Chapter 788: Awakening of the Ancestral Bloodline
The energy exchange maintained a perfect loop until suddenly a violent tremor shook Isabella’s body. The veins in her arms and neck bulged, turning a brilliant electric blue before tearing through her skin. The flesh on her lower abdomen cracked, unable to contain the internal pressure.
[Shit! Her body is collapsing!], Crul’s voice echoed in Ethan’s mind with a panic he had never heard before. [It seems she possesses a special bloodline! That shouldn’t be possible in this lower world... Shit, shit! Max out the output with all your strength!]
Ethan didn’t think twice. He clenched his teeth until his gums bled and drove his hips forward to the limit, unleashing the full torrent of his pure yang without holding back a single drop.
AHHHHHHH!
A thunderous roar in unison tore through the air of the imperial suite. Ethan’s energy acted as a scorching fire that burned away the last impurity in the girl’s body, forcibly forging new meridians and regenerating broken flesh at a dizzying speed. The pure fire destroyed her old channels and erected entirely new spiritual pathways.
Isabella’s eyes snapped open.
[I see... it’s that bloodline], Crul muttered, stunned within Ethan’s sea of consciousness. [I thought it was extinct. Even Lord Amethyst never saw one in person...]
"What bloodline?! What are you talking about?! AGGHHH!" screamed Ethan the young man, slamming his fists into the bed as he felt Isabella’s core begin to drain his own vital energy at a terrifying speed, leaving him withered.
[Endure it, boss!], Crul urged in his mind. [If you hold out, there will be a gift even better than you can imagine!]
The energy concentrated completely in Isabella’s dantian and, just as Ethan felt he would lose consciousness, the torrent surged back into him. An icy, pure, and revitalizing tide flowed back through his shaft like a miraculous rainfall upon his dry body.
Ethan’s cultivation began to skyrocket at an incredible pace. The energy cycled from him to her and back again, building up like an unstoppable avalanche.
Gradually, the physical pain vanished, and both sank into a profound trance. Immersed in the ritual’s intensity, they were unaware that the vibration of their auras was fusing the very essence of their bodies. However, Crul monitored every millisecond of the transfusion closely.
[I thought she wouldn’t handle it, which is why I restricted you... but now it seems my concern was unnecessary], Crul declared freely. [Release!]
A burst of blinding light flooded the chamber as both bloodlines shattered their seals completely.
Ethan’s body instantly shifted into the complete Amethyst Void form: his skin took on a mystic pale hue, purple runic marks traced along his arms, and his hair floated in the air surrounded by dark sparks. But Isabella was not left behind. Her figure emitted a divine glow, and her eyes ignited with a golden brilliance even more intense than the sun.
Within their shared trance, Isabella found herself standing in an infinite, star-laced realm. Before her stood Ethan, but behind him rose a colossal shadow: a titanic, dark monster adorned with amethyst eyes that devoured entire planets with ease. Isabella was witnessing the raw manifestation of Ethan’s bloodline.
The giant monster slowly leaned down, bringing its abyssal face close to the girl. Yet instead of feeling terror or despair before such a primordial aberration, a deep, comforting warmth wrapped around Isabella’s heart.
"So this is your true form...", whispered Isabella the young lady inside the trance, reaching out her spiritual hand toward Ethan’s figure.
[There is no record of a Saint Eye Maiden appearing in the recent eras... and you somehow managed to make her fall in love with you], Crul whispered with a mixture of reverence and awe in his mental voice. [I don’t know if your destiny is a blessing or a curse...]
They couldn’t see it from inside the sealed suite, but outside, the sky above the entire empire was blanketed in black clouds within seconds. An apocalyptic storm shrouded the capital, pierced by blinding white lightning the likes of which had never been seen before.
At the highest peak of the imperial palace, the Emperor himself stepped onto the balcony, gazing at the dense black clouds and the striking white light with a pale face.
"A calamity approaches...", murmured the sovereign, his voice suffocated by the pressure oppressing the air. "Summon the Oracle immediately!"
Minutes later, in the highest divine tower, the ancient woman known as the Oracle channeled her full power to see through the mists of fate and discover the origin of such a disturbance. However, the moment she attempted to peer into the vision, she did not see Ethan, but rather a creature resembling a twelve-winged angel. That divine entity turned its gaze directly toward her, and with a single look, the old woman’s eyes exploded on the spot.
AHHHHHHH!
A harrowing scream echoed through the tower. The Oracle’s eyes burst in a shower of blood, and the old woman collapsed dead upon the jade altar.
"By the gods!" exclaimed the imperial enforcer, recoiling in terror. "What on earth has triggered the wrath of the Dao?!"
Meanwhile, inside the resort room, the vibration of both bloodlines began to crack the spatial barriers of the chamber. The out-of-control energy threatened to obliterate the entire mountain.
[It seems this emergency goes beyond what I can handle...], Crul cried out in panic. [Master, help me!]
A flash of violet light tore through the air above the bed, and out of nowhere, an ancient silhouette materialized, cloaked in a robe of cosmic aura. It was the spiritual avatar of Lord Amethyst.
The old ancestor blinked, taking in the scene. Upon noticing Ethan and Isabella still deeply connected amidst their act of cultivation, a perverted, sly smirk formed across his transparent face as he leaned closer to inspect how his descendant was giving it his all.
"You old dog, pay attention to the room, we don’t have time!" Crul barked at him instantly, making the ancestor’s avatar jump in midair before regaining his composure.
