Taming Master

< (2). Seed of Disorder -2 >

* * *

The story I heard from Seraphim was quite long, but here's a brief summary.

1. Nobless-man Dais, the owner of the Furious City Slave Master, urgently sought the contract of slavery, and announced that he would open the lowest level of slavery contract only once.

2. The lowest level of the slave labor camp was usually a place that was only open to the Demon Kings, and only once a year and for half a day it was open to horses other than Novelis.

3. In the lowest floors of slavery, even Serafim, a Nobless-man, is a place where even the coveted rarest slaves come out as a property.

Ian, who heard about Serapim, had a great opportunity (?), and I was wondering.

“No, by the way... what did the slave contract say about the slave owner giving you such a great privilege? Besides, don't you have a slave contract for a Nobless-man who owns a slavery empire? ”

When Ian asked, Serapim smiled and answered.

“You don't know the value of a slave contract any more than you think. ”

“ …? ”

“Obviously, the ability of a slave contract item itself is not of great value. ”

The usefulness of the slave contract was only worthwhile for horses under the normal horse, who could not normally hire slaves.

Even though Marit said she could cut the price of slavery to hire even for higher horsemen, it's not that great.

In fact, it was natural for Ian to feel curious.

“But?”

“But slavery contracts are very rare. ”

“Yes?”

“The rarity of it is beyond imagination, as it is issued to only three people every year throughout the entire market. ”

“Hmm…? ”

Occasionally I have something like that.

An item that can't be said to be magnificent, but is incredibly valuable even if it is rare.

Even so, Ian's mouth was opened again because not all the questions had been solved yet.

“Well... Even so... Why would a slave master of the Nobless-grade need a slave contract?" It's completely useless to him, isn't it? ”

Seraphim smiled and replied.

“Because he's an elderly father with a beautiful daughter. ”

An unexpected answer caused Ian to look embarrassed.

“Yep…? ”

“Dice is Novelis, but his daughter, ‘Shasha’, is still a commoner. And she wanted to have a slave for her 20th birthday. ”

Only then did Ian begin to clarify the current situation in his mind.

‘So... did you need a slave contract for your daughter's birthday present? ’

After all, it was postponed by Serapim's explanation, it was clear that the "lowest level of slavery" was a place of great value even if it was called Hiddenpiece.

‘And then we had a chance to get into that place. ’

Ian's gaze was again towards Serapim.

“So I'm just supposed to take this and go to Dice? ”

As Ian shakes the slavery contract, Seraphim nods.

“That's right."

Ian's head got complicated, with a lot more work to do, including quests.

‘Well, I guess we'll just have to sort it out one by one. ’

However, I did not intend to go gently.

Ian opened his mouth again to Serapim.

“By the way, you've been to the lowest level of slavery, haven't you? ”

“Of course. I visit the slave labor center every year when the lowest floor is open. ”

Ian rolled his mouth up and said.

“Then give me some information. ”

* * *

At first, it was a very annoying Seraphim, but Ian began to open his mouth slowly as he continued to beg.

Unlike what I initially was annoying, I explained the information I knew in great detail.

“First, let me tell you the most important point for choosing a good slave. ”

“Point?”

“Advanced information that no one else knows, so don't miss a word. ”

The first information that Serapim told us was that slavery is essentially more likely to be higher grade as we go downstairs.

It wasn't that big of a difference unless it was at the bottom, but it was very important information.

“The ‘lowest level’, where you will go, is also a three-story multilayered structure, although tied with the name 'lowest level', with a high probability that the lowest level of slaves will be upper slaves. ”

“Aha... That's definitely useful information for me. But this is such advanced information? Most of the Horsemen who have used the Slave Master seem to know... ”

“No, it's not. Because placenta is the best way to hire people who don't know how to identify good slaves. ”

Next, the information Serapim told us was a way to identify unexplained information.

According to him, the slave book does not know the grade of slavery before purchasing it.

“Anyone with more than a superior horseman can see slave information. But more than half the information will be blinded. And of course, the most important piece of information, the slave grade, is not available until it's stamped on the contract. ”

The reason was that the upper and lower limits were set for the price set for slavery.

If the price of slavery is freely tied according to grades and capabilities, the slave labor force will roll on its own in accordance with the principles of the market economy.

However, it was because no one would try to buy a lower class of slavery unless the price of a higher class of slavery and a lower class of slavery were significantly different.

