A soft light illuminates the window. The chirping of the little bird comfortably irritated Gin's ear.

"Ah, morning."

Gin slowly opened her eyelids as she let herself be blurred and in the morning mellow.

It's not the usual familiar tatami room in my eyes, it's the first inn room I visited yesterday.

"Are there sparrows in this world, too?

Jin got up while recognising that he was coming to another world.

"Hmm? Ooh."

I notice an abnormality in my body. A phenomenon that I had never felt in the last few decades was happening there.

The sheets around Jin's waist were thriving.

"Oh well. You're young."

For the first time in decades, the feeling stings and the gin crumbles. This would confuse me if my mental age were old, but it is a uncomfortable situation for Jin, who is also young in heart. What a strange situation, it's just been a long time since I can remember.

"Well, okay. Healthy."

Jin stepped out of bed and stretched his back before heading to the toilet on the ground floor.

After completing the use, the innkeeper was guided through the well in the backyard when asked where to wash his face.

Jin gratefully heads to the well.

"It doesn't smell like sweat, but I want to wash my body properly. The ideal is a bath..."

I fell asleep right after my meal yesterday, so I stayed sweaty in training. Besides, if you don't have a towel to wipe your body, you don't have a toothbrush. Jin kept in mind that he had to buy in all kinds of household goods as well as weapons and protective equipment today.

Wash your face with well water, wipe with your hands and cut the water because there are no towels. I'd really like to change, but I don't have any clothes to change, so I'm patient. This top and bottom of the tutorial gear is one of the few previous worlds left with the wooden sword, if you ask me. Jin thought again to take care of it.

I don't see anyone else in the courtyard. Gin starts his routine radio gymnastics when it's just right for waiting for the water to dry up.

My body is stretched out and feels better than usual because I am a healthy young body. Continuing radio gymnastics with the image of firmly stretching her body, she glanced at the tall young dog ear woman who came out the door leading to the courtyard where she plugged around the middle.

When Jin meets lightly, she moves a little over the edge to make it easier for the woman to use the well. And I resumed trying to keep the radio gymnastics going until the end, but after a while I noticed the woman's gaze at this one. Jin didn't think he was in the way, but he stopped radio gymnastics along the way because he was getting a little embarrassed and left the scene early enough when he met the dog-eared woman again.

Upon returning to her room, Jin decided to use her time to breakfast to determine her future policy.

The first step is to convert it to a Japanese yen and spend more than 700 million dollars.

Just because you have money, it's out of the question to live a luxurious life without a thread on the gold. Jin wanted to enjoy this other world, but he didn't want to make it easier. Also, unworthy money is what calls misfortune.

Jin concludes that it is a matter of being able to keep an eye on weird people, or at least seal them until they have gained quite a bit of strength.

However, when I entered the city, I had the gatekeeper Burke exchange me one large gold coin, so I decided that I could use it if I wanted to. Since there was still going to be room for a set of gear from Burke's mouth, he thought it would be sufficient for the moment.

"Now, why don't you put together a list of things to do?"

That said, Jin makes the [notebook] of the menu appear on hand. And with the pen I imagined as well, I began to write down what I needed to do for bullets.

-All weapons and protective equipment. Keep the weapon as a sword, an easy one for beginners to buy.

Put together household goods. Towels, changing clothes, underwear, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap

· Gather information. If there's a library, I'll go. Buy Skills, Maps, Standing Positions, General Common Sense, Sex, History Books?

-Alliance. Officially become an adventurer. Accept the request. Train. Voluntary training, too?

· Meet Burke. Security Deposit Refund Procedures.

· Use skills. Unattributed magic in a situation where no one is watching, appraisal.

-Go to the temple. Greetings. Skill verification pending.

-Check the menu. All you have to do is set up.

-Magic. Are the attributes the same? How to master it? How to remember a spell. If I had a book, I would buy it.

· Home. Market, rent, buy, bath, remodel, new construction

"Is this what this is all about? Well, I'll add it when I think of it."

For now, Jin wrote it out as he came up with it. The last house will be a story ahead, but I'd like to do something about it sooner if I can. I want to take a proper bath, and it would be expensive and a waste to base the inn like this. It was a Japanese request and an old-fashioned economic concept (a waste).

Jin totally liked this city in one day yesterday, so he wasn't thinking about leaving this city or anything.

"All right, now all you can do is check the menu."

That's what Jin says. In an attempt to digest the list quickly, he calls [Settings] in [Menu]. I've never seen it properly before, but there were four items: [Quest] [Log] [Advanced] [Help].

Of these, I have seen about [Quest] and [Log], so I omitted it and Jin decided to take a look at [Help].

That looked like help remained for the VR game New World & New Life. I checked the [appraisal] using the search function in the sense of confirmation, but it didn't look the same to Jin as it did to me when I was playing VR games, so I decided to move on until I needed to see it.

But Jin wasn't playing games in the virtual world, he was reincarnated into the reality of a different world. Just as the [menu] of the game system has become a skill for reincarnation, there is no way that the content of help will change to suit this world. If Jin was the type of person who would load the manual properly, some of the problems and troubles he might face in the future could have been avoided beforehand.

But in the end it was also Jin's choice, and it was never all bad.

Without realizing that he had missed a lot, Jin decided to continue to check the details of the [Detail Settings].

· Map

-Windows

· Combat system

-Time

-Language

-Music

There were items I was interested in, but first I would select the [map] that Chris had recommended.

-MAP display

· Navigation functions

-Target display

The item appeared. They were all OFF, so when [MAP display] was turned on first, the window appeared as usual. In that window, I thought of it as an inn, mainly in this room where Jin lived, and the MAP was displayed. Switching upstairs and upstairs on the ground floor, and zooming in and out, were just what I thought. Expanding enlargement opened the whole map of this city, and further expanding it opened the world map around this city. However, most of them were invisible because they only showed around places they had been to.

