The Annals of the Flame Kingdom (WN)

Lesson 55: Kota Matsudai I

Kota Matsudai is the eldest son of the Matsudai family born between his father, Yukio Matsudai, who works for a medium-sized trading company, and his mother, Kasei Matsudai, who was a full-time housewife.

After graduating from high school, Matsuyo Masterpiece continues straight to the local national university. High school, college and much better local living came out of Tokyo for the first time after joining a trading company. Originally, rather than being bad at cleaning, laundry and cooking…, the life of a single-handedly non-conforming masterpiece, which dislikes housework in general, went a long way to ruin. All meals are out eating or convenience store lunches, which are also irregular if you don't eat or eat. All the clothes are cleaned and the room is loaded with dust.

It was June, one year after joining the company, that my boss, who seemed to see me, offered me a masterpiece. In response to the lazy masterpiece, his boss will appoint "Matsuyoshi Masterpiece" to a new employee who has just come in this year. It was Kamikaze, the mother of Hota, who was chosen to play the role of that pathetic lamb, who is also a severe abuser of authority.

'Senior! What is it, this pile of laundry! Huh? Put it all out for cleaning? What are you talking about, seniors? Machine wash! I'll go buy a washing machine!

"Senior! Why doesn't this house even have a cooker! Huh? Does cooking meals at home smell like trouble? Think of a little nutritional balance too! No more! I eat vegetables without all the meat!

"Ki, yah! Let it go, seniors! Here! It's a cockroach graveyard! What proper cleaning would make this catastrophic! Already! Senior idiot!

I didn't like it at first, but in a less socially incompatible way of the masterpiece, Kasei switches her mind.

- This guy says he can't do it without me.

Every week, every time I went through my wife greeted her on holiday, she entered the excellent room, sometimes laundry, sometimes cleaning, sometimes cooking, and Kasei devotedly baked her care. As for the strong incense of maternal instinct that I liked to "take care of a bad man," I also have reason to say that the masterpiece, which is tender to take care of, is nevertheless well proportioned in terms of work and gives a gentle soft smile, was "the ideal man" in many ways. Making it a masterpiece makes me come to my room every week and bake my care for it for what it's worth... and even if I'm not a beauty at all, I'm a pretty looking junior. It didn't take long for each other to be attracted, and if this didn't develop into a romantic relationship, that would be the lie.

'Seniors! If seniors were alone like this, maybe, they'd die!

'Look, please sign this paper! Did you write it? Yes, then, Hanko, push here!

'... let me write myself. What is it, but let's see the paperwork properly! This is the marriage certificate! "Huh? Really?... here we are! Already, Senior!

With all the twists and turns, they're still married. At the same time as his marriage, Kasei left the office, so much less, that Kasei gave birth to Kota. Taking the affection of her parents wholeheartedly, Kota grows up softly.

... Now is the time to call yourself "mediocre," but even such a Kota has not been so since he was "really young". In a park with many children before the inauguration, Kota, whose age was at the top of the park, naturally became like the leader of all.

"Here's the thing!

"Here she comes!

"Here, let's have a little fun today!

'No, you can't! This is what you said today, you're gonna be deceiving with us!

When Kota visits the park, the children who were playing in pieces over there gather at Kota's. Everyone who had a ring centered on Haota and was falling apart centered on Haota starts playing one. Admiral Kiddo, although it may be slightly different, there is no doubt that Kota was the boss of that small community.

- It was fun.

Small, small park. But its park is Kota's "world" itself, and its world, which moves according to its own will, gently envelops Kota like warm water.

I can do anything.

I can do anything.

With Kota's words, the world changes color in every way. The world is on Kota's side, the world is kind to Kota, the world is drowning Kota -

The world was for Hota.

Eventually, Hota enters the neighborhood kindergarten. In the first October, there was an athletic meeting in the park. Sometimes called Sunday, Kota ended up fifth out of six in a walking race where all his parents rushed to support him.

- Shocked, it was.

Kota's first setback, which toppled a narrow community, said a neighborhood park. For the first time, he was desperate for the 'world', which did not move as he wished, and Kota cried. I cried tiredly and kept crying until I fell asleep.

The next morning, Kota woke up and thought of one in the futon. Until the day before the Games, Kota was certainly loved by the world. Would a world like that suddenly hate Hota?

- The answer is no.

It just so happens that the world was pointing that way. Were you in a bad mood, unlucky, or simply taking a look at it? There's no way the world hates Kota, neither on the rabbit nor on the corner.

Then Haota woke up every morning at 6: 00 and ran until she went to kindergarten. You don't have to do anything, it's the world you loved. Because the harder I tried, the more I thought the world would love Kota. At first it went back and forth every morning to the nearby park, to the riverbed when I got used to it, and to the kindergarten a kilometre away at the end. My father, the masterpiece, laughed bitterly at such a son's "Loser Hate," but still went out with Kota every morning in discipline. Sometimes my younger son was worried about running alone to kindergarten, a kilometer away, but sometimes the effort was shown favorably.

