Beginner Course Beginning

The next day, Jin even trained in the guild.

Head to the guild first thing in the morning and train voluntarily after the preparatory exercise. When the instructor came, he was carefully trained under his guidance.

The training on that day took place at the archery centre and was continued with little rest until evening, except for a lunch break along the way. And when I finished shopping for tomorrow in a short time after the training, I took a bath and dinner and loaded the book I borrowed from Aria until bed at the inn.

And the night dawned, and it was finally beginner's day of study.

Jin started eating the breakfast she had prepared early in the morning and received two servings of the lunch she had asked Inn's sister for yesterday.

I had a big bucket of sandwiches sprinkled with cheese and broiled, still in hot condition.

Jin thanked her for moving for herself in the early morning and put that bucket in the [tool bag] while it was supposed to cool down.

And when I finished my delicious breakfast today, I left the inn about 30 minutes before the rally time.

Jin, who has experience working for the company, believes it is essential that she arrives five minutes before her appointment. Those five minutes will be used to get your mind ready, for example, by sorting out your upcoming appointments.

So I also thought about the loss of time. The actual arrival schedule is set 10 minutes before the appointment. It's called "Behavior 10 Minutes Ago."

But still, it's too early to leave the inn 30 minutes ago, but that's what I'm going to do for the prep exercise. Today the athletic field is open earlier than usual for beginner courses, and it was confirmed yesterday that it is already open about 30 minutes before the meeting time.

Upon arrival at the guild, Jin greeted officials who were at work to enter the stadium and carefully began a preparatory campaign that included radio gymnastics. And when Jin completed a street-preparedness exercise, people who seemed to be pounding and participating came into the athletic arena. And by the time it was seven o'clock of the appointment, all the participants were in place.

"All right, we're all gathered."

Instructor Greg speaks to everyone that way. Jin greets each other with courtesy when Greg shows up on this occasion.

"The purpose of this novice course is to help you newcomers get the foundation to become a one-man adventurer and not die easily."

With that said, instructor Greg looked sharply at Jin and the newcomers (Rookies) and went on even further.

"An adventurer is basically a life-threatening job. Unfortunately, you know how many people die every year. So I'm going to teach you how not to die as much as I can. Feel free to learn. All right?!

"" Yes!

All participants respond to Greg's powerful inquiry with momentum.

There was just the power to make it so.

"All right, then I'll start by introducing you to those who coach you. First, it's me, Greg, who's in charge of this one. And Melinda, who's a teacher just like me. These two will be guild people."

That's what Greg introduced me to was an elf woman.

For Jin, it was an image of a long-lived species that would not age after growing up when it came to elves, but in this world there was no difference in life expectancy due to race.

I just don't know the actual age of instructor Melinda, who looks around those 30, because the elves had the characteristic of aging slower than the rest of the species. However, as much as I'm a teacher with Greg, Jin wondered if I was sure of that strength.

"Next are the senior adventurers who will support you. You guys introduce yourselves."

That said, Greg urges a few adventurers who were lined up beside him.

"Then let's start with me. Gain is the leader of The Wind Seeker. And these guys are also members Abe and Moose, all ranked C. There are others, but this time the three of us are in. Nice to meet you."

That's what I said and greeted the guy in his early 20s with a pleasant impression. The two introduced also say "hello," one word at a time.

"Then it's me at the end. Elsa the D-rank adventurer. I'm usually the two of us, too, but this time I'm on my own. Regards."

That's what Elsa said. When she glanced at Jin, she grinned niggly.

As for Elsa, I guess she feels like the prank was a success, but Jin doesn't think she did anything else because she was convinced the other day that this is what Elsa was talking about.

Instead, I was glad I knew someone, so I honestly laughed and gave it back.

To say that she didn't have any direct contact just laughing at it is to say that Elsa is avoiding talking to Jin because of her role.

It is certainly not a good idea to speak intimately to one of your mentors in front of other newcomers.

Jin also thanked Elsa for her consideration.

"Okay, so now it's your rookie's turn. Yeah, let me tell you something, just say one name and possession skill. Hiding information is fundamental to the adventurer."

That's how Jin and the newcomers started introducing themselves this time. A total of seven new adventurers, four men and three women, including Jin, took part in this one.

About the same age as Jin, or maybe a little younger. The seemingly motivating appearance was a very favorable one for Jin.