“So when checking slavery's information, it is imperative that the buyer confirm it is a race of slaves. ”

“Aha. I take it slaves aren't from the Demons? ”

“No, there are some slaves of the devil. There were even horses of higher rank. However, that is a very small part of it, and most of the various factions in other dimensions are enslaved. ”

“It's like a war slave concept from the Invasion War of the Horsemen. ”

“I can see that. More accurately, a slave to the past war...? ”

“Was it a war in the past? ”

“The Horsemen are not at war now, but they have invaded many dimensions in the past. And at that time, the factions and dimensional systems that had completely succumbed to the magic system became colonies of our magic system. Those who enter slavery now are the factions of the Dimensional Realm that became the old colony. ”

“Aha... If we surrender completely to the war between the magic system and the human race, we will be enslaved and enslaved. ”

“Yes. I now have power as a Horseman, but I am essentially human. That's why we're trying to prevent any kind of war against humanity. ”

“Aha... ”

“Suddenly the story goes somewhere else.... Let's get back to business…. ”

Serapim told Ian some of the factions that were most likely superior slaves.

“Moonelves or dark phantoms. Or if you find one of those caragons, the deal won't be worth a damn. ”

“Wow…. ”

Seeing Ian taking a hard note, Seraphim added another word.

“You can think of Moon Elves as ghosts with bright, sparkly skin, and Dark Phantoms as ghosts with almost opaque bodies. Finally, Karagon is a dragon-like man, also known as the Half Dragon. ”

“A dragon-looking human...? What the hell does it look like? ”

“I know that when I see it. ”

“ …. ”

And the last piece of information Serapim gave me was about the skills of slaves.

“When acquainted with slavery contracts, it's unnecessary to compare the combat skills of slavery to the most aggressive... Please don't do that. ”

“Hmm...? ”

At that moment, Ian felt something hot.

If it weren't for Seraphim, it would have been for some reason.

‘Probably the highest compared to all the combat abilities of all slaves at the lowest level...' ’

Ian scratched his back head and asked why.

“Why?”

“Using slaves as regular combat force is a terrible choice. Should we say efficiency is close to zero? ”

“Why?”

“Basically, no matter how good a slave is at fighting, there's no one powerful enough to defeat a superior horseman, and even if there is, the unique power of slavery is much more appealing. ”

Ian felt more interested.

What is it? Is it something new? ’

Adding strong power was of course important, but there were many ways to satisfy it in other areas, such as equipping the temple or capturing the summoned water.

That's why Ian found it more interesting that there was something unique about Slave Content.

“Oh, can you give me an example? ”

The words of Seraphim followed.

“First of all, Moonelves often have conditional broad passive abilities related to ‘Night’ or ‘Moon’. ”

The Moon Elf's ability came to mind as soon as I heard.

"Oh, you're going to get Rye's passive abilities all over the place? ’

Then it must have been incredibly helpful.

‘Especially in this market, where there are three moons. ’

Seraphim opened his mouth again.

“In the case of the Dark Phantom, his combat abilities converge at zero, but he has a stunning stealth ability. ”

Ian asked with a curious expression.

“What do hidden abilities without combat skills mean? ”

“The Dark Phantom has little to go on, and no harm comes to any attack except Magi or the Divine Power. Plus, it can clear itself for a period of time, so it's extremely specialized in scouting dangerous areas. ”

Ian tilts his head when he hears this far.

‘It's definitely a good ability... But I have a feeling that it's lacking something compared to Moon Elves... ’

But the words of Seraphim were not finished.

“And sometimes there are dark phantoms with a unique ability called the Realm of Darkness, which is amazing. ”

“‘Realm of Darkness'... It looks pretty cool. ”

“Not cool enough. When the Dark Realm is cast, the vision of all enemies within the range is lost for a certain period of time. It takes about 15 seconds... but on a massive battlefield, this ability can be powerful enough to reverse a victory or defeat. Besides, it ignores all immunity from the status quo. ”

At that moment, Ian's expression changed.

Ian was the smartest fighter of all, so he knew the value of his abilities.

‘What a terrible ability. If you lose sight of the entire area during the war, 15 seconds will be like 15 years. ’

Finally, a description of Karagon's unique abilities followed.

“Karagon... I haven't used him as a slave yet, but if I find him, I'll have to sign him." ”

At that point, Ian's expectations were higher.

“What kind of abilities do you have? ”

Seraphim replied.

“The ability to distort space. ”

“Hmm…? ”

“He folds and folds the space all he wants. If you have him, you can use the methods of livestock as an organization. ”

“ …. ”

“Of course, there must be a waiting time or a cost, but they continue to use their abilities so rarely that they feel that way. I haven't used it myself, but I don't know exactly. ”

A highly recommended species so far (?) in Ian's mind, which was organizing information about their unique abilities, suddenly turned white as a blank slate.

And there were only three characters left in it: Karagon.

‘Yes, Karagon. It's you!’

But Ian didn't know until now.

The Catastrophe that Will Happen to Yourself After Half Day (?) ….

Life didn't always go the way it was meant to.
