Taming Master

The southern island dungeons were very difficult.
And it wasn't just the level of the monsters.
The biggest part of the high difficulty was that most of the monsters that made up the dungeon were Humanoid monsters.
Humanoid monsters were generally highly intelligent, and AI levels were far superior to normal monsters.
Humanoid monsters close to 400 levels were more intelligent than any of the monsters Ian had ever dealt with, and that immediately led to the AI level.
‘Dammit, the field was comfortable… but the field monsters gave too little public value…. ’
Unlike the dungeons, the southern islands' fields were all animal-like monsters.
Animal-like monsters showed the simplest attack patterns of all kinds, making them easier to hunt on any level.
After all, Ian's group has been working hard to clear the dungeons one by one with some clever human monsters.
And the dungeon where Ian's group is now, is a rather unusual type of dungeon.
The sky is wide open, but a canyon-shaped dungeon with massive chunks of rock blocked on either side.
Jerbuck- Jerbuck-
As the group makes their way to the interior of the fortress, a narrow canyon appears and no one stops ahead.
Members of the party were all veterans who had cleared a lot of dungeons, and felt something cosmetic about the structure of the dungeon.
“I'm so relieved. Given that the dungeon clearance is over 90%, it's time for the Named Monsters to come out... ”
At Lemir's words, Ian nods and answers.
“Yes, it's definitely a bit strange. There may be traps, so let's move carefully. ”
The dungeon that Ian's party is currently completing is a place called "Bandit's Lair."
Incredibly large pulsations in a comfy figure. And a hot beard.
Looks like a bandit to anyone (?) Enemies were on the move.
‘There's always a trap in this terrain. ’
Ian opens his inventory and pulls out the hidden detection scroll.
Hide-and-seek scrolling was a very expensive consumable item, but I bought it for this occasion, so I had no reason to save it.
If there really was a trap, the location would be revealed by the cloaking scroll, and the trap would be destroyed by a ranged attack.
At that time, Kaká, who was flying behind Ian, suddenly stopped Ian.
“Master, wait a minute. ”
“Why, what's going on? ”
“Don't use it, just wait. ”
“ …? ”
As well as Ian, all the group stares at Kaka with an interesting look, she flaps her small wings and slowly flies forward.
Ian shouted with a ridiculous expression.
“Hey, there might be traps over there, but what if you go ahead like that? ”
Kaka smiles and replies.
“I won't die even if a million traps explode, my lord. ”
“ …? ”
After a while, Kaka starts to move, sweeping the passageway thoroughly, and the passageway starts to vibrate with a loud noise.
Pow, pow, pow!
As Ian and Lemir predicted, there were a lot of traps.
But Kaka, as he assured me, did not diminish even one point of life.
Then Ian remembered Kaka's unique ability that he had forgotten.
‘Oh right, Kaka, is that... invincible in addition to the Light Attribute attack...? ’
The descendant of darkness, Kaka's first unique ability.
The progeny of darkness did not take any damage except for the attack of the light attribute. Instead, it was a passive ability that would be 50 times more damaged if struck by the attack of the light attribute.
And this was a tremendously optimized ability to eliminate traps.
Because there was very little damage to the light attributes in the trap.
Light attributes were unique to the priestly class, and none of the skills in the priestly class were related to trapping.
Kaka returns with a cheerful look after clearing all the traps.
Ian gives Kaka a balm of honey on his head.
Soy-
“Oh, don't hit me, master. ”
Ian tugs at Kaka's sheep balls.
“Hey, what if there was a light-attack trap in the middle of it? ”
Kaka insisted.
“There are no such traps! Have you ever seen a priest set a trap?! ”
Ian shakes his head and replies.
“No, it's not normally the case... but you don't know where there's a weird hidden-class. ”
I fought back without losing to Kaka.
“I've never seen such a trap in 3,000 years, my lord. ”
“ …. ”
After Kaka said that he had not seen him for 3,000 years, Ian was speechless.
“Hnng... ”
After all, Ian's group easily removes the traps set in a narrow path thanks to Caca, and quickly moves into the dungeon.
Inside, there are five namemonsters and a powerful boss monster waiting for you.
* * *
Kung-kung-!
The last field that Ian's party arrived in, it had an unusual terrain.
“Ahh... I'm afraid of heights...! ”
Remir covers his eyes with one hand, his face whitened.
And Remir wasn't the only one who was embarrassed.
Just in front of the field where the group arrived, there was a skyline stretched out, and only two lines of rope were connected to the boss John.
Hers looks embarrassed, muttering to Ian.
“Hey, that rope... Do I have to step on it? ”
Ian also replied with a shaky expression.
“We'll just have to step on it or hang on it... somehow?" ”
I felt it the other day when I went to the amusement park with Harin, but I was really scared of heights.
But only one.
In an unexpected ordeal, there was a blinking user.
“What's everybody doing? Let's move. If we get caught by the boss while we're here, we're screwed. ”
It looks too tough, so it doesn't match the look of a slim cut when touched.
Levia leaps into the rocks, and quickly begins to climb over the cliff, treading the rope.
“Well, well...! ”
Ian rolls his head quickly.
‘You can't stall like Levia said. ’
But Ian was never as confident crossing over as Levia.
Ian quickly climbed on Finn's back.
“Lemir, get in. ”
At Ian's words, Lemir looks like he met the Savior, and quickly climbs up behind him.
She grabs Ian by the waist without even knowing it.
“The remaining four will be sent back after I cross over, so you can take a ride. Of course, if you can jump like Levia, you're welcome to skip ahead. ”
“ …. ”
But there was no blacksmith as brave as Levia, and eventually Finn had to take turns and move everyone to the boss zone.
