The Amber Sword

Chapter 450: Act 190 Final Moment (VI)

Faina suddenly pulled his sleeve, and Brando turned around, "Where do you want to go?” The nobleman asked orally, pointing to the street that the root of the vine in the center of the ruins covered in a cross section.

Brando nodded.

“You're crazy," Faina looked at him incredibly: “Wait, are you going to use that cape? ”

If that cloak works, Brando can't help thinking about it. But an Alzheimer's patient didn't even leave a spell to him, so the ghost knew how to use it.

He shook his head.

Faina looked at him inexplicably, but the young man had raised his hand to indicate that she was staying. Then he lay low and turned around and climbed out.

The motion landed in Fayna's eyes, and she watched Brando climb less than ten feet from the ruins, stopping, scared to open her mouth and dare not make a sound...

But Brando wasn't crazy, of course, and he knew exactly what happened when he was so lurking out. He's a bit of a sneaker on the dive, but he also understands that he's far less than some really high-end nightingales and rangers.

It's not necessarily a guarantee that one hundred percent will not be found in front of this creature, Andersha, especially in the woods, let alone him, if he's below the tenth level.

Brando was always self-aware, and he was just a forward observation. In the forest alone, one cannot see a conclusion from afar, he is not accustomed to wasting his time, so he has only chosen to take risks.

He lay down under the shrub and hesitated repeatedly, his eyes crossed the branches of Ousinam, staring at the dead and silent ruins not far away, and his head spinning rapidly through the idea of how to safely cross here.

But it's a little strange that Andrea's not a fool, and she's here, which means she's at least 10 percent sure she'll find him. Brando stared out there without a clue, and he couldn't resist some irrelevant thoughts.

He figured if it was still a game, there must be a way to do it in the game, right?

To think of it, Brando suddenly felt a glimmer of inspiration flashing through his mind, and he remembered a few things from the game of the past; he remembered vibrantly when the Sword of Amber had only begun to test it because it was so different from the traditional game.

Because in general games, most game design concepts are designed to test the player, but no matter how difficult the task is, it ultimately leaves the player with a path to complete.

In simple games, this path is a straight path. In difficult games, the road is full of thorns.

It's just a thorny road. It's always at least one road.

The Amber Sword uses a completely different design philosophy, and the game seeks to maximize authenticity. The designer once said something quite famous among the players:

There has never been a path in the forest that needs to be opened up with your courage and wisdom.

So there is no ‘inevitable task' in the Sword of Amber, just like the joke of the Emerald Peak - ‘the design team actually designed a drop list for the Green Dragon, which they could have omitted altogether’ - because the Green Dragon has been called the world leader who could never be killed since the beginning of the game.

(Note: Because of having the only superior 'eternal’ element of the entire Warnde world, the Emerald Dragon is defined as being present in countless parallel universes at the same time, and therefore not being able to be killed at any one point and at any one time alone - which is almost immortal, so calling it the Immortal in the Sword of Amber, that is, the BOSS that cannot be killed, so it makes no sense to be joked down by the player because it will never be used)

But that's the idea of the Amber Sword, and the designer gives it the possibility to be called real. Although the players initially called it hard, they eventually accepted the design idea.

‘If the Sword of Amber was not the only virtual reality game in the world at the time, I'm afraid it would have been abandoned by the players, who were always looking for gameplay rather than logic’ Brando couldn't help but think.

That's right, all of a sudden he seemed vaguely caught a thought.

If the game was originally intended to offer what might be termed a real possibility, it seemed like a struggle for the player, but in fact abandoned the ‘only or only a few paths’ of past games.

If there is no so-called 'strategy’, then open yourself a ‘strategy’, which is the spirit of the so-called Amber Sword.

Brando took a deep breath and finally figured out a way. If the task is not accomplished perfectly, then abandoning the caravan is not necessarily an option, turning his eyes to one side and then calming down and returning carefully to the original road.

But as soon as he walked out of the bush, he first saw Faina looking at herself pale as if he had done something heinous.

“I'll be with you for at least 10 years!” She stared at him.

“I'm afraid if you live for ten short years, you might die soon.” Brando looked at her and said so.

