Sword of the Philosopher

Relic Material

After going through the castle gate, Fili and Liese split up to arrange the inn and start strolling around the town with the remaining members. Might as well end up looking around town for the day.

A little further to reach a place like the square. The road stretches in all directions in a way that resembles an X mark, and when you look around, you discover the information board. I'll call Sophia and Kati and come closer to you.

Upon confirmation, it was a description of where the public facilities were. Museums, museums, bureaux, etc… in which libraries existed irrespective. But...

"... there are three of them"

"Right."

"It's a lot for the size of a city."

Sophia and Kati react successively to my whining.

The size of the town is... just small compared to the capital of the Holy King Rebait, but should I say that one is too big the other way around... just whether there are as many as three libraries on that scale.

"It's not even a college or a library...? No, one is a library attached to the college."

"As for the research material on the ruins about Star God, that sounds most likely there."

"Well... the information board says the general public is free to enter, and I guess it feels like we'll be looking into it tomorrow"

"But the fact that there are three... Could it take longer?

"We'll just have to pray that we're lucky enough to find what we're looking for."

It's hard to take man-made sea tactics in numbers, and the elements of luck are strong...... but you can't turn back, and you have to do it in the face of your hand.

Then I went to the site to see other library locations, etc. and later I went to guilds and taverns to gather information. I haven't reached the spiritual peak yet about Princess Emena, but it will arrive within a few days... okay?

If possible, I'd like to get to the core part before the story starts...,

"Sophia, Kati. You'll be stuck in the library tomorrow, so I'm going to."

"Okay, but from the library side, wouldn't they be suspicious or something?

"It would be strange to see the public immersed, but you just don't push them back. Tomorrow, well... do you actually want to look inside and hit the material on Star God? Hmm... there are three libraries, so we'll split up and find out?

"Right. First, we need to find out how much material we have in each library."

Kati's recommendations. Now that we have a policy, we have decided to rendezvous with Reese and the others once.

That day I grasped the structure of the town, etc., and the next morning. Reese and Fili decided to do the information-gathering for now, and me and Sophia and Kati decided to check the library in the morning.

"Shall we meet at noon for an exchange of information?"

"Right."

My suggestion Sophia snorts. Kati also said, "That's fine," so she pushed away from the inn.

What I'll look into is a library close to the bureau or something. Probably some judicial material or something sleeping...... maybe we can find out more about the history of this town or the area.

It has nothing to do with the main body, so I'll get through... but I'll get there in no time. The building is white and there are few people around. A little further in the back, you will reach the mansion where the head of this city is located. It's nothing like a castle, but it's already a fine building... big enough to call it a palace. If you're doing politics or something in there, well, that's convincing.

Take a little look at the exterior before entering the library. Quiet, you can see a human walking in a white robe. Like a government official? My appearance is somewhat noticeable, but it looks like normal people are in there, and if I don't do something weird, there won't be people out there sticking around.

Offer to be an associate of the Alliance and go inside. The library is three floors long, and they don't have a basement.

"It would be nice to see the relic materials..."

It wouldn't be like materials are collected on specific items like Star God or anything. About the ruins for now. And if we were to talk about the existence of the star god in mythology or something, could there be an act that would worship it as a god? If so, should we also look into religious-related materials?

Whatever it is, first the ruins… find a place that looks like it, grab the material in your hand, and load it to the table. Okay, start the investigation. The first thing I saw was material about the ruins that existed around Torbas. It's in thesis format, but it's hard to understand because of a lot of jargon.

"There's a translator, this... it's just like you're looking into what the ruins are, or why there was an establishment in a place like this"

It says that the place with the ruins is probably a magic pulse or something, and I agree with that. It is also possible that the position of the ground vein is uneven due to the passage of years and fluctuations in the crust etc... I have been researching it closely, so what did you try to do using the ground vein... there is no detailed mention of the area.

"From here on out, I can only speculate... there doesn't seem to be a definitive dossier on Star God."

The technology currently available to the Holy Kingdom of Rebait...... was conducting research on the discovered ruins of the Star God. But apparently not elsewhere.

Looking at the excavated objects, it looks like they have found household goods and other kinds, but there is little about technology… it tells the story that the place found by the Holy King was a special establishment.

"The study of star gods... was itself a rarity in ancient times," he said?

This is perfectly natural... but if this happens, is it difficult to get information about the Star God in the material related to the ruins found around Torbas...? I had some anxiety, but now I just have to find out where I have a little clue anyway.

The paper is over after a reflection on the facility. There is not much to look at in terms of the content of the statement.

"Hmm, as long as there are ruins but not something about the star god, I'm simply looking into ancient things... there's just a lot of material itself. Can we just hope that there's some powerful information in it?"

A good number of materials sleep in this library. If what concerns the site survey is the work of the Torbas Autonomous Government, this is probably the most common place.

What about the library where Sophia and Kati are going...... if the college side is focusing on research there will be a lot of material over there. Maybe both...... this has to be assembled once in the day to exchange information.

Now I'm going to scrutinize the material for the first time... so I decided to turn my consciousness to the material loaded on my desk.
