The Amber Sword

Chapter 502: Act 238 BOSS?

Overfilled with spider webs and dust, the graveyard is located at the very end of this underground city, generally where the chief monster is located. Brando instinctively felt wrong as soon as he entered the tomb room, which was small and only dozens of steps long and square, a huge sarcophagus quietly parked on a stone platform that protruded from the ground in the center of the room, the architectural style of the tomb room was consistent with the outside graveyard, but the atmosphere in the tomb room was obviously depressing.

In light or light or darkness, the tiny space seemed to roam with an evil breath, the air condensed to the ice point and even the flame of the torch was pressed into the air.

This is the scent of a chief monster, but it's much stronger than Brando expected, and this should never have been the scent that BOSS should have had around level 30. But Brando looked around for a week and found no sign of BOSS. One can only guess that BOSS should be in the central sarcophagus, he pulls out the sword of the earth, flattens the sword and stops the others behind him to advise them not to move slightly. And he turned around and said, "Where are those cards? ”

“Over there, Lord.” The Wizard Apprentice immediately pointed to the other side of the sarcophagus, and Brando noticed a skull wreck lying in the shadows. He had not noticed this detail before because the tomb was full of these buried remains. When prompted to do so, he immediately noticed that the wreckage was unusual - that the martyrs buried in this tomb cellar should be slaves, mostly without noble clothing, and that most, if any, had carburized into dust over time. But the wreckage was wearing a fine robe with a cane at hand, and Brando recognized it as a wizard, and few people, except the wizard, would make a cane out of such precious materials as magic black wood.

The wreckage of the wizard is surrounded by a few shiny cards, which are destiny cards, for a total of five.

It's not surprising that a wizard carries a Fate Card, but it's not the first time Brando has discovered a Fate Card from an impostor's relic. Witches are a bunch of people who are curious and interested in exploring all the mysteries of the world, and they tend to keep strange little things that they don't even recognize, and not a small number of people die every year, at least Brando has heard of people cursed for collecting statues of evil gods. So the wizards collect some mysterious little cards, and it's not hard to understand.

“What spell can I use to bring it here?” Brando asked that he instinctively felt the graveyard was a little dangerous. There are many kinds of chief monsters, some are very tricky and know how to set traps. Although there are only some cave eaters out there, it's hard to guarantee that the owner of this cave will not be a high-ranking ghost of sudden death or anything. He doesn't want to enter the other party's main battlefield to fight each other.

The point is, this tomb gives him a very indescribable feeling. He experienced the ‘wolf scourge', which was that the beast in the face of the teeth grinding had not been so nervous when it came to his face like a tidal wave, and the danger in the air seemed to congeal up as a needle and stab him in the heart contracting. He went through hundreds of underground towns, was very sensitive to the crisis, and instinctively felt a little strange about this graveyard.

Though from the entrance outside, this should be a thirty level reinforced underground city, in theory the BOSS should be the chief monster upstream of gold. But it won't go wrong, and no one dares to say that 100% of them won't go wrong. Especially after going deep into the tomb, Brando discovered that the history of the tomb was incredible, and if it had existed before Eruin and the Silver Elves ruled, it would have lasted at least a thousand years.

Things like graves and underground cities, the longer history, the weirder the monsters inside. The Sword of Amber is very realistic on this point, and Brando had to be careful and he believed more in his judgment and experience.

The apprentices shook their heads together.

“We have tried, Lord,” replied courageously, "but the sarcophagus seemed to have some power to dispel our magic, and as soon as our magic approached the sarcophagus, it would disappear. ”

“Disappear?” Brando asks, "Is it disarmed? ”

“No, we're not with the feeling that our spell has been dismantled. Rather than being… disconnected.” An apprentice replied.

It should be mental ability to block mental power. Brando immediately concluded that psychic spells were best known for their spiritual energy, followed by sacred words and witchcraft. And in the sword of Amber, the ghosts are famous for using psychic powers to create illusions that distort people's minds and magnify fear hundreds of times —— when you feel their cold fingertips go through your chest, you've turned into solid ice —— not because of the cold, but because your heart has gone dark forever.

So the sarcophagus could be a ghost lord, so Brando thought about putting the white deer statue in the exit bag. Everyone saw a white deer appearing in the tomb with fluorescence, and the mercenaries who accompanied them were startled, but only relieved when they found it to be a summons from their lord. They only looked at Brando and somehow became more awed.

