The Amber Sword

Chapter 677: Act XXIV Heaven VI

Brando swore that if he had known how it felt to be buried beneath the mud sand, he would have preferred to surrender rather than run.

At first, he felt his body fall fast in the darkness, countless objects rolling down from him with a whistle and only a faint light in the direction of the top of his head - a direction that should be the basement hall that is falling apart.

About a second or two later, he felt a severe impact.

Normal people were supposedly crushed at the time by such an impact, but for the physical force of the Golden Peak, Brando felt nothing more than crashing into a sloping slope and rolling down a sharp rock. He tried to grab something, but in the dark it was futile, and a lot of mud sand wrapped around him rolled down until he hit a flat rock.

Brando felt the first impact, and then the second hit was a soft body hitting him. He immediately realized that it was Sy, with a bigger amount of rock and mud rolling over her head, and Brando hurried to pull the girl down, then turned over and blocked her body.

It was only about a moment before a loud bang struck him with massive rocks. Of course, it's not much for Brando. It feels like a few sticks. It's just a lot of mud and sand that makes him miserable.

He just coughed and his mouth was full of sand.

But this is not the most tragic experience, and the key is that when he lowered his head and subconsciously intended to spit out the sand in his mouth, he put a pair of bright crystal eyes on it. Those are some quiet, curious and shy eyes, obviously belonging to a mountain girl who likes to keep a long ponytail - Sy, protected by Brando, looks at her lord so submissively.

For both Brando and Sy, vision is not difficult in the darkness, and it is obvious that both can see each other's condition clearly.

Luckily, however, this does not seem to be the first time this has happened to both of them, having experienced almost the same situation the last time they were hunted down by fog in the ring of the wind. After one experience, the second time at least it didn't look so embarrassing.

“Lord,” Si whispered, winking her eyes: “Thank you. ”

“Whoo.” Brando's mouth is full of sand, with bitter words. He could barely put sand on Syd's face, couldn't he? And it's still rumbling outside, and obviously the collapse won't be over for a moment and a half.

But Brando didn't answer, and the Mountain Girl looked closely at him. After a while, Brando suddenly felt Sy move, then gently resting his forehead against his chest.

This seemingly unintentional move gave Brando a slight pause, and he subconsciously lowered his head and saw Sy curling in his arms like a child.

“Ooh... Shh? ”

“I'm sorry...” Sy seemed woken up by his voice, frightened and hurried to let go. Brando watched her shrink carefully backwards and couldn't help but feel a little impatient: “It doesn't matter... are you scared? ”

Sy frowned and shook her head gently.

Brando was a little silent, and to be honest, he couldn't see what the girl was thinking. In fact, Macaro came to see her several times since the Battle of Ambessel, but she refused to do so. Sy was also silent on weekdays, only occasionally accompanying Roman - but according to the rest of the Grey Wolf Mercenary Corps, she wasn't supposed to be like this before.

He thought about it and thought that he was really not fit to speculate on a girl's mind. After all, the last life was a super loser in this regard. Shaking his head, he decided to change the subject: “Sy, how did you break through the elements of Ovina before? ”

“Hmm?” the Mountain Girl looked up curiously at him.

“Don't you know?” Brando was stunned, and of course he saw that Sy's divine colour had no fake marks.

Sy shook her head bewildered.

“Weird...” Brando was more confused than Cee, and he knew the power of Ovina's destiny. Ovina's destiny is very similar to that of a spiritual being, but it's much more powerful than that, and if you can't break through your own destiny, you can never defeat her, not even just attack her.

But the problem is that, as a presence in the golden realm, it is obviously an impossible task to escape the legendary elements of a hero who has mastered the power of existence.

Don't say he or Sy, I'm afraid not even Master Silver Storm William can do it.

Is it the dragon blood? Nevertheless, I have never heard of the Golden Nation's bloodline, so it can be challenged even more. I can only say that talent is better.

Brando frowned and couldn't find a clue, but it was at this moment that he suddenly felt something, raised his head, and found that the movement of the rock rolling had definitely diminished. This is undoubtedly the best news for him at the moment. He hurried to throw away the messy thoughts in his brain, reached out and easily lifted the rocks on him, pushing them again, and the gravel rolled down into the dark with the mud sand.

Brando climbed out of the rubble, then rescued Sy from it. The two of them came to a flattened rock, looking up, and found that a huge void had formed beneath the collapsed hall, and they were in the middle of this void, with no artificial trace of anyone before their head.