I ran down a snowy road.

I ran a beautiful blossoming cherry tree line.

I ran down a cicada ringing trail.

When the completely red leaves dye the leaves to a sea color, Kota has a chance to get revenge. It was the second year I was in the park, and the sports season came around. Hear my father's words from right to left: 'Go without so much force on your shoulders, without nervousness', stand on the starting line drawn by lime, suppressing the noisy heart that seems to burst.

- The result was, second place.

Kota cried. It's like sneaking a tear in the middle of the night. I cried woefully at the athletic venue, not the way I cried last year. Kota, whose kindergarten teacher kept crying so worryingly, was gently held up by her masterpiece and even took Oki, who stood in kindergarten to avoid the eyes.

"What's up, Hota?

"Hiku... I lost... second place, it was..."

"Isn't that amazing, Kota? You were fifth last year, weren't you? That's what got me second in a year."

"I don't like it! I was the best! 'Cause I did my best! I woke up early every morning and ran all the time! And yet...... I tried so hard!

"... oh yeah. Your father knows how hard Kota works."

"Become the best, you're gonna be late every day! I was telling you the other day I was watching TV late at night! He said it was about eight o'clock to wake up! Why! Hey, Dad, I did my best! I tried so hard! Why didn't you come first!

He smiles bitterly as he gently strokes the head of his father, who cries with woe.

"Right. Kota has made a lot of efforts. Your father knows that too..."

That's where the masterpiece says it. At the time, the masterpiece was still old enough to reach or not reach thirty. I'm new to parenting myself, and I can't even remember what way my parents treated me when I was a kid. Lost quotes and masterpieces end up choosing to speak in their own language.

"You know, Hota. Sometimes it doesn't matter if you try, if you try, it doesn't matter, okay?

"Higu... how dare you... not?

"Exercise, to a certain extent, is determined by 'birth'. I know Kota worked really hard, and I think it's amazing."

- I don't have a choice.

"Bye! You're saying it didn't make sense that I worked so hard?

I'm not saying it didn't make sense.

"Because you are! Even I wanted to wake up late and watch TV! I wanted to sleep in the futon slowly, not wake up early every morning! Still, I did my best!

He stroked Kota's head leaking a voice close to screaming as he slapped Dong on his masterpiece's chest, kneeling in and gazing at Kota.

"You know, Kota?

"Hiku... what...?

"Effort betrays you, but that's not a good reason for you to betray your efforts, is it?

"Hiku... Hiku..."

"You don't have to do what you want, do you? Kota worked hard this time. Your father knows that well. So Kota, don't cry?

"Hiku...... wowwwwwww!

"Oh, all right, all right"

Just like a year ago, Kota cried until she was tired of crying and slept, and the masterpiece continued to gently stroke her back.

◇◆◇◆◇◆

After completing kindergarten, Kota went to elementary school. When the fastest legged kid in the park when he was in kindergarten saw that he sank to number three at the base of elementary school, Hota truly understood his father's words and understood his place.

- That is, I am an 'ordinary person'.

The world isn't nice to Hota, the world doesn't love Hota, let alone treat only Hota special. Everywhere I go, I am one of the "other large" people, and in the end, I take to this "world" the fact that I am "not a man of great value".

If you think about it, it's a natural story. My father, who works for a medium-sized trading company, and my mother, who is a full-time housewife. There is no way that I, the child born in the meantime, am a great person. The frog child is said to be a frog, because it is rare, 'Tombi gives birth to an eagle', and Kota could not think of himself as an eagle. Hota accurately understood what anyone would realize if they were a long time old, and chose to live as a normal person without being stubborn or discouraged by the fact that he was a normal person. What happens if I fail to even try? If you want to live at all, the only choice left for Kota is' hard work '. It's not that Hota liked hard work, it's just that he chose hard work because he didn't have anything else to choose from.

Kota, who decided not to betray his efforts, desperately encouraged him to study. Exercise, painting, music, etc. become very important for the talents and environments in which they are born. Reason goes hand in hand with the Japanese not being able to win short walks over blacks with natural springs.

- But how about 'study'?

Tokyo Stock Exchange, Within a corporation, it is a market in which shares in a company called a 'listed company' are traded, and many of its' partially listed 'companies represent Japan. Kota thought that if we put some of the listed companies in, we should at least be able to live a life with no shame on anyone.

"Father!"

"Hmm? What's up, Kota?"

"I want to be a salarier for some listed companies in the future!

"............ what?

"I want to live a life where I don't have to worry about money, partly by becoming a corporate salarier!

"... Hota, are you worried about our family's income? Oh, is that it? Did you hear what your mother said the other day, 'It's a recession, so the bonus's down'? It's gonna be okay, okay? Kota's life without eating..."