But the last two people climbed on Finn's back and crossed the ravine.
A loud vibration begins to erupt from the boss zone.
Who dared to invade my fortress?]
A shadow that raises a huge tongue and stares at Ian's group.
He was the boss and bandit leader of this dungeon, Camelot.
After confirming his appearance, Ian quickly made a decision about the situation.
“Dammit, we have to deal with each other first! Stall them until Hun and Hers get here! ”
The last two people who were crossing the tracks, Hun and Herce, were about 30 seconds away from reaching Boss John, and until then, they were very likely to be isolated if they just held their position.
Ian swung the Spirit King's judgment roughly and ran forward.
Ian's target is the boss monster, Camelot.
But even before he got there, Ian had to stop.
“Hey! I can't get any closer to the boss! ”
“Intruders! I'll kill you!" ”
Five Named Monsters appeared right in front of the group.
Ian's face frowned slightly.
‘Somehow, I didn't see any Named Monsters around to achieve over 90% of their rate... It was the most difficult type of dungeon. ’
Although there were differences between dungeons, most dungeons generally had fewer than three to as many as ten named monsters, with the exception of bosses.
Generally, they appeared one after the other each time they achieved a certain rate of achievement in the dungeon, and sometimes none of these appeared, but all the name monsters appeared with the boss.
This was a really tricky case.
‘Til Hers gets here, I need to tank my hair somehow. ’
Ian reflexively pulls back and forth, propelling himself forward and reforming the camp.
“Levia, I'm going to use a provocator, okay?! ”
“Okay!”
I didn't even have to explain it to Levia.
She had a gamesense that even if she said she was going to use a provocator, she could immediately understand that she was going to get hit with all her strength.
In addition, Levia clearly understands that Ian's first move is to buy time until Hers comes.
Of course, knowing how other party members' skills work was one of the basic senses, but it was also one of the basic and difficult to keep up.
Kung-kung-!
The bald head pressed both forelegs into the ground and triggered their unique abilities.
Gaaaaaa-!
[Summoned ‘Sticky’ 's unique ability, 'Earring Dragon Roar’ is activated.]
[King Camelot moves slower by 15% (-25%).]
[Bandit Leader 'Chales’ Movement is slowed by 35% (-5%)]
:
:
Ian reads the message, and immediately calculates the enemy's movements.
‘As expected, the boss monster is quite resistant. If you only cut your movement by 15%... we won't be able to attack too hard. ’
The rest of the Named Monsters had some resistance, but they were marginal compared to the boss.
It was obvious from the slightest movement of the enemies.
Ian thought he had to cut down the named monsters that were isolated to the left and right first.
“Hun! Help me! Everyone else, stop the boss! ”
Ian's words immediately give the party a nod, and Ian begins to move as he intended.
Just before Hers arrived, the tightness that had successfully survived the boss' attack fell slightly backwards, and after Hers took his place, he blocked the path completely from the boss monsters approaching Ian.
Then, one namemonster naturally isolated in front of Ian.
Ian was going to take advantage of a lot.
“Hun, you know? From the very beginning? ”
“Okay!”
Ian swings his spear and quickly approaches the Named Monster.
He was struck by the ‘Roar of the Earrings’, the provocator of his hair, and was moving very slowly.
‘You have less than 20 seconds before the taunt is released. ’
Before that, it was Ian's plan to get rid of one quickly, and it was well within the scope of possible.
Ian reaches close to the edge, and in the meantime, Hun casts a spell, and a strange aura of silence seeps into the window.
[The 'Spirit King's Judgment’ item received the 'Gandhun' skill and ‘Dark Seal’ effect on the party member. (5 sec.)]
[While the Dark Seal lasts, the "Spirit King's Judgment" attack power is increased by 137%.]
[All critical hits are engraved with a 'Dark Mark’ while the Dark Seal lasts.]
[Enemies engraved with 'Mark of Darkness’ take 33% of their damage for an extra 7 seconds. (Dark damage stacks.)]
Ian remembers system messages in front of him, but he doesn't even care.
It was a skill I had seen so far while partying.
And that moment.
Phew!
The Named Monster, the 'Chase’, passes through the dead man's jaw without a thought.
[You have dealt fatal damage to bandit leader Chelsea!]
[Bandit Leader Chales will be engraved with the Mark of Darkness!]]
The life force of a Named Monster that plunges into a single attack!
The ‘Chelsea’ began to feel overwhelmed by Ian and Hun's teamwork because it was unbelievably a name monster of over 400 levels.
“Brother! Two more! ”
Hun yells at Ian, and Ian knows exactly what that means.
I thought you said triple flags could do explosive damage. ’
The ‘Seal of Darkness’ effect received from Hun lasts only 5 seconds.
Ian calmly pulls out his spear and strikes Chelsea's torso in succession.
Puck-Pufolk-!
Stabbing deeper could have done more damage, but Ian didn't.
As long as there was a passive ability, 'weak spot', the ‘critical hit’ would explode even if the attack was successful, even if not deeply stabbed.
And Ian's attack never misses.
[You have dealt fatal damage to bandit leader Chelsea!]
[Bandit Leader Chales will be engraved with the Mark of Darkness!]]

In Ian's clash of five seconds before the number was up, Chase began to shake.
Ian checks to see if he can hit Chase's vital gauge.
‘I'm down about two-fifths of my life force. When the Flag Explosion goes in here...! ’
Flag explosion was one of Hun's most powerful attack skills, and Ian was waiting for it.
And Hun did not give up Ian's expectations.