Brando looked around, and theoretically, when the floor collapsed in the lobby, in addition to him and Syd, William and Ovina should also be trapped in the mud sand, and there shouldn't be too much danger of others being trapped on the walls by lightning cells. But Brando wanted to find William and Owena in the dark, and no one could see him.

“Strange.” He was slight, and according to Owena and William's strength, he should have been able to escape before him. The previous collapse seemed dangerous, but it should have been completely inconvenient for their hierarchy to exist.

“Lord, look over there!” Cee has stood by him without a word since Brando dragged her out of the gravel, but as half a dragon, her vision is clearly much better than Brando's.

Brando just looked in the direction she said, and it took a while to see a light point flying out of the darkness. But it wasn't until the light was closer that he realized it wasn't a light point at all, but William, who was flying in the middle of the sky with a luminous staff.

And a little bit closer, Brando suddenly saw that the old magician had a man in his hand —— from the white gold body of the lightning, who wasn't Ovina?

William's flying speeds were so fast that he came close to Brando. He fell down, and the robe flew away, then landed steadily in front of Brando. Reach down and throw Ovina in front of Brando.

“She's in a coma?” Brando stared at Ovina with his eyes shut, how can you not believe that this is the Lord of the Spirit who could not have lived forever? Normally, as long as he perfected his body, even if he fell from a few thousand feet high, he would not pass out in a coma, which would be too discounted.

“You're right, little one, her strength faded sharply after she left the hall," the old magician replied, “When I found her, she was only silver at best. And she's losing her magic, and it's predictable that if it continues, she won't even be able to sustain herself. ”

“So that's it.” Brando slightly flashed, but he was having trouble again, and he couldn't help but look at the lightning girl on the ground and say, "So what's the situation? Whether we win or lose, this guy doesn't want to do it, does he? ”

“Cough... what do you take me for!” Brando's voice had just fallen, and I didn't expect Ovina, who was unconscious on the ground, to wake up suddenly. Though she still looked a little weak, she glanced at Brando without a trace of anger: “Although I hate speculative coincidences the most, winning is winning, and I will never deny it! ”

The girl gasped and her face became much more red. Brando and William on one side frowned slightly, as they noticed that Ovina's power smelled stronger at the same time.

“Can your power still return?” Brando couldn't help but say, “Wasn't that the hall ruined? Wait, you...”

He squeezed his eyes as if he realized something.

But the silver magician leader apparently reacted one step ahead of him, showing a sudden look on his face.

“Well, you're a little smart.” Ovina replied in a bad way, "I'm not as strong as you think I am in that hall. But the closer you get to the Holy Gun, the closer the power of the dome gets to the peak, and I'm sure you've guessed that I'm not some kind of Tian Qing knight —— I'm the dome. ”

“Ha...” Brando seems to have been punched in the face: “So you did all this yourself? ”

“Not all of it, of course, as an artifact, I have reason to choose my owner.” Ovina lifted her chin and replied proudly.

“Well, it doesn't matter to us anyway," Brando shrugged, not the first time he saw magical equipment with a soul. Isn't the wind back ring on his hand sealed the wartime spirit of the saints, not to mention many famous magic equipment in the sword of Amber has similar mechanisms, but the sealed spirit alone is powerful to this extent, which is the first time he has seen it.

But the more so, the more proof of the value of the dome. And he thought about it, and he said, “Anyway, you admit we won before, right? Now you can choose who you want to own, right? ”

“Yes -” Ovina replied, biting her teeth, “but until then, I had a question. ”

“Hmm?”

“I want to know how she can break through the power of my elements!” The lightning girl looked at Side Cee again and once again revealed an incredible divine color on her face. Like Brando, she couldn't figure out why the existence of a golden class could occasionally ignore the influence of her destiny element.

Brando glanced at Sy and thought, "Maybe because of Dragon blood? ”

“Impossible!” Ovina nailed down the iron and vetoed: "It's just a golden people of the district. When did their blood have this power? Unless there's been another genetic mutation in 10,000 years, but the odds are too small. ”

“A genetic mutation?” Brando chewed the word word word for word. Is there any other setting in Amber Sword?

But the lightning girl just snorted cold and didn't answer him.

The darkness seemed silent again until William the Archmage thought about it and said, “Perhaps I know why? ”

“Hmm?” Everyone looked at him.

“In our history, there are things that can change fate and break free from its constraints.” The old magician replied slowly: “Brando, you know that little girl from Aloz. ”

“Ah!” Brando suddenly shouted, a sudden and enlightened god: “I see! ”