"I'm not! You know, I can't be a professional baseball player, a soccer player, a singer or a cartoonist, but if you're studying, I feel like I can do it, too! You know, doctors and lawyers are a little hard... but, you know, if you're a 'partly publicly traded company', I think you're going to get in!

Kota, it's a conversation with my father in fourth grade. Approximately, although it was not the words that the fourth grade students would say, and although the masterpiece was also faceted at the beginning, I gently stroked Kota's head thinking it was the same.

"... right. People who follow different paths from people are good, but it's hard to live differently from people. If Hota joins some of the listed companies, Hota's life will be... at least, financially easier."

According to my father who works for a trading company, some listed companies can never live a comfortable life, and I was well aware that life can be difficult enough in that life, but I still respected my son's will.

"Yeah! I'll do my best! Good luck...... hard work, study! If I betray my efforts, I will not betray them!

Kota continued to defend the conversation she had with her father in fourth grade, with silly honesty. Maybe they'll say, 'I've closed my own possibilities,' but they're still pulling corners, rails. Then you can run on that pulled rail. "Talent" is such an uncertain thing that you don't go down Tsu's path from dropping out that rail on purpose. I was more scared of the fear of cutting myself through Tsutsu's path than of taking it to Kota and betraying him in his efforts.

Also worth the effort, Kota enters and graduates from a prestigious university there and joins Sumitomo Bank. Kota was satisfied that he had successfully joined "some publicly traded companies", which was his dream in fourth grade, and in a sense would be the result of saying "I dreamed of it".

◇◆◇◆◇◆

Haota, who entered Sumitomo Bank, was ordered to be assigned to the Marunouchi branch as his first store. It is one of the most prestigious Sumitomo banks with approximately eight hundred domestic and international stores, and "Marunouchi Branch Experience" is one status. Looking at his own life, it was highly regarded until it was roughly excessive, but Kota didn't move at all. There's no way that I can be treated 'specially' by Sumitomo Bank under heaven without a lot of talent.

"Starting today, I will be taking care of you at the Marunouchi branch, Ayano Ogawa. Thank you very much."

If there are two synchronizations in the same store in a bank, generally one is an executive candidate and one is Omiso. Haota herself obviously understood which one was Omiso if he had the synchronization of a foreign affairs bureaucrat with the East University graduate, a returning child who manipulated four languages.

"Matsuyo"

"Yes!"

The section chief called Kota, who had been assigned to the Diplomatic Division, to his seat. I also thought it would be frustrating to say things from the beginning, but someday I will know. Then it would be shallower if I knew it at first. Having so decided, the section chief opened his mouth as it seemed difficult to say.

"... it might be a little harsh to tell you that I just got in. Banking expects more from Ogawa than you do. But don't tell him that, okay? Don't tell me it's a bad environment, okay? All right? Tell them you're a new joiner, you get paid to work, so to speak, a professional banker. If you are a professional, give the best results in the given environment."

Kota laughs bitterly in her chest at the clumsy care of such a section chief. Even if the section chief doesn't tell me that, I understand it best. I also liked the phrase 'In a given environment, give the best results'. The point is, try not to complain. Kota nods honestly to that phrase similar to Kota's previous way of life.

"Yes! I'll work hard! If I betray my efforts, I will not betray them!

"Good reply! Matsuyo, I'll pay you back for the bank! Encourage your work with as much as you feel!

"Yes! I'll do my best!

"Okay, that's my first job then!

"Yes!"

"... stop that one-person name, 'I'. If you're a sociopath, say 'I'."

"... Yes"

Kota, who was assigned to the Diplomatic Division, was pissed off every day. Nevertheless, Kota encourages business every day without turning a blind eye. Stay late to load reports to headquarters written by seniors, and take home and study the set of provisions every day. Certainly, that 'stupidity', which can be described as talent, was shown favorably to the famous Diplomatic Chief for being harsh on himself as well as on others. Therefore, the Chief looked to Kota and received even more harsh guidance.

"Matsuyo!"

"Yes!"

"Cooperative Electric Industry's letter of approval, when are you coming around!

"I will definitely turn it around by the end of the day!

"How long have you been holding on to that project?"

A written resolution is a document that is turned over to obtain a headquarters ruling on a case that has crossed a branch ruling. Projects that cross the branch's ruling framework often have some 'difficult' issues. Large amounts, broken collateral, or purely poor company business conditions. If a case previously made of a branch ruling has been handled as a headquarters ruling due to the aforementioned circumstances, that is, a "written resolution", it is very difficult to get the written decision approved by the headquarters rather than…. Even if the sales store fully understands the company, from headquarters, it doesn't know anything about the ocean or the mountains. From the basic information of the company and management, such as what they are doing, what is the history of the company, where are the main sellers and suppliers, whether they have a good reputation in the public, what is the personality of the president, etc., they write slightly and in detail about individual projects such as what the funds are used for, whether the interest rate is a fair interest rate, whether collateral can be taken, and if not, why. It's not just that you have to write long. Even the main points to be contained must be explained 'plainly' using diagrams and graphs.

