"Yeah, it's delicious"

Tasted the white stew in the pan, Jin muttered contentedly.

After meeting with Ganz, Jin went back to his home and just finished making dinner for today. Some of the stews contain large chopped vegetables and plenty of chicken and sausage, and the volume is full. As for the meal, there are only salads and bread available other than stew, so there are fewer items than usual, but Jin prepared a few separate items as a pinch of booze, so that's the form of a combined report.

"Then Rachel, I'll take care of it later. Because stews are fine just to warm up before eating. Later, we'll be preparing snacks and drinks, so enjoy Rachel and the others tomorrow to the point where they won't be affected."

Jin sometimes went to swallow with Greg and the others alone, and prepared a little better than usual liquor for Rachel and the others.

Elsa hasn't been home yet but will be back soon, and continues yesterday. Aria plans to have dinner here today, so it will be dinner for three women. Jin thought it would be hard to talk about having a man, and it wouldn't be bad to just be a woman once in a while.

"Yes, thank you. Don't take your wings off too much either (...)"

Rachel smiles, but the second half may not have been a little too much. But you can't possibly notice the gin anywhere.

"Yeah. Don't get drunk, though. Well, I'll be there."

Jin answered with an uncontrolled smile and headed to the rendezvous place with Greg and the others a little earlier than the promised time.

"Now for the safe return of the Jins. … Cheers."

Along with Greg's head of voice, three (...) glasses are lightly met. There are three people in one of these restaurants: Jin, Greg, and Ganz.

The original promise was only with Greg, but Jin invited Ganz to drink for the three of us. Of course, there is a natural reason why Jin did that.

But it is not now that it is spoken of, but while enjoying a meal and a drink for a while, the three spent talking about the lack of other love between men.

And as the meal calmed down and the specific gravity of the alcoholic drinks biased, the content of the story gradually changed to more serious content.

"… so we have yet to find a magical anomaly that, pitifully but as always, seems to be the cause of 'magic fever'. Nothing has recurred, but given the fact that there are a few new children suffering from Magic Fever, the magic abnormality has not yet healed."

Greg distorts his face with regret and opens the glass with nearly 1/3 of the liquor left.

In past instances of 'magic fever' that Jin had previously heard from Clark, the story was that after some time the outbreak of natural and magic fever would heal. But you can't just wait for an uncertain situation about when that's going to happen. How much 'magic fever' can be said to have a cure, but there is no guarantee that a magic abnormality will not cause any other disaster.

"I don't know what else to do. Here..."

Yes, Gantz spoke to Greg and poured booze into the empty glass.

"I know you do. If you can see them, you can beat them, but I don't like this unseen situation."

Greg says so and puts his mouth on the booze, but this time he doesn't imitate it all at once.

"Has anything changed?

Jin asked as he shifted the knobbed plate towards Greg.

"Nothing unusual happened while you guys were gone. Of course you don't hear about the mutant species, or about some unusual warcraft. At least I haven't heard anything abnormal about the Warcraft relationship."

"I've been wondering if there have been any unusual rumors around the city, but don't listen to anything I care about."

Apparently, as far as Greg and Gantz know, nothing has changed. However, given the current situation, which is growing in magic enough to affect the children, it should not be surprising to see changes such as simply an increase in the number of Warcraft appearances. But when you can't even see such signs, it can be described as an increasingly creepy situation.

Jin, who heard the story, roared in arms.

"Uh-huh. It's not a bit refreshing, but if this happens, you might not know it's not after something happens. I couldn't even discover if the magic anomaly was not covered in my" map (arr), "and I guess I'll just have to be ready so whatever happens?

"Right. Let's increase our Alliance stockpiles a little."

Jin's remarks ended up like solitary, but Greg also agreed with such Jin's words.

"Why don't you suggest it at the next meeting?

What Ganz refers to here as a "meeting" is a meeting that brings together representatives from various fields such as Adventurer Guild, Merchant Guild and Artisan Guild, as well as officials seconded by the state, and is held once a month.

The city of Lienz operates the city in these systems of consultation, and officials seconded by the state are responsible for administrative details, but only the subject of policy decisions is each guild.