Hurry up and shake your head to cancel what you are going to see unexpectedly in Grandpa mode.

Jin is a newbie who has a lot to learn here, so we have to work hard with the same eyes.

"I say gin. Skill is [swordsmanship]. Thank you very much."

That Gin greeting concluded with the introduction of all the newcomers.

"All right, the details will also have an opportunity to talk during the upcoming course. But be thorough about not sharing important information with each other. Good?!

"" Yes!

"Good reply. Then start the beginner's course sooner than this. First, check your gear and possessions. Now get what I say out front. First the main weapon."

Each instructor checks the main weapons listed by Jin and the others. When I visually checked the condition of the weapon, I went on to see if there was a problem.

"All right, next up is the side weapon (subwebon)"

Likewise, each offered before, but here came a waste from the instructors.

"Look, basic weapons are consumables. Sometimes they can't be used in battle. It's the sub-weapons that matter when that happens. This has nothing to do with the avant-garde or the rear guard. Preparation in times of need picks up lives. And whoever thinks of a dagger in that weapon at the rookie stage first, throw away the idea. There are some of you, but the short reach of the dagger is often unfavourable in the battle against the Warcraft unless you have the skills. The short reach is deadly, especially among newcomers lacking skill. Conversely, it's often effective in interpersonal matches, but it's still early for you guys. However, since daggers are light, they are definitely ideal as a third weapon (Third Weapon), so I think it would be a good idea to hold them separately for melee. The unsuccessful will discuss it with us now and decide what to do. Anyone who passes the check is asked to tell their predecessors about their choice of arming."

With that said, Greg takes four unsuccessful people and moves them a little further away.

The remaining new rice is gin and two women. One possesses two small swords (short swords) and the other is a combination of a battle hammer (warhammer) and a small sword.

"You guys pass, but I think you should either replace one with a strike-based weapon if you can, or add one. Small swords can lack the power of a single blow for easy handling, and some warcraft can't get through."

Yes, senior adventurer Gain advises. When the level rises, the status rises and the selection widens, but the low level does not make sense.

"The cleric's sister thinks the choice of weapon is fine. Warhammers are heavy and difficult to handle, but they are also effective for heavily armored ones."

Sometimes weapons of the strike system are hard to break, and I guess the little sword is only a spare.

The hammer is a weapon with one side of the tip pointy as a hammer and the other pointy as a long tip. There is also a long pattern type but what she has is a short one that is not 1m long. It is a vicious weapon that can be both crushed on the hammer side and pierced on the pointed side.

In Gin's unsolicited image, it was a slightly unsuitable weapon for her wearing a cleric's robe, but its effectiveness is beyond question.

"Well, you're both using a rare weapon. So is the assembled longspear, but most importantly, I've never seen a guy use a wooden sword in action. Is that going to continue to be used?

At the end of the day, Gain asks Jin yes. For Jin, it's a question that has been decided from the beginning.

"Yes, because this wooden sword looks sturdy and can be used properly"

"Yeah, it sure doesn't sound cheap, but think about changing it in the future. Excessive thoughts on weapons can be dangerous."

Yes, it was a gain telling me to teach Jin, but it's certainly advice that if Jin's wooden sword is just a wooden sword, he fired a target. It would strangle me as an adventurer to continue to use weapons of much lower performance even if I level them up because they are thoughtful.

This time, Jin's weapon just didn't happen to be normal.

"Yes, thank you"

So Jin smiled and thanked her for the advice. Thank you for the advice you actually gave me.

Jin also thought that the use of weapons would certainly be important, and because he could use convenient features such as [tool bags] and [equipment], he thought he would try various weapons in the future.

"Yeah, well. It's about when you need it."

Gain nodded contentedly about what he felt in Jin's reply.

And then when I was listening to Gaines and the others about their experience with the use of weapons, the unsuccessful group that finished talking to Greg and the others came back.

"You kept me waiting. I think those who waited also had something to feel about the seniors' story. The unsuccessful group is not going to buy weapons now either, but be aware of them in the future. All right?"

"" Yes ""

"Okay, next..."

That's how the checks by Teacher Greg and the others continued. Future advice on the equipped condition of the protective equipment and how to maintain it easily. It was a fine object for stripping potions, collecting tools, etc., and other general adventures.