"It's a project that's not very difficult! It's okay with the sutra, with the sutra!

After this is the second time, if it is a project that occurs constantly, the difficulty will decrease steadily. As long as there is no excessive variation such as the development of a new product or the replacement of the president, you can simply recreate the reason for the need for funds and the business situation in a new way, and later you can make a full copy. It's like photographing a scripture, so call it "transcript," because it means "look at the scriptures written by seniors, and grab the gist of what matters," or this "transcript" will be one of the big jobs in my rookie years.

"Do you have a guy who spends three or four days on his scriptures! Enough! I'll do it instead!

"So, but..."

"I'm telling you! In the meantime, go on the roof and chill your head!

The chief yelled at me and said to Kota, still not trying to give me the job: 'Fine, go quickly!' He yells again, and Kota drops his shoulder and raises the stairs to the roof. Because of the barometric pressure, wind poured into the store from the rooftop that opened the door.

"… ha-ha"

Put your hands together on the handrail, and Kota exhales heavily. After entering the country for three months, he kept getting angry every day. It is also within the scope of the assumption that this will happen to me, which is not otherwise "special"... but also a little sentimental to the boulder.

"... Yes, Matsuyo-san"

Such a chilling sensation on Kota's cheek. When I turned my gaze to you in a hurry, I saw Ayano smiling.

"Mr. Okawa... What, can of coffee?

"That's my luxury. Thanks for the drink."

"The... thank you?

Why is Ayano here? Kota comes to mind with the question mark. Showing such a bitter smile at Kota, Ayano opened his mouth.

"The bear under your eyes, it's terrible, isn't it? Even banks are in the service industry. You can't go around with a customer like that, can you?

She looks under her own eyes with her index fingers on both hands, and Ayano takes her hand mirror out of her porch and gives it to Kota in front of her mirror. Kota glanced at his' terrible 'face in the mirror.

"... you ruined your manhood"

"... Wow. It's not funny, is it?

"... Mr. Okawa is pretty tight, isn't he? Is that what you normally say, even if you think so?

Ayano accidentally bites his bitter smile at Kota, who exhales and drops his shoulder to show. Kota's face had become even more pitiful for Ayano's appearance.

"... you know..."

"Yeah?"

"Matsuyo-san, aren't you trying a little too hard? You worked overtime till 10: 00 yesterday, didn't you?

"Oh... well, you know. No, you know what I mean? You shouldn't waste your labor even though they say this is all about cutting expenses, cutting expenses."

"Not really."

Slightly blocked Kota's words.

"... you know what? Kobayashi."

"... I hear you quit. During that time, Nakano called."

"He was the Otomori branch, wasn't he? Looks like the collection operation was pretty hard... I miss the synchronization. Let's not pack too many roots, shall we?

"Well, yeah... you see, me, because I'm not in the right place"

"Bad procedure..."

"It doesn't have much capacity."

"So he said it wasn't funny."

"I'm sorry. But... I'm really the type to remember from scratch."

"That's why I take home the policy set every day? Besides, you're reading it all, aren't you?

"For once. Well, I've been reading most of it."

"By the way, what did you take home yesterday?

"Exchange Provisions Collection"

"... it doesn't make sense? 'Cause Matsuyo-san, it's diplomacy, right?

With a smile on his face, he smiled bitterly at Ayano, "It doesn't make sense," and tried to open his mouth.

"I might not be able to say this... but I've never even read about the exchange clerk, you know?"

Close that mouth.

- Oh, I see.

Such a talented woman with a returning child, East University graduate, and father of a diplomat who manipulates four languages. Such a woman who has lived through the time when Kota was loved by the world until this year as it were.

"It's rather amazing, isn't it? On the contrary, I admire you."

"Really? If you work for a month or so, you'll naturally remember."

"... too awesome to be helpful, Mr. Okawa"

Earliest, I can only smile bitterly. I can't have jealous feelings about the difference in my specs, and the emotions that come up are like, "Mr. Okawa, that's amazing." I can't even hold my admiration.

"And yabe! It's time to go back! Thanks for the coffee, Mr. Okawa!

"Empty can! If I take that, they'll piss me off again! Here!"

"Thankyou! See you, Mr. Okawa!

"Ah, Matsuyo-san! What I said--"

"Okay! Watch out for" Matsuyo! I'm coming! So long, Mr. Okawa!

Thanking Ayano, Kota ran down the stairs.