“What, what do you mean? ”

“See that rubble? We'll sneak behind it later, and I've just looked at it carefully. It's the most likely path, and the rest is basically a dead end. ”

Brando explained his judgment more clearly than he did, but Faina looked at it with his gesture and opened her mouth:

“It looks good over there, but the hillbilly didn't notice that there was no cover at all for the last paragraph, and it would definitely be discovered anyway!?” She couldn't help but raise her eyebrows and object: “I said," That woman is one of the twelve shepherds of the tree herder, don't treat her like a fool - she shows up here, which means she's sure to grab us! ”

“Of course I know, and I noticed.” Brando shook his head and replied, “But I know, she must also know, after previous experiences, she will not take us for fools, so instead she will not pay too much attention to that direction. ”

“I also understand the opposite,” Faina frowned: “But diving past the first half is useless, the second half is a flat square, she will find us even if she doesn't pay attention. ”

Brando didn't answer, and of course he knew there weren't so many perfect things to do. But at least find a way to solve half of it first, and the rest will have to die on its own.

It is impossible to take any chances at this time, not to mention that he did not have much time to delay. Although William helped, it is still a question of when the Druids outside will last.

So he shook his head.

“Hey!” Faina almost made a real noise. She grabbed Fania next to her: “Fania, talk to your brother, this lunatic wants to kill herself, I won't go with him! ”

Fania looked at them both and shook her head, meaning she wasn't going to object - Brando's decision was hers.

The nobility was silent at once.

“You stay.” Brando said he had no reason to take the nobleman's gold with him, especially since it looked like he was going to die.

But at this time, the princess from the leaf collar hesitated, and somehow she felt a little confused. Carefully, she should agree, but she looked at Brando and Fania and didn't come from the ground to start her temper.

“No, you have to take me with you!” She gambled airways with her eyebrows up.

Brando was a little confused and couldn't help but say, “I said, don't you think you're a drag? ”

“Who told you to forget to leave me at Lord Veronica's earlier, hillbilly, and you're responsible for bringing me here. Are you a nobleman if you want to leave me? ”

I was not a nobleman, Brando could hardly resist shouting. But he looked at Faina seriously, as if he had to follow her on his own as long as he didn't agree, he couldn't help but have a headache.

And he looked at Fania again, and he finally compromised —— one with a belt and two with a belt, anyway, didn't he? Besides, Brando couldn't help but think a little maliciously that he was coming to die, even if something happened to him.

So he sighed, barely agreeing with Faina.

The aristocratic young lady stared at her - a relief at this time, as if she had finally taken the upper hand for the first time in a long struggle.

“Shall we leave at once?” She asked.

Brando wanted to say it was me, not us, but it was just a nod at the moment. Besides, after convincing the young lady, it was time for him to start working on it.

But in fact, if he was alone, he would go through the rubble without any effort at all —— although the square behind him is still a big problem, of course.

But now with Fayna and Fania, the problem is much more complicated. Instead of letting Faina and Fania follow him, he held them back and forth twice.

It's funny to say, but the truth is that Brando, even with a person in his arms, is much more skilled at diving than Faina herself.

The first time he hugged Fania through the rubble, he walked out of the jungle cautiously from the thick side of the plant, and then drilled into a half-stone house under the cover of a broken wall - and, as he had previously judged, this direction was back to Andersa, and the woman didn't devote much attention here either, because in fact, all she had to do was stare at the square over there and be sure that Brando had the strength to be discovered.

After settling Fania, he turned around and picked up Faina. His moves were quick and he barely made a sound as he passed through the bushes, so his brilliant technique almost blinded the aristocratic lady from Cruz.

She was also very knowledgeable and well aware that such details could only be accomplished by the most intelligent scouts in the army, and that nobility in general would not actually learn these things, except for those with special identities.

Royal agents, for example.

Faina had dealt with her father's agents before, but their level compared to Brando's is like a flower stand.

But the nobleman Kim doesn't know, in fact, that Brando can't even see his own diving skills, and she can't imagine how horrible the diving skills of professional nightingales and ranger players in the game are.

Visual deception can even be done when the diving skill reaches level 10 or higher, which means you may not even notice him standing in front of you.

Reaching Grade 15 or above is even better than mastering the legendary hiding skills, playing disappear in front of people, which is almost magical to achieve.

But magic can disperse, but not dive.