Some other cities have direct national jurisdiction over politics, but the city of Lienz, which operates in this way, can be described as a relatively independent city.

"You can suggest it, but it's a subtle place. I have a weak case for magic abnormalities."

Blurry with Greg balding his head.

It is difficult to ignore the interests of the organizations to which each belongs at a meeting, and passing a proposal requires only clear grounds to convince the surrounding parties.

Greg and the others understand that "Magic Fever" was caused by a magic anomaly, but the information was brought about by Jin's "appraisal". As far as magic anomalies are concerned, it is only a prediction, beyond the inability to publish that source.

Incidentally, the fact that "magic anomalies are the cause of 'magic fever'" is presented not as a temple but only as Clark's personal view (...). Of course, this does not put Jin's "appraisal" on the table, so Jin heard this Clark's views and came up with a cure, which resulted in his successful treatment. So as an event, I affirm the existence of a magical anomaly, but that's why I was weak to say it was a clear basis.

Greg explained it additionally and Jin felt a little sorry. It seemed to me that Greg was having difficulty asserting the facts in order to protect his (Jin) secrets.

Sure, I'm sorry to make a scene about keeping it a secret, but Jin thought it might help in a different way.

"This may not be a very good idea, but isn't my name available?

I put a question mark over my head and Greg and the others take a stance listening to Jin.

"The relationship between magic anomalies and 'magic fever' is easy to understand as a mechanism, and it's backed up as fact, right? It's not a clear basis, but in addition to these facts, how about submitting considerations about magic abnormalities in my name, for example, as a dossier? My name has sold in this case, and I hate to say it, but many of you feel grateful for it, so it's hard to ignore it? If I could work with Mr. Clark later, I think it would be more credible..."

Ginn, who noticed Greg and Gantz's unexpected looking face, gave his opinion even as he whispered a little at the end.

"No, sure, that might work, but are you good? You're gonna stand out, aren't you?

Guntz says so worried, but that was Greg's opinion as well. Also, because they had an honest image of Jin not liking the use of his name, it was surprising that Jin offered to do so himself.

"It's already noticeable, and if you stand out like this, you're still fine."

Gin brightly affirms the concern of those Gregs. There's no reason to avoid Jin because this way you can't be secretive, and it's good for Greg and the others. Gin, an old man who looked young but was of real age, had nothing to do with cleanliness disorder due to his youth, etc.

But here Jin becomes a serious face, and in doing so he speaks of the inner anxiety that made Greg and the others want to cooperate.

"Besides, I figured it bothered me that there were no more Warcraft. The more magic you're supposed to be causing the 'magic fever', the more magic you're supposed to have."

As the Divine Beast Perglune said, the Warcraft should be caused by excess magic, but reports have not come up that there are more Warcraft even now, which should be increasing in magic due to magic abnormalities. So where did the magic power that was supposed to be consumed by generating that warcraft go?

"I don't know what a magical anomaly can cause, but in the current situation, I really think about the worst."

The city where 'Magic Heat' has developed in the past, which was in the temple's records that Jin heard from Clark, no longer exists.

"... runaway (stampede)"

Greg talks about the worst that Jin has ever said, and Jin nods.

"I don't think you're thinking too much. I like this city, and I'm really worried about it."

Jin says to delude me that it has become a serious atmosphere.

"Oh, I think too much. But let me sweeten your words and have you write a brush. Sheriff Clark will do me a favor."

Greg said as he poured booze into Gin's glass, determined to blow his anxiety away.

Exactly not big enough to prepare for the 'runoff', but it should be possible to take measures to the extent of increasing stocks of food and medicines if we get on with the gin proposal. Greg decided to finish the materials as soon as possible for the meeting.

"Yes, with pleasure"

Jin replies with a smile, but everyone there, including Jin, hoped that these preparations would be wasted.

Men's drinking seats are, of course, fun to talk about, but for some reason they often talk about work entanglements. The same was true of the earlier story of a magical anomaly, which is perhaps unconsciously seeking even advice.