◇◆◇◆◇◆

I noticed a difference in specs with Ayano Okawa, but there was nothing to frustrate him. In the first place, I don't need to feel itchy about myself, which is only "one of many others". In a given environment, achieve the best results. Supporting Haota was just one thing, and I went around the company vigorously to get the "best results" to the person in charge, who was the given environment.

We also had a fight.

I also made up my mind.

Still, Kota made desperate efforts for the company. I don't know what that company specializes in, for example, if it's a Japanese confectionery shop, or if it's a construction company, it's a construction method, or anything like that. I'm just a 'banker'. Bankers have to be 'money lending' professionals, and for a smooth supply of funds... I don't know how to put it, but they have to be 'easy to lend money to'. Then we need to improve our finances to do so.

"... at first, 'What is this guy? I thought so."

"Yes?"

An office of a construction company called East-West Construction Industry. That's what 'the president', who had the stature of a bear, told him, and Hota stopped the hand he was punching in the calculator.

"What do you say, boss, but I'm either a technologist, right? I don't know much about numbers. Even Kakaa says he's the accounting manager, but he's accounting for it to the point where he keeps his household books. If Matsuyo hadn't been here, our company might have been crushed."

"... the president's company has a special method of construction, right? You don't have a hand in not utilizing that, do you?

"Whoa! I'm so confident in technology!

"Please don't sell that confident technology cheaply. Mr. President, this method is rare globally, isn't it? Strength meets prescribed values, and prices are low."

"But they'll all be happy, won't they?

"I'd be happy to, if I could do it at this price. But because of that, the president's company always says Peppy, doesn't it? I know you can't if a banker says something like this, but you can't pay the bank an interest rate and borrow money, right?

"Chiney. But don't let the bankers tell you that."

"Yes. So please don't tell your boss, okay?

"Whoa, shut up! And I said to my boss," Oh, no! 'Cause I don't care if you change your mind. "

"… President"

"I know." Bankers relocate a lot, so the person in charge changes immediately. It's important to create an institution where the president and his wife do their own finances', isn't it? I got an octopus in my ear!

That's what he said. The president laughed, and then said, 'But what?' I went on to say.

"If you can, I want you to be in charge of our company for a long time."

In vaguely replying to those words - still, Hota was happy.

The company needs Hota.

The company craves Hota.

"I am only one of many others," said Haota, who thought so and needed "no one, myself," I was so glad that I couldn't say in words.

Six months after enrollment. Haota, who is finally used to the Diplomatic Division, will be reassigned to the Exchange Division. The successor is Ayano, and whenever he turns around with a succession, he says, 'Are you sure you want to replace him?' I was told by each business partner. "Whatever, I'll tell the Branch Manager not to change his responsibilities! 'You could also say.

"... what were you doing, Matsuyo-san? It's really hard to do."

"No, it's nothing serious, is it? Look, 'Good! He's finally gonna change his mind!' Oh, my God, you don't normally say it with a takeover. Flattery, flattery."

With that said, Hota's cheeks loosen. There is no doubt that what I have done has sprouted and taken root. Where I turned, when I couldn't be in charge other than myself, I sprouted such pride that I could even say that I was not like Kouta, but thoughtful.

"Hota!

When I was assigned to the Exchange Division, about four months later. "Ayano soon learned to work... Matsuyo-san, your hands are slow! 'And the story of the past even when I was angry with my exchange aunts laughing, I finally began to remember my work, and I saw a good lady waving her hands at the desk.

"Is that it, ma'am?

Kota smiles back at that familiar figure, too. "I'm sorry for a moment," he said to the exchange section manager, and Kota proceeded to walk to the desk.

"Long time no see, ma'am. I'm not out of time."

"It's been a really long time! How have you been?

Wife with a cheerful smile - Kota also smiles back at the wife of the president of East-West Construction Industries. I have been assigned to the Exchange Division for four months. Since Ayano brings the transfer back with the money collection, there is little chance that his wife will bother to come to the desk. Haota hasn't seen him in four months.

"How is the president doing, too?

"That guy's fine at any time. Tell Kota-chan, 'Tell him to come for coffee once in a while! He said," Oh, my God. I'll brew my own hands! What? "

"The president's coffee is as thick as mud."

"You really are, aren't you? That guy, 'cause he puts beans in like an idiot."

The president's original, dark coffee as that idiot reminds me of, and Kota smiles bitterly. His wife smiled bitterly at Kota like that, and then pounded her hand as she remembered.

"Oh, yeah! Listen to me, Hota! In the meantime, the Branch Manager came to us!

"... the branch manager? Well, if you'll excuse me..."

The market is determined to some extent by the location where the branch manager conducts an incentive visit. The branch manager is also a human, although it is usually a muscle to turn to each company. It will focus on destinations of some magnitude, good business partners, high local influence… or poor business conditions.

"The other way, the other way around! The branch manager came to ask me to borrow my money! I've been dealing with Sumitomo Bank for over thirty years, but I've never seen anything like it! That guy's up!

