The Amber Sword

Chapter 128: Act 57 Weights

Brando sat on the chair, facing Viscount Tester, hesitating, but with a mirror in his heart. It seems that the return of all things will be suspicious of his relationship with the 'Red Copper Dragon' Reto people, who, although not sure how this guy recognises himself, at least have some news in their ears.

And it's way ahead of his expectations.

Brando knows that the main purpose of these very evil men is to subvert authority, that the state, the royal family or the government are their enemies, and that the purpose of their interest in the Rhetto travellers must be to see their influence among the refugees gathered in southern Prague.

He couldn't resist a smile on his lips, so he realized he had earned room. The weight in the hands of the Viscount from the Manowell area is his life, and the weight in his hands is the hearts and minds of the people who want to manipulate everything in the area.

That's not very easy to say. But with Brando's experience in "The Sword of Amber," it's natural not to show the price on your face like a rude rookie. He knew his advantage lay in mastering each other's bottom cards.

So he's not going to easily give that advantage away.

Thinking about it, Brando smiled and lowered his profile: "Well, you win —— or your sword wins. Lord Viscount from Manowell, Mr. Tester, but I haven't dealt with you, and since you think I'm related to Red Copper Dragon Leto, we might as well open the door - you want me to join you, but that's not all you should be doing -”

He said that, while privately, he made a gesture to his summoning creature: let them stand guard. It's a small tactic, and Brando knows that his actions are hidden from each other, but it doesn't matter - there's a spiritual connection between the brigadier and his summons - Brando was just trying to show them.

Gestures can send the right message or false cues.

Upon instructions from Brando, the two mercenaries standing behind the young aristocrats immediately gave the others an eye, removing the battle axe and approaching the door silently, left and right. These fighters, summoned from cards, represent a collection of the concept of 'mercenaries of Rubis’, and they embody all the strengths of these legendary mercenaries - unity, valor, loyalty and great tactical acumen.

Tester pressed his hand against the fine sword and his focus was mainly on Brando, but he didn't let anyone else go. When the mercenary moved slightly in his heart, he could not help but pick the eyebrows:

These mercenaries are as fierce as rumours suggest, and no wonder they can kill a bloody road from Madara's army.

Brando's misdirection came into effect immediately, and Tester couldn't help but fall into the trap of thinking. As a result, he confirmed that the young man in front of him was connected to the mercenaries - and most likely the man hidden behind the rumors.

His guess was correct.

But the problem happens to be just a speculation here, when he keeps deepening his trust in the assumptions he makes - but Brando doesn't actually say anything useful.

The conversation is based on the assumption that 'Brando is the leader of the Reto party'.

If Tester wakes up from this confidence, he finds that there's not a single word in Brando's words that can justify this hypothesis. It's just that Brando took advantage of the rumored confidence of Lord Viscount to win back a round in a previous fight without a trace.

Brando looked at each other nervously and feared that they would object - or simply stab him with a sword. In the end, however, he relieved himself greatly: it appears that at least some of the rumors in the 'Sword of Amber’ are credible.

This Lord Viscount is indeed a clever and self-absorbed man.

Tester doesn't have the ability to "manipulate the mind" right now, like Brando is opening a plug-in. He smiled backwards, showing a glimpse of praise in his glassy purple eyes. The willingness of the other party to recognize his identity became, in his eyes, a sign of good faith in the negotiations, and the return of all things would not mind the promise of Yuwo's terms - provided that they were absolutely faithful.

“You're right, so what do you think we should do?” The young nobleman lays down his sword and asks in his spare time.

Brando pinched a sweat in the dark and thought this guy was really tough. He grabbed the armrest of the chair and answered quietly, “I think the normal person is in this position, he thinks about the person hiding behind his back, what he wants to do. You know, tens of thousands of refugees gathered south of Prague, and nobles reacted so slowly, they were like a powder barrel, triggering. ”

“Well said,” said Tester. "What's your purpose? ”

What purpose do I have but to find a place to upgrade the base and become the leader of the Plantation Party? Brando turned a white eye in his heart and didn't know how to answer the question. He simply asked cunningly: “What purpose do you have? ”

“I'll do what I can when everything's back.” Viscount Tester smiled and replied politely. There are not many people who know that the ring snake ring where everything comes together is with the true charter of the organization, but there are not a few who have heard the name of the organization.

In fact, the return of all things, as a notorious name, has spread to the coastal areas of the abyss, and they have caused several tragedies in several places, each of which is called a change of colour. But rather than just being a demon incarnation in the civilian population, in the eyes of a nobleman, a member of the Return of Things might be conceived as a demon with a sulphurous smell on his body.

Because these things belong to the members of the congregation and are intolerable to any traditional authoritative organization, they represent almost the original evil.

Brando certainly knows that. However, he pretended to be a general and hit a haha: “So we're not all on the same page, but we can agree on this. ”

He replied incorrectly.