Jin and the others who left the restaurant moved the place to a quiet bar. And the story had also moved on to Gin's journey, but there was an inevitable topic there.

"... do you regret it?

Greg, who's finished listening to Jin, asks Jin that. An inevitable topic is, of course, killing Gerd.

"No, that was the only way I could take it then. But that doesn't mean I don't feel anything."

The look on Jin's face to answer was bitter.

"Right. Then what do we do next? Now you look weaker than yourself, but when you get caught bandits attacking people,"

The voice Greg asks is harsh. Greg was asking about his readiness as an adventurer.

"I'll kill you. If you're trying to take the life of this person, I'll take the life of the other person as well. Because I'm not strong enough to have the option not to kill you."

Jin will not escape, and he will answer directly. That's why Jin vowed with Elsa and the others that he would be strong.

"Right."

Greg nodded, and loosened his mouth satisfactorily.

"Don't forget what you're feeling right now. It's the spiciness that killed people, and the lives that I protected with it. The moment you forget it, you disqualify as an adventurer."

Because you are an adventurer who hunts for life so much as a warcraft, it is unacceptable to forget the lives to protect.

"Conversely, it's a condition for a single adventurer not to forget it."

Following Greg, Gantz slapped Jin on the back and said.

This is like an adventurer's ritual of passage that has led to some rank. It was the path we had taken ourselves, and the eyes of the two of us looking at Jin were gentle.

"Yes!"

Jin engraves the words of respectable predecessors on his chest. Sometimes she would feel painful, but still, Jin decided to live forward.

The two people, smiling and nodding at such a gin's attitude, bowed their heads deeply towards Jin at the end.

"You've protected the Arias a lot. Thanks."

The life Jin defended was irreplaceable for both of us.

The feast, which was fun and meaningful, was about to end.

Jin had one last thing to tell Greg and Gantz. Jin corrects his posture and opens his mouth towards the two of them.

"Mr. Greg. Mr. Gantz, as you may have already heard, Aria has quit her guild and will be throwing a formal party with us. We will all grow together and be strong so that we can protect each other. Thank you for your continued guidance."

That said Jin bows his head deeply. Jin wanted to say a proper hello to the two of Aria's parents. By the way, I've said a solid hello to Hilda at the orphanage, who could be another parent's replacement.

Also, Gin's heart has a strong will to be sure to protect three people: Aria, Elsa and Rachel, but what I told Greg and the others here was the will to protect each other (...). That's because it was the ideal party for Jin and the others to be able to protect each other instead of someone unilaterally protecting someone.

Jin vowed to make it happen in front of Greg and the others.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of Aria."

Ganz had conveyed his thoughts to Jin from the bottom of his heart.

From the time I thought Aria introduced me and Jin came to my shop, I might have been waiting for this day to come. I was squeezed in later, but Rosen's flower prank was also very satisfying as a result. I felt something close to certainty from then on, but it finally became real. Gantz was happy.

"Right. Unfortunately, as an Alliance Master, I will be able to pull out competent staff, but as an individual, I will support Aria's decision."

Greg also remembered the day Jin first came to the guild. Aria was smiling, albeit slightly, during the day she first met Jin. Seeing how Aria was like that, I put my hopes on Jin that it would be a hang-up that would change. Jin would have no reason to know that, but the more contact he had with Jin, the more and more Aria changed. No, Ning Lo. I could also see Aria like I've never seen before. The change was brightly colored, and from what I know of Aria before I met Ginn, it was a dramatic change. Greg was sincerely pleased with the decision Aria had made.

"" I asked for it. ""

The word, which was uttered with a different accent, had confidence in Jin.

Even if we skip Aria, Jin is incredibly close to equal age for both of us. Sometimes when you think of unfamiliar young people, you feel like a skilled adult. But what we always have in common is a fondness for the character.

For Greg, for Gantz, Jin was a benefactor who changed Aria, and an irreplaceable young friend.

"Yes!"

Gin's voice, answering both of them, was filled with determination for the future, along with delight in their trust.

As the opposite is true, there is no way Jin would betray the trust of both of us.