- The words leaked out of Kota's mouth.

"Ayano, that's amazing. You brought the branch manager to speak extensively in front of him and me." This company is amazing, "he said."

Kota felt her body harden a little bit to the appearance of her happily speaking wife. I desperately stop connecting my heart as if it were going to fall apart, forcing myself to smile on my face and show it.

"... isn't that awesome! Good for you!

"Yes! Until now I've only asked for it, but now I'm relieved"

- He said quit.

"But not if you're still alarmed, right?

"Yeah, I know! I also tried to calculate the cost properly! Ayano told me!

- Please.

"That was good. We have our own way around the corner, so take advantage of it."

"Yes. I wondered what would happen if Kota wasn't in charge anymore."

- Please, that's why.

"If Ayano is here, don't worry!

- Don't tell me it's okay, even if it's not "Kota Matsudai".

"... right. Okawa is brilliant, ma'am. Listen to Okawa.

He pushes and kills emotions that are likely to cry, and Kota smiles and shows them. That's what I knew. No matter how hard you try, no matter how hard you struggle, bankers are often relocated or replaced in two or three years. Dragging past reps at all times is never a good thing, and getting used to new reps is the happiest thing for customers and banks alike. And as a banker, I have to be glad that my successor made the company bigger and was able to help, and Hota knows full well that it was.

"... Matsuyo"

"... Yes"

I finished talking a lot and said, 'I'll be back!' To Kota, who bowed his head and dropped off his wife's back, who was leaving, the chief of the Exchange Department, who was watching a series of currents, pounded that back.

"... I hear you've been struggling. So don't be so depressed. Rather, be glad. Your business is doing better."

"... Yes"

I knew that.

If you look at bankers from the company, they're "leftovers." No matter how hard I tried, I knew I couldn't be the only one, and yes, I knew that.

"I know."

I know that.

"Just... just a little"

Just a little, I was just hoping, so...

When I was' needed 'myself, I just thought so.

He pounded Kota's shoulder like that again with a laugh, and the exchange chief went back to his own seat.

◇◆◇◆◇◆

"Hey, Mr. Coata. Why don't you hang out with me?

Haota was told twice in the group, one on one, to have a drink to a woman she knew at a concert she had been invited to by her senior, about her way home.

"... Huh?

"'Huh?' That's terrible. What? Am I saying something so unexpected?

With a bitter smile, a woman poking and showing Kota's nose. He was a tall beauty, two years older than Kota, and a receptionist for electric manufacturers in the city.

"Yes, no, but Rin, I thought you were after Nagayama..."

"Mr. Nagayama? Yeah, Mr. Nagayama is a little... handsome, I know, but he said," I don't have a breast. "

"Mr. Nagayama... did you say something that terrible?

"'It's okay, Rin! Because it's status! If you say that while you're looking at your chest, it hurts me, too?

I care! and showed her cheeks swollen like outrage, then smiled.

"At that time, Kota, 'Rin is a slender beauty. He said," I admire you. "

Remember? and Rin smiling like a prankster, Kota shook her head left and right to show it. Honestly, I don't remember at all.

"I'm sorry, I don't remember... Um, I'm sorry"

"Why are you apologizing? I'm Coata, and that's what you thought was good, isn't it?

"... Really? 'Cause I'm saying things I don't even know. Ah."

Even if Hota notices that it is a silence, the hour is already late.

"... that ~, Mr. Coata? You told me about me, you slender beauty, was that a lie?

More vigorously than earlier, Kota shook his neck to the left and right by Rin, who looked at Kota with a dazed eye. Such a look of Hota was hilarious, or there was a nibbling grin on his mysterious face earlier.

"Look, twice for all of us, three times when we meet today. Meanwhile, Coata, I've been watching you with a lot of concern... what do you mean? You're saying you care about everyone, or you've been working on it so everyone can enjoy it? Whose cup has no alcohol, arrange a cab for everyone, or try to have drunken truthful care."

"That's... you see, I'm the youngest. It's obvious."

"Young kids these days... I'm not old enough to say great things about people either! They say that, but our young lad wouldn't do that either, would he? I mean, honestly, I wanted to move about you, Coata, in my first year, too, and when they said, confidently, 'I'm not moving!' I can say."

"Well, Rin is a woman. There's a man in the first place."

"Stop"

"- Very, muggle!

Rin gently uses his index finger to control the mouth of the coater as he tries to keep talking. With the system as it was, he grinned, and put his mouth in Coata's ear - as it was, he bit it in Coata's ear.

"Ouch! Hey, Rin!

"Somehow I said, 'Come on!' I chewed because I was so relieved. Earlier, he said it wasn't, it wasn't... a boy, was it? Jesus or no, be clear."

A blaming gaze pierces Kota, peeking from between Long's dark hair. Unexpectedly one step behind that gaze - the motion was sealed by a hug.

