy to use."
"Hmm, does that mean the inherent properties of the weapon... demons or humans, we don't know who raided the village, but does the mastermind mean the angel's weapon is being used as it is"
"Wait, I don't think the Demons can use anything they want."
'I agree... maybe there's a reason I made such an adjustment'
"Reason? That 's-"
Demonic roar. Looks like we should talk later.
"Anyway, now it's the extermination of the demons. Just go back to the village."
I notice it here. Signs of demons suddenly turn away.
"Don't retreat. The demon I defeated was the tower of command?
"Or maybe the demon with the angel's weapons was lightly hit and retreated"
"Exactly. The enemy will also consider it a bad idea to raid with this, and the problem doesn't seem to arise...... no, could it raid other villages?
'That's a subtle place. Either way, it's time to put up with the reinforcements.'
Defense for a while? You're going to be busy after tomorrow, including checking on what's going on with neighboring villages and such.
"Whatever it is, let's go back."
I look at the long sword that the demon had. The loot, but the magic that holds it together, was too heterogeneous.
We rendezvoused once after we made sure the demon disappeared. Report that you've got angel weapons and look around once more. To reveal the night while protecting the villagers, just in case, after making sure there were no demons in the end.
Plus, we're going to have an ops meeting outside. I ask Gark as he squeezes the loot he's got.
"That's what I was about to say..."
"Um, Lord Luon said he would be familiar with his hands, even though it was the first weapon in his hands. That probably means that whoever has it has the kind of tweak '
"May I have it?
Sophia said so I'll give it to you for a try. Then,
"... you do get used to it. I think I can handle it right now."
Weapons equipped with magic should require some training. For example, Sophia's "Sword of the Divine Spirit" and so on are adjusted so that Sophia can handle them at all costs, so training and so on can be done in a short period of time. However, if it is a commonly distributed weapon, you need to be more or less skilled at handling it.
Even if I don't have magic, I'm not used to using new weapons, so I think it will fall out, so this is more natural than dealing with weapons... angel weapons don't have that.
"Perhaps this was created by the angels assuming that humans and others would handle it."
"What about demons and demons?
'It's unknown there, but considering the possibility that it can actually be handled, it could be a secondary effect... Anyway, anyone can use it right away... and if this looks like it, feel free to use the magic of the inherent angel. Earlier demons could control their magic, but they didn't seem to make good use of it because they weren't proficient in swordsmanship.'
"We saw it in our sights, too. That was a very powerful shock wave."
Reese squeaks. Yeah, this weapon. If the demons could have handled it freely... if they could have defeated it, there could have been damage on their side.
The question is why Gark opened his mouth even further where the angel worried about such a weapon...