Tester turned around and looked at the other mercenaries, all of whom looked indifferent. He believed that his eyes, even the most subtle facial changes, could not escape his observation, meaning that the followers of the young man had no objection to his words - proof that Brando might not have lied at least in some way.

Of course, Tester knows that these are just Brando's summonses, and he's going to want to find a tofu to kill him. If there's tofu in the world.

But he thought about it, just didn't understand what Brando meant: "How? ”

Brando has a precious saying from his captain: 'The best way to deceive others is to make them listen to what they want to hear.’ It's not as deep as it sounds, but Brando thinks beautiful women lie. His sister-in-law is one of the two most beautiful women in Amber Sword.

He thought about these irrelevant things, but he also straightened out his mind: “Simply put, you're up against this country, so am I. But you're idealists, I'm ambitious, that's all.” He answered half true and half falsely.

The phrase "idealist-" gave Tester a good impression: "It seems we are not on our way, but I understand what you're saying. You don't want to join us, you want to pull us together, but you don't need allies for everything to come back.” He rubbed his thumb against the handle: “Aren't you afraid I'll kill you? ”

“You killed an old country without one of its many potential snoopers, unharmed. But I'm alive, and we have a potential stake, and you might be able to get help from me, of course, although it's not pro bono ——" Brando answered sitting in the chair.

“But you must know that the task of bringing everything back together is not to build a new kingdom on the ruins.” Viscount Tester said with a smile.

“Allow me to introduce myself, that is exactly what I do. When the old system collapses, the new system inevitably lives on its corrupt corpse, you know that's inevitable. ”

I have to say, if you're lying with your eyes open, you can't stop blushing. Brando's a genius.

“How dare you,” the young nobleman clapped his hands and clapped: “With all the power gathering around Eru, the local nobles were deliberately seeking more independence, but they must not have expected a young man to speak wildly at this moment. I ask you, what are you going to replace the Korkova ruling on this land for centuries? ”

Brando smiled confidently, only that smile could not hide his faulty heart. It was just that Tester had no idea that he was in front of him as a bluff, and that a preconceived mindset dominated his perception.

“‘The gamblers have never had the confidence to win', and when the reward is high enough, all that remains is the question of courage. You see, the risk factor has never been truly tested in the hands of the dead.” Brando's face does not change colour, answering with a proverb from a businessman.

If Roman was here, he would have truly agreed, but she didn't understand it systematically, like a curiosity-driven little animal, relying on instinct to discover danger.

“But isn't that what we're doing for nothing?” Tester wrapped his arms around him and leaned. "We" in his mouth refers to bringing everything back together. The main thrust of the comeback was to return to chaos, but Brando clearly told him that order was always circulating in constant destruction and self-improvement.

“Nothing good. What do you think I'm gonna do?” He asked.

“When a country falls into civil strife, civilization recedes, is that not your goal?” Brando used a word that no one would ever know about the return of all things.

Tester's slightly altered face was like a reflection of his heartstrings: “You seem to know us very well. ”

“I know all my potential friends and enemies.” Brando answered double-handedly.

He has seen sweat on his forehead and understands success and defeat in this move.

On the other side, for the first time, the Viscount from Manowell couldn't help but think, and his initial ascendancy was long gone. For the first time, he felt that this young man was probably not as simple as he thought.

He didn't believe Brando. But Brando's certainty caught his attention. His hands were pressed against the handle of the sword, and he was aware of most of the historical examples of the scourge of letting the tiger return to the mountain.

But what can this young man threaten him with?

“Actually, I have one more question. Have you ever been to Pine Castle?” Tester finally raised his head and the ghost asked the question poorly.

Brando's face changed, and now his biggest concern is that he killed the senior member who discovered that everything that died in Pine Castle had returned to the club. Although he has a natural advantage that he has only the strength of downstream black iron, it is generally difficult for others to doubt his head.

But the world was not absolute, and he didn't notice the ring at the beginning of his murder, so that all things would come back to him to perceive his breath.

Before he could finish his thoughts, he saw the cold flash in Tester's hand and the sword had stabbed him.

He found out? Brando had a chill in his heart, and he subconsciously activated his assault skills, but immediately pressed the urge to fight back. Because as soon as he got ten times faster, he saw Tester's sword ——

It was difficult for people to be as familiar with the sword as Brando was, but he recognized Tester as a probe at a glance.

Indeed, the cold, glittering sword pierced the back of the chair beside him.

Brando still couldn't resist a cold sweat.

“Swimming in black iron,” Tester muttered in an almost invisible voice, frowning: “It doesn't look like that scumbag opponent, but it's strange, so coincidental in time. ”

Only about two people in this room, Brando and Tester, understood what he was saying, and Brando didn't say a word, but his heart cursed at each other's perverts, at a time when he still suspected that he was deceiving.

Tester retracted his sword and took a deep look at the young man: "Just recently, how much trouble have you caused the nobles of Prague? ”

He asked.