Jin decided to return the scale to this inn and then try [Target Indication]. When the setting is turned on, a lot of items were added to the Target View.

[Biological] [Human] [Demonic] [Animal] [Hostile] [Friendly] [Vigilant] [Size] [Gender] Many others, apparently able to set in detail the type and state of light points to be displayed on the MAP.

By way of example, when the display was [biological], a white light point was clearly displayed above the number of people on the MAP of the inn. In particular, I had a bad feeling about the large number of things around the cooking area, so limiting the display to [human] reduced the number at once. I turned on emotional states such as [hostility] [vigilance] [friendship] by daring to ignore the unpleasant results as expected, but nothing changed. This probably means that no one has that kind of emotion because they don't know each other as well as the people in the inn. Jin was horrified that the woman who had just been watched radio gymnastics in the courtyard was not alert. At the same time, I felt sorry for the fact that it had become an act of peeking into other people's emotions, and I turned off the display of emotional relationships once.

Where I've been confused by many other items that are still there, I remembered the word that depends on the image Chris was saying. I was able to change the size of the map consciously in my head, fine changes such as adjusting the alert level, and so on without having to set it individually and without any problems as I imagined. I didn't know if this fuzzy responsiveness was the awesomeness of the original gaming system or a fantastic force, but I think Jin would appreciate it because it's convenient in any case.

In the end, we thought only about keeping ourselves safe. For now, we set [target display] to display only [hostile] individuals with more malicious intentions than "conscious of harming this party".

This is a fully convenient feature. If you need anything else, you just have to change it.

"Fuzzy is awesome in the image"

Out of the way, Jin laughed.

Next, try turning on the Navigation Function. This was also a feature recommended by Chris. Turning it on increased the number of items just like earlier, but there were only two.

[Search] … You can set various criteria for searching, such as name, occupation, store name and business description.

[Destination] … you can select a destination or anywhere on your quest and navigate to it.

"This is easy to understand."

Jin took a breather and searched "Burke" to see but it showed 0 people. Turning the range into this city, the display increased to 4 people and was easily visible with dots and large arrow marks on the MAP. Then when I searched for soldiers, I became one. Aware of that Burke as a destination, the route appeared on the MAP just like the car navigation. Jin thought he might be able to use it later when visiting Mr. Burke.

Finally, I thought about searching for instructors Greg and the receptionist as well, but the instructor stopped thinking they were rude to women anyway.

"Try to use it conveniently but with proper common sense. Yeah."

If you make a mistake, you're a stalker. He was a single-minded gin to tell himself as he reflected.

"But now you won't get lost. Glad."

It's a really appreciated feature as I was having trouble with directional tone deafness. Jin was pleased.

The map goes to the next window around here.

[Window] was simple. Simply put, you can change your appearance. It is possible to colour the frames around the windows with luxurious decorations made of precious metals, but also to surround them fantastically with wooden branches and flames. And not only that, but it is also possible to change the material on the surface of the window where information is reflected, such as parchment, scrolls, wooden slabs, paper, etc.

Jin called in the image of [basic information] as a scroll type used by ninjas, but even the information displayed in the details had turned into letters as written in the brush. The display can also be made to open itself, and it can be treated as if I actually had it. Of course, it's actually only video, but it's really interesting because it can also reproduce pseudo-tactile sensations like touch panel manipulation. Besides, basically the window is only visible to me, but by turning on the display function, it is also possible to show it to others. Regardless of practicality, I really liked it with the great features to be able to play with.

But when Jin played all the way through and ended the [window] setting, the setting eventually remained the default, and only [notebook] turned on the display. Apparently Jin doesn't have much of a personality to pay attention to for his own use.

[Time] and [Music] were also interesting. The time is simply a clock function, but the display can be fixed to the back of the hand, to the body of the wooden sword, to the appropriate wall, etc. Afterwards it is fixed unless the appearance location is changed. Of course, the shape and display method can be changed depending on the image.

Jin plays with the image of a fantasy-looking wooden bracelet shaped watch. And since it is not an entity anyway, Jin decided to keep it intact. Of course it's a display OFF setting that no one else can see. It was a harvest to know that the world was 24 hours a day.

[Music] was simply able to configure everything about sound. It was more than a [window] play function if you ask Jin to play music to BGM, sound effects, and let him listen to it besides himself. The audio source was game material only and the choice was less wide, but in any case it wasn't as problematic for Jin, who had long been a player who didn't listen to much music. In the end, there was no change here either, and it ended with the default setting OFF.

When I opened [language], I finally realized that I had no difficulty in conversing or reading or writing in this world.

· Language settings [Japanese]

The setting was the default Japanese, but the [] part can be changed to languages from around the world, such as English and unique language.

The VR game New World & New Life was sold worldwide, so it would have been equipped with these translation features. It was a gin that I am glad was not exclusively sold in Japan.

And all that remained was a [battle system] that seemed important. But after quite some time to get here, and after going through more combat, Jin decided it seemed better to set it up, and decided to put it behind him again. Jin didn't lose out on the hunger he's felt for a while. I think.

"I'm hungry. Just in time, and let's go to dinner."

Jin said that while looking at the bracelet watch. The time was past 8am.

That's how Jin went down to the ground floor and enjoyed plenty of delicious breakfast while purchasing information from the employee's sister (estimated to be over 40 years old) in various public stories.

Thus Jin was able to begin the first morning of life in another world in such a fulfilling way.

And he turned to the whole city in a heartbeat at the beginning of his adventurous life.