It is still a financially painful new America, so naturally most people could not get everything together. But I can tell you that's why it was meaningful.

Of course, it was the same for Jin, and she learned a lot about things she didn't know or wasn't aware of.

When all the checks were done that way, Greg looked over at the jinns and said.

"I checked various items this time, but these preparations are the minimum foundation as adventurers. In addition to these things in the future, you must be prepared for any additional requests you may receive. And at this preparatory stage, it may be said that 90% of the success or failure of an adventure will be determined. This is a drill, so the details were down, but in action, don't fail to gather and prepare information in advance. All right?"

"" Yes ""

"Okay, I'll do the squad division at the end. From now on, we'll act on that squad to our destination. Each of you, think and act on your part."

Here are the squads divided by Greg who said so:

Class 1

Course participants: Albert (Swordsmanship), Sherry (Swordsmanship), Rachel (Recovery Magic)

Advisor: Greg Instructor Moose Elsa

Class 2

Participants in the course: Cain (Swordsmanship), Dan (Fire Magic), Meg (Recovery Magic), Jin (Swordsmanship)

Advisor: Melinda Instructor Gain Abe

* () is a skill declared by each of them in their introduction.

Three to four newcomers each and the organization said three veterans to follow it.

Plus new women and veteran women are separated so that they can follow each other. The first squad has Elsa on Sherry and Rachel, and the second squad has Melinda on Meg and so on.

Here's a new skill called "Recovery Magic," but in the setting of the VR game "New World & New Life," which Jin was playing just before he came to this world, there were only six attribute magics: firewater, wind, earth, light and darkness. But in addition to this world, there are various other magics such as "healing magic," "space magic," and "granting magic."

However, because some magic is difficult to master, what is common is magic based on four elements of fire-water terroir, also known as basic magic.

Rachel and Meg possess the skills of "Recovery Magic", a magic that temple officials often wake up to, which is relatively well seen next to four-element magic.

Jin, who was perusing a book he borrowed from Aria last night, knew about these magical beings and reaffirmed once again that this is a different real world than the game.

And at the same time, he felt excited about the romantic advent of new magic.

"All right, then we'll travel to our destination at this temporary party. Learn the roles and behaviors of each party here. If it's above C-rank, it's almost imperative that we throw a party. Do it with the intent of pre-practice. Then let's go!"

With that Greg decree, Jin and the others began moving.

After leaving the gate, each of the two parties was distanced to the extent that they could be seen and moved off the street.

That's how Jin learned not only his role as an avant-garde, but also what to look out for in the case of a rear guard, among other things, from instructors Melinda and Gaines. Gain also taught me what leaders know and what to look for when organizing a party.

Aside from whether she would be a leader or not, Jin looked forward to seeing if she would have a party someday.

Even as we walked vigilantly on the road, the conversations between the newcomers played.

Cain is from Albert and his fellow swordsman dojo in the first squad, and he says he and I have just become adventurers. Especially since Albert has a sword talent, and he's a little strong on me for that, but he's not a bad guy.

I thought Jin would be so because this is how the two of us are going to be adventurers.

And Meg, who said he was doing clerical apprenticeships with Dan, a mage, and Shelley, who's in the front squad, are from the same village and are childhood friendly.

Gin was just a little envious of the fact that two women per man said this was a harem state, but I don't think it should explode.

They're all boys and girls a little younger than Jin, each with a good spot.

He remembered his original world nephews and their children and was a dusty gin.

The Jins kept walking, and just past 70% of the itinerary to their destination, they were to join once and take a small pause.

"All right, then we'll take a watch and take turns taking a break. Me and Shelley will be out of first squad, and Abe and the rookie will be out of second squad. Adventurers are essential for breakfast. Eat up and rest your body."

"Well, shall I go at first?"

Jin took the initiative to raise his name because he was not feeling particularly tired, and then stood guard with Abe for about 10 minutes.

Of course, so far on the road, [signs perception] is always going on.

But I wonder if purposefully taking a break in three shifts means telling newcomers to communicate with each other and get along during this time.

I've never been close because it's like synchronization, so to speak, and maybe it makes sense to identify me as a future party candidate. Even more, Jin guessed that it meant training in communication skills.

When Jin took full watch of the allotted time, he took turns with the cains who came instead.