Advanced nightingale eating skills are naturally not that simple.

But these are all off-topic words. Brando finally woke up when he copied Faina, and she almost screamed out, if not Brando's machine and police held her mouth shut.

Brando glanced hard at her and reminded the young lady to distinguish the occasion. Faina blushed, although it was not the first time Brando had carried her like this, but the last time she jumped down on a cliff with no bottom, she was frightened at all.

The second time was also to avoid the attack of the Saint's Dragon, which was basically equally frightening.

Only once was she conscious - but Fayna preferred not to be so sober, at least not so shy and restless, and her face seemed to burn.

By the time she recovered from a panic, Brando had placed her behind a half-cut wall.

So far Brando has moved Fania and Fayna to the last part of this ruin after several round-trips, in front of the square, and the rest, as we said before:

We're going to die!

He awakened the nobleman and asked, "Are you sure you don't want to stay? Could you die later?” Brando intends to try to frighten the young lady for the last time, but this time the answer is still no.

The woman also did not know what had gone wrong, as if she had bitten him, stared firmly at him and shook her head. It felt as if the Cruz had never abandoned the spirit of comradeship, making Brando feel weird for a moment.

“Forget it," he sighed, “I'm a benevolent man too. ”

Then he looked out and saw how he was going to get across the square. But this probe, his face changed, in fact, it wasn't just him, and Faina with him almost screamed out.

Because he saw a man in a red robe just across the square.

“Damn it, I knew it -” Brando couldn't bear the secret curse that he thought the other side would at least be a little negligent - even if it was supposed to be negligent.

But it didn't occur to me that Andersha was still dripping, and that partner was on the other side of the square, and they didn't even get a chance.

Brando went back, couldn't bear to bite his teeth, couldn't think of any way to do it for a while.

But at this point, Faina grabbed his hand and said, "It's a short distance. Why don't you try the cloak? Duration should be sufficient! ”

Brando was stunned, and this reminded me that Farina was supposed to be talking about William's cape.

He was a little depressed, he wanted to use it early, and if that cloak was as William said it could be hidden from the Dragon King, hiding the sea in front of Andersa would be a small dish.

Yet...

Not so much if.

He couldn't help but break Faina's hand and wondered if the young lady was too scared to scare the crap out of her head. She should have known why - or if William's Alzheimer's was contagious?

But Fiina grabbed his hand again, and she said, "Hey, do you really think that thing won't start? Have you forgotten what I do? ”

Brando said, “What do you do? ”

“Young nobleman? ”

“Die,” Faina glanced at him with her teeth: "Yankee, I'm a Demon Swordsman, and parsing spells is my old business! ”

“Huh?” Brando was really stuck this time: “Can you do that? That thing is at least a mythological wonder. It's very different from what we have now. If I recall correctly, this young lady doesn't even seem to have a full rank yet? ”

“That's because I'm a nobleman,” Her Royal Highness the Princess of the Leaf Territory said, "I can't go to the Adventurer's Guild for a job evaluation, and as a nobleman, I learn much more than most people do. ”

Brando was stunned and suddenly felt like it was really possible. And he stopped, and for the first time he asked, “Really? ”

“I don't know, try.” Faina doesn't dare to say too much, but when it comes to what she's capable of, she looks a lot more serious and doesn't set the shelves as if she can't move.

Brando nodded and handed over the cape wrapped in his hand. Faina took over the cape and touched it herself —— it was purely physical, because the cape was amazing, as William said.

But about a few minutes later, Fayna suddenly shouted with surprise - the sound was so small that Brando almost jumped, and he immediately turned around and looked at the ruins - good thing Andersa didn't even notice.

He glanced back immediately at Faina and, if not convinced that it was impossible, he almost suspected that the young lady was a standard inside man.

And this time, the nobleman seemed to realize her fault. For the first time, she revealed her embarrassing look and vomited her tongue at him, but she was still somewhat happy to say to Brando with her lips:

“hillbilly, I've learned this thing in law! ”

“Have you studied?” As soon as Brando was shocked, he rejoiced, and he could not have dreamed of such a coincidence. If Faina really learned this thing, finding its starting spell shouldn't be a difficult thing.

Martha on, he immediately felt lucky that he had not yet left him.