"Ri, Rin!

"Whoa? No? Come on, which one?

……

……

"... that... I don't know, me, right?

"... what does that mean?

"Well... I can't do my job at all. My boss's always pissed me off, and I don't know what I'm writing after reading the policy set, and I'm not out of a good college, and it hurts so bad! Rin, feet! My heel is piercing the back of my leg as much as I can think of!

"I'm stepping on it."

"That's a different way to use it! Ouch! Seriously, it hurts!

"Well, it's a shame you're talking about, isn't it? You know what? I'm not saying I can screw up my job, remember the policy set perfectly in one go, let alone you're out of college. Amdashi?

"I get it! I understand, please step back!

One last glance. Rin finally retreated his heel heel from Kota's leg as he nodded satisfied with his tearful, moist eyes.

"... do you understand?

"............... For now, I know Rin is a pretty violent person. What will you do if I wake up in that world?"

"I'll take responsibility for you. So? Why don't you let me get back to you soon?

Still holding on, one sigh of sighing at Rin for doing such a thing. Kota tried to pull that body apart.

I finally realize Rin's body is trembling in small pieces.

"... well, I, I really can't, can I?

"You still say that?

"Not... the"

... really, with such a 'me'... is that good?

"Even if it's not me, there's a lot of better people, right?

"... silly."

Rin smiled one bitter smile at Kota, who looked troubled.

"... Isn't anyone good?" You're a good one. "

- How the hell should I describe Hota's feelings at that time?

It's not good for anyone, "Kota" is good, he said.

"Kota Matsudai" is good, not "one of many others".

There is no talent, and someone else will 'need' me for being small and not enough to take it.

- Well, how sweet... and joyful.

"... Rin"

"Yes."

"The... Nice to meet you"

"... eheh. Nice to meet you, Coata."

Rin gently closes her moist eyes. Even if I have no experience, I have lived with Hota for twenty-three years. Understand exactly what that trick means, and leave that to the right answer Rin wants.

- My first kiss tasted like Campari Orange.

◇◆◇◆◇◆

Rin and Haota, who began in a manner close to love, went out for three months and then had a breakdown. There are various reasons, but if we were to simplify the problem very much, it would be a factor that we kept caring for each other. Kota cared too much for the first woman who made me 'need me', Rin was Rin and continued to care about Kota, who cared about herself as if she were a princess. I never hated it, but gradually the difference occurred, and eventually the ditch became irreparable and broke.

I don't hate you. But... I'm sorry, I can't do this anymore '

Kota nodded silently at Rin's words, who said so with a crying smile on his face. Kota herself has been completely exhausted and cut off by emotions she has never had before. When we think about each other, this shape comes the firmest. So I thought I'd say goodbye.

- Kota's "Fast Forward" begins here.

Every time he was confessed, Hota went out with him from one end. Nothing, I didn't break up with her and throw myself away. The emotion of 'others need me', just because I craved it like a child.

"Ayano! I, she's here!

"Oh, yeah. Last time it was two months... now it's about a month?

"Oh, isn't that terrible?

"It's not terrible. Good? I've told you many times, but don't take that stance you're going to get along with right now because you've been confessed. You'll get stabbed sometime."

"No, but... I'm sorry I said no."

"Foreword withdrawn. Get stabbed."

"... will you come and see me?

"I'll tell you. To salt the wound."

"A ghost!

With such a light-hearted slap, Kota was still happy. They see 'themselves'. Ayano used to say, "You, right? I'm telling you, you're hot because you're a 'banker'? Look, your girlfriends are only looking at the steady income behind you, okay? '. Even if that's true, Kota was still good. It doesn't matter if they're choosing me to look at future stability. Because the" banker "doesn't change the fact that Kota made an effort and Kota grabbed it and it's Kota himself.

Kota worked harder after that. The harder I try, the more 'she' sees Kota. He needs me. Work and romance worked hard.

It was only then that the habit of Kota, who had a habit of 'embracing' his work, became more pronounced. Ayano was good and said, 'I won't hold it until I can't do it myself!' He was angry, but still, Kota did not make it good to rely on people for the work. It's not something anyone can do, because 'I can only do it', because I think so, or because 'I wanted to assume'.

"... Matsuyo-san, hey"

That day is Friday. Immediately after attending work, Hota was summoned to the branch manager's office. Even in October, the heat was harsh, and Kota stopped the move in the words of the head of the diplomatic section, who said 'hey', as he tried to enter the branch manager's office with his jacket hanging on his chair.

"What is it, Chief?"

"Your jacket, you left it undressed? Put it on properly."

"Your jacket, is it?

My boss nodding yes and my senior members of the Diplomatic Section. Hota grabbed the jacket by going back to his chair with a question mark on his finger.

"What?"

"Come on?"