Looks like Albert and Cain are out of the rookie for the next watch.

Jin approached where the rest of the members were gathered to sit.

"Good luck. You're all done eating."

"" You're annoying, Jin. () "

Jin was put to the word of labor, but apparently the meal is over and now it's chat time. Gin also serves a sandwich from the [tool bag] and eats it.

Is time still stopping in the [toolbag], or is it just a hot morning?

Jin decided to eat it in a hurry before he could break it off.

"Nevertheless, I came to that Albert guy. I'm weirdly confident, and all of a sudden I invited you to a party. Of course I said no."

It was Sherry from the first squad who was standing on the lookout earlier to raise such a frustrating voice while picking up a meal. I know you're foolish about childhood, but inevitably you're telling everyone here.

"Oh, it sure looks like there's a place like that. Cain took me on the lookout for something a little subtle earlier."

Dan is the one who answers that with a bitter laugh. Meg agrees with me next door and nods, but Shelly's chatting hasn't stopped since.

Jin is impressed with strange things when she is clever while eating.

"Rachel was in trouble, too. You're just fine because you can use healing magic. What do you mean, hey?

Shelley spoke to Rachel in the same squad with outrage.

"Right. The trouble is the truth."

Rachel, on the other hand, answers pale. Compared to Shelley, it's cold enough to clap it out a little.

Jin, who has finished her meal, also participates in the conversation.

"Cain at the same gate said there's something a little strong about me, but he's not a bad guy, and maybe he's still overmeasuring the distance, right?

"Uh-huh. But I don't like that guy. If I could, I wouldn't want to go back to the same squad."

Shelley, who looks down on her face, seems to be largely uncomfortable with Albert.

Jin decided to keep her mouth shut in order to improve the relationship, not to leave her alone from old age from past experience.

"This is the kind of idea that you have. Ask me."

That's right, Jin keeps talking.

"People are always good and bad, aren't they? Yet it's easy to notice what's wrong with people. For example, can you say a lot about people's shortcomings and dislikes right away, but can't you say the strengths and the good things that are that easy?

I wonder how it was, I do think the surroundings might be. While ascertaining that reaction, Jin connects words again.

"So when dealing with others, I think you should deal with them with them with the intention of looking for the best place you can. And even if you don't like that person, you don't have to hate him because there's something you can admit. We're buddies on this course, aren't we? If they're not people who don't care, they're not enemies. Then the only thing you don't like about that person is the downside. If you don't hate me, I've never been over it."

It's one of the so-called 'beauty stares' ideas.

"Uh-huh. I know what you're saying, but you didn't talk to him directly, did you?

You're not convinced, Shelly tells Jin.

"Yes. But listening to Mr. Sherry, I think there's something cute about Mr. Albert, isn't there?

"" Pretty?!

Surprised everyone listens.

"'Cause I don't feel like I'm trying to make myself look good without knowing how to deal with the girls? You're inviting me to a party,' cause at least you're not seeing Mr. Shelley and the others favorably. Most of all, I'm pretty sure that's fundamentally the wrong way to do it. But isn't it cute to feel clumsy and not worldly, including in places like that?

It's a favorable view because Albert is Cain's friend, but Jin says as he grins so.

And when everyone finished chewing the words, laughter spilled out of nowhere.

"Pup, there are some cute things to think about that for sure. Pfft."

Shelley laughing the most complaining.

That's how she saw everyone laughing, and Jin stroked her breasts down in a ho.

I'm one of them for a short period of time, so I don't want the bad feelings to last as long as I can, and now I hope they reset it once and for all.

That's how everyone laughed and the place soothed, and Jin adds one last word.

"It's just, of course, this isn't what he's saying to laugh and forgive whatever he does. If he behaves or speaks inadmissibly to you, be properly angry then. If you can forgive them on top of that, you just have to look for another good place."

"You should deal with it as usual, but also look for good places so that you don't hate it as much as you can. I think I can do that."

"Good. Well, this is just my way of thinking."

I'm glad Jin also managed to tell you what he wanted to say. We all enjoyed the short time to take turns afterwards, talking about no other love.

However, Jin sees Jin as surprised from a short distance away, he was unaware of the gaze of the pullers.

And in the sight of Rachel, the grandson of Chief Clark, who has a mixture of more serious things than anyone else on the spot.