White deer are the Holy Spirit in the legend of Eruin, and those who are loved by white deer tend to be legendary heroes, a claim that has particular selling points among mountaineers in the South, as occasionally people witness white stags in the forest.

After the white deer appeared, he retreated slightly, disturbingly digging the ground with his hooves. It made Brando frown, the White Deer of the Holy Spirit was the star of all evil things, and the chief monster in the sarcophagus made him uncomfortable. Brando was alert immediately. All the details proved that his initial intuition had not gone wrong, and the tomb must have been strange.

He couldn't help but glance at Charles, who had already discovered something wrong when he dismantled the seal.

“Shall we go and fetch those things, Lord?” As the sorcerer apprentice looked at Brando's face, he asked with some vigilance.

Anyone can see that there may be something strange going on in this tomb room, and no one can say that going in there would be dangerous. * * Adventure in a catacombs is inherently an extremely dangerous thing, and horrible evil things and deadly curses have taken the lives of many adventurers. But Brando's reputation today is no different than that of Cold Cedar Collar, and most of the wizards and adventurers present would blindly trust him if he gave the order.

But Brando shook his head, even though he was now the Lord of the Lord, nominally or in the heart of His Royal Highness the Princess of the North, and if Antitina were here, she would have warned him very slightly that physical danger should not be the work of a good superior. But in essence, he is still the simple player and the simple young man from the Prague countryside. Whatever the excuse, sending someone to die in a trap is not necessarily possible even for a normal player with an intelligent NPC.

Not to mention the fact that this sarcophagus would not be here if it were so simple to take out the spoils. At present, it appears that only the BOSS in the sarcophagus is slaughtered, and I'm afraid they will have the chance to acquire the ‘treasure' here. This is the most basic setting of a game, and while Warnde is no longer a game today, it is still out of the Sword of Amber, at least until now Brando has not seen much deviation from the original world.

“Stand back, this is not a battle you can get involved in.” He turned around and pointed his sword at the others and gave the order. At the same time, he glanced at Charles, indicating that he was approaching from one person to the other. He decided to open the sarcophagus first and see what the monster was.

But this order stunned everyone in the room, who had not seen any danger before, first and foremost, their own lords. Most people, of course, find it odd that what Brando did was somewhat uncanny, or frankly, not like a lord or a nobleman, in the traditional view of the world. But no one has even spoken, or at least was silent, to understand the benevolence contained in this order.

Although everyone understands that in the struggle of nobility, only the hard-hearted will truly rise to the top. But in fact, no one is willing to follow a man who is cold and heartless to all around him.

The young magician, Le Lian, saw the scene and couldn't help but breathe slightly. He was born from a noble family, and his father was, in his impression, a small nobleman who had been busy drilling and dating all day, and he had also met the great nobles of the city capitals who were deeply and meticulously laughing, and Brando, whom he knew, was totally at odds with all the noble images he had seen.

In fact, the mercenaries around him, even the wizards, had no doubt that Brando was a true nobleman —— yes, because the adult was knowledgeable and knew almost everything. Only a nobleman can have such a source of homeschooling. But this was not the case in the eyes of Le Lian, who, with his care and acumen, had no difficulty in finding out from his lordship those aspects that did not belong to the nobility, so he had once doubted that Brando was not a nobleman - a suspicion that, of course, did not explain Brando's insight and self-confidence, nor did it shake his loyalty to the lord, but that often confused him.

Until now, however, he was certain.

Ever since Brando turned around and pointed his sword at them and gave them the order, he suddenly discovered from the sword a flash point belonging to a true nobleman. That is not the temperament of the nobles of the present day, that is the style of the ancient nobles. The swords of kings and nobles walk before their children forever, with their flags raised and their forefathers minced from the darkness, out of a path to order and light.

In the darkness is the blood of the nobles.

That was the path of the ancient saints.

Le Lian looked behind Brando and Charles and couldn't help but subconsciously step forward. By this time, however, Brando and Charles had pressed their hands against the sarcophagus. It was at this time that the temperatures in the tomb suddenly dropped, and everyone felt a layer of white frost growing on the four walls of the tomb at visible speeds, with a thick layer of snow between the eyes.

But for a moment, everyone in the room started shaking their teeth.

“Goddamn it, what the hell is this! ”

Brando screamed, suddenly smashing the tall image that Le Lian had just built, the nobleman's wind suddenly dissipated, and became the Lord of the Big Shock - of course, Le Lian didn't know that image was called Player, and he would never know.