Responding by leaning his neck towards Ayano, who likewise floats a question mark in the next seat, Kota knocks on the door of the branch manager's office. If you'll excuse the Branch Manager's words' into it ', I greeted him and entered the room, always seeing him smiling uncommonly Nico for the Branch Manager on the top of the Buddha.

"Matsuyo-san, button"

As they say, fasten the button. After nodding satisfactorily at the appearance, the branch manager removed a piece of paper from the inside pocket of the jacket.

"- Dictionary. Kota Matsudai, ordered to work for the General Planning Department"

Congratulations on the glory, Hota receives the dictionary offered, listening fluffily to the branch manager's words. Staring at his own name written there and the letters saying he ordered him to work for the General Planning Department, Kota felt his body tremble.

"Oh, thank you!

"You're doing great. In the third year, the General Planning Department is undisputed and thriving. Congratulations, Matsuyo-san."

The branch manager then rushed to talk about the succession and sent out Kota gently, 'Look, just report back to everyone'. The moment I step out of the branch manager's office, the gaze in the store before business hours pours on Kota.

"Huh!"

Kouta wandered for a moment at the amount of gaze gathered. The head of the Diplomatic Section, his immediate boss, spoke to Kota as he watched Kota's tricks with a tense face.

"... where were you?

"Duh, where?

"It's a transfer. Where's the branch?

"No, it's headquarters, not branches"

"HQ? Hey, where the hell are you?

"The… General Planning Department,"

"Even the General Planning Department!

A loud voice from the head of the diplomatic section echoes on the floor. After a moment of quiet, the sales room sprang up.

"Hey, Matsuyo! That's a real boom!

"Oh, really? The branch manager also told me that I was thriving... Oh, really?

"Kah! How many years have you been a banker? Okay? It's a general plan, a general plan! It's like the bank's command tower, which determines the whole business policy of the bank! Many of the board members are experienced directors of general planning, and both the current and previous ones are from general planning! Bank mainstream, if you ask me, it's a super birth course!

In the third year, but you didn't even hear Hota, the section chief stood up early and turned that arm around Hota's neck.

"Wow, you! Executive Director Nagata is on the same course as Marunouchi's second store in general planning? This is a straight line on the board course!

"Well, that's such an easy thing."

"Naturally! But you know what? I'm telling you, how many people think we can't get that far? That's how you got on that course, huh? This is amazing!

Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, he There are more people in the Diplomatic Section than just now in the words of the section president. Almost rubbed, but managed to get out of that ring this way.

"... that?

I notice no Ayano in it. Haota gently controlled the section chief trying to turn his arm around Haota's neck, and Haota rushed toward the sales room door, which remained open. I bought two canned coffee from a vending machine upstairs in the dining room and went straight up the stairs leading to the roof.

"..."

"..."

Ayano leaves himself to the handrail on the bank's rooftop and stares at the city's flow. After that, Kota calls out to him. It is the reply that returns, shoulder to shoulder to Ayano, who does not intend to turn this way, and Hota deposits herself in the handrail to line up next to it, looking down at the lower realm. He stared at the appearance of many people coming and going as if it represented the busiest city in Japan, took two canned coffee out of his jacket while he was still wearing it, and offered Ayano a bottle.

"Luxury?"

"Luxury"

"I'm sorry. The truth is, I have to be extravagant to celebrate the glory."

"Fine. I'm going to ask you to keep your mouth shut."

"That's scary. Mainly, purses are better. Would you mind if I hit my hand with one can of coffee, too?

"Seriously? No, well, that's good..."

Just kidding, Ayano opens a can of coffee pull tab and puts his mouth on the sip. Kota had a grin that mixed with his fancy drinks, about half a sip.

"... Congratulations"

"Thank you, should I say so? I can't really feel anything."

"I don't want to be transferred." I'm a general planning person! 'So I'm sure Kota will say. "Mr. Okawa, here, you're wrong. Please fix it', on the phone, in a nasty way that pumped the elite smell of HQ"

"... hey, that would be too bad an image. Mainly mine."

"Everyone says people change when they go to HQ. I'm sure Kouta will say,"

Kota brings a clear look to Ayano's words. Ayano sighted the face with a bitter smile and drank the rest of the coffee all at once.

"... coffee, thanks. And congratulations."

That being said, Ayano leans down and walks out toward the door that leads downstairs to Kota.

"Hey! Wait a minute!

That, speaking of excess attitude, Hota rushed to grab Ayano's arm.

"Huh?"

I found there a glimmer of tears flowing from Ayano's eyes.

"Ah... Ya?

"Let go."

Ayano turned his back and walked out again, gently paying for the arms of the grabbed Hota.

"Hey, Hota. Are you... staying the same?

Hearing Ayano's words as if a cry had crossed, Haota stood up flashly, and the wind stroked Haota's hair and cheeks as she laughed at him.
