Sword of the Philosopher
Facility Mystery
"... guess what, I guess that means the minimum mode required"
With the lights on, I went back to the entrance to the room and explained to Sophia and the others.
"Maybe the power source is magic, but the spiritual pulse doesn't exist... I can't fully secure the magic, I turned on the minimum lighting I need, it feels like"
"I see... then I can understand once and for all"
Sophia answers with her hands on the floor.
"The exploratory magic is over. As Master Luon speculated, magic is pouring from the earth into this equipment. It's just not that much."
"I guess. Now that the doors in the facility are probably starting to move, let's find out."
As for the lighting, it's at the emergency light level, so we're still looking into creating the lights. Find out about the door that was right out of the power room. Then I quickly found something that looked like a switch for opening and closing.
"This."
Part of the wall glows pale and green. Probably works when I touch it here.
So, when I touched the try... the door slowly opened. In Sophia and Leese are surprised, check inside the room.
It was... a terribly murderous room. Bookshelves and tables and that kind of furniture don't exist. Instead, it was the only one with a number of beds positioned on the left and right of the room, between the walls.
- Earlier, I had a guess in my head that it might be this kind of facility. That was brilliant. There's no doubt here,
"It's a hospital."
"Hospital, is it?
Sophia responds to me as she peeks into the room.
"The beds are lined up...... you said you were putting the patients together in this room?
"I think the other rooms probably have the same structure. Let's check the next room or something."
So, when I opened and closed the door, it was still the same structure and the beds lined up. Again, this is a hospital...... we got into an unexpected facility, but here's the question.
"... Hey Sophia, Liese. We were walking around this facility."
I look down. There's a twitchy white floor there.
"For example, as for the ruins of angels, there were still materials, corridors and dust. That's a ruin we've been in before, no exceptions... but this facility, it's not. On the contrary, it exists without breaking to the bed"
I approach one of the beds and touch it. Yeah, there's no atmosphere that's going to break.
"This difference proves that ancient people's technology was outrageous... but what's the principle?
"I'm sure it's caused by magic."
Sophia was the one who responded to the question.
"I could feel the magic before I stepped into this ruin. preserving this entire facility in some way... I wonder if that's what it had"
"Even if I lost my spiritual pulse, I don't know if that's all it was running properly."
Leese adds to Sophia's words. Techniques that leave their original form in the distant future… It may not have been meant to remain until we arrived, but it conveys the amazing skill of the ancients.
So, this fact reminds me of a hypothesis I have.
"Sophia, this is-"
"I'm thinking the same thing. You mean the Holy King Rebait kingdom?
I nod to her question.
The Holy kingdom used ancient knowledge to innovate in technology… but if the ruins had remained so far, it could also snort that the development of its magic technology was rapid.
"You think these ruins exist on the continent of Lisfana?
"I wonder if there are so many places that have retained their original form so far"
And Sophia mentions me.
"If all these ruins, it's no surprise that the material I've seen so far states so. Sketched paintings in the ruins also existed in the materials, all of which, like the ruins of angels, were worn out."
"Does that mean that a place like this is an exception during the exception... if this is the hospital, I left it on purpose -"
"Sooner or later, you can use it."
Reese tells.
"That doesn't mean I can use it right up to this time, but... is it an emergency, or is there some other reason... anyway, he said he left it to use"
"Well... based on the fact that the room that was open was a stuffed shell, I was forced to leave this place due to circumstances. But you mean you were treating me so that I could restore function as soon as I got back... but the only question that remains is why did you build a hospital so deep in the mountains? Even though I used my spiritual veins, I'm too ill located for anything at all"
"There was only one thing I could do here... I wonder. Something you can't do without being close to a spiritual vein."
"You want to use your spiritual veins that far? That doesn't feel like a hospital..."
I look at the beds lined up in the room. I haven't looked around everything yet, but my impression so far is that it's a normal hospital. There doesn't seem to be any special elements such as hospitals that combine research institutes.
"I doubt that, too... but you might find out when you look into it, right?
Reese suggests. After all, there's no other way to do that.
"... I'll make sure, just in case, that the exploration will continue, okay? If this was just a hospital, it's likely that our actions will end in vain."
"Let's do it"
Sofia made representations. Reese nods, too, and I make up my mind.
"Then let's find out thoroughly. Besides, even though it's a hospital, it's a beautiful place to stay. I'm curious."
I've already seen ancient people's technology... but I wanted to find out more about it.
On the part of the Holy King Rebait, too, would be excited if he had seen the ruins thus left behind. The researchers must all go into the investigation. And it's all a pile of treasure. Then I can also nod my hand at Star God's technology.
"... hey Sophia"
"Yes."
"There are still so many facilities left... the Holy King Rebait side should have done as much as a site survey. And yet you can't find it... is it possible to cover it up or something?
"That's a subtle place. If so, it's not surprising that there are disturbing rumors about the site investigation. However, at the stage of gathering information, and without that...... doesn't this mean there are a handful of relics left?
Hard to find, few...... there is room for doubt, but now it just seemed like there was nothing else to look for a solution by turning my legs forward.
